Excellent staff and service! The property is so so beautiful! My only complaints were that the AC was not very strong for sleeping at night. But otherwise, a wonderful stay and a hotel I recommend!

Terrible! The

Only negative thing was that the restaurant was only serving tapas and was closed our two last nights. Also would have liked a boiler for water and coffee in the room. The hotel was beautiful and it’s location perfect! Staff super nice and the room one of the best I’ve ever been in! Highly recommended!

The room is a nightmare. It hasn't been cleaned properly and the furniture was old and full of stains. There was already a bad smell when entering the room and the first impression didn't get better. There was mold in the shower and the fittings seemed not been cleaned for ages. The toilet had staines and lime depositions. In the bathroom closets we found make up from guests before and a dirty towel. The air conditioning didn't work properly so it was quite warm in the room. The pillows had a very bad smell.The balcony looked as if it has never been cleaned. And this all in a so called "luxury room". Over all, very poor...

I cannot stress what a wonderful hotel this is, the room was magnificent, excellent value and we had such a lovely time. My warmest thanks to the staff and the Tavel Rose is delicious.

Typical French hotel with great pool area. Slightly disappointed with the bath in the room as it was broken. Castle view which was a beautiful touch.

Lovely character building and very comfortable rooms. Big big wardrobes, working ac, shutters on doors, nice balcony overlooking pretty gardens, huge bed. English tv channels went down but don’t go there for the tv. Just 10 minutes drive to old town of Avignon. 5-10 minutes walk to delightful picturesque town of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon- great place to eat outside with excellent restaurants, little shops and loads of charm. Perfect balance. Very happy. Great stay. Blonde staff lady brilliant great suggestions of where to go every day - really made the trip. Very pleased all round and would recommend

Thought it was just okay for the money. Thoght it was closer to Avignon.

It was very quaint and we loved our room. Very spacious and beautiful terrace. Room 7.

We arrived in the middle of a major heat wave, they had cold cloths available at check in. Very helpful with what to visit. Would recommend.

The pool was great, the beetles are very loud all day long but we got use to them.. the hotel is to far from Avignon to walk a $20 euro cab

Hair dryer was not working. Mentioned to front desk multiple times didn’t get properly resolved.

the experience was just what you would expect from this quality hotel. The staff were helpful and polite, the food was excellent and the facilities in the room were good.

Did not like the frosty & unhelpful receptionist on arrival. Two huge parties on 2 consecutive nights caused late noise. Breakfast food mediocre. Charging for parking on hotel grounds unreasonable. Beautiful garden breakfast with delightful waiter. Good pool. Room good size with large balcony.

Room was musty, ground level farthest from the lobby. Grounds were neglected, dead plants, weeds, mosquitos in the pond.

The property was spectacular and our room gigantic. Parking was easy. The hotel was a short walk to the village with plenty of restaurant options.

The rooms at the Hotel are great but missing a few simple enhancements that would make a huge difference. Put in a small mini bar with tea & coffee making facilities. Sort out the TV and connectivity, as part of a larger group of Hotels & restaurants the choice of international tv was appalling. Staff seemed aloof when asking for advice in the local area, I appreciate its tricky when you have a restaurant on site but at least offer some suggestions. Bathrooms were huge but missing bathrobes and slippers, again small details. Location is great it’s walkable into town so easy to access. Would consider to come back but would hope these small improvements could be made to really wow the guests.

Love, love, love this Hotel! The reception was great, the room was lovely, I wish we could have booked more nights. Would have loved to try the restaurant. Location was just minutes from the city centre. We enjoyed exploring around there more than the city centre actually!

This place is personal and charming and doesn’t feel like a big hotel. The buildings let you feel that you are living in the style of a old cardinal.

Hotel was clean and service was good. The pool was a bonus and we used it every day. Had breakfast on our last day and would recommend it.

A peaceful, beautifully appointed hotel a short walk from the village centre, in the hills above. Very quiet, with its own pool and lovely garden. Excellent friendly and professional staff in departments. Food very good indeed - mediterranean in style and ingredients, just the right quantity, well thought out and carefulĺy delivered. We had the fixed price dinner,and there is also a la carte, which looks great but is beyond our price range. The village is just across the river from old Avignon, a short bus ride away. Plenty of excellent bars and very good restaurants in Villeneuve itself, which also has its own history and interesting ancient sites to visit. If you have a car there's lots to see and do in this beautiful part of France.

Very nice hotel outside of Avignon. It is located in a residential area, and there is not much around the area, so a car is necessary.

After touring Avignon, we would recommend this hotel. Quick check-in, easy parking, and pleasant staff. We loved our room, with balcony and comfortable table and chair, overlooking a garden-like yard. The pool was lovely too.
