Great place to stay!

This was the second stay at this property for my wife and I, finishing up some family things in Cadillac. Overall an excellent place as it's affordable, clean, and in a great location. We didnt partake in as many ammenities this time as last, what this Comfort Inn has to offer is just right. My only issue this stay was the internet. On this stay I had to work a during the day, and sometimes I my VPN connection would drop. Being an Infrastructure Engineer I looked into their offering with some network tooks, seems to be fiber with low latency but each guest is capped at 5Mbps both up and down. Their official site lists "Fast and free Wi-Fi" but according to the FCC the definition of high speed internet is 100Mbps down and 20Mbps up. The cap by the hotel should be raised to at least a minimum of 20/10Mbps. In conclusion, great overall stay with a caveat.

Staff was really helpful and the room was clean but had a bit of a misty smell

The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. The front desk gentleman who checked us in on 4th of July around 6pm was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options were great and they change it up so it’s not the same everyday. Would definitely stay there again.

We had such a good time. The pool and hot tub are fantastic. The room was really clean. A lot of yummy breakfast options. Fantastic stay!

Clean, quiet good breakfast options.

This Hotel was excellent, all of the staff from front desk to house keeping were genuinely nice. The hot breakfast staff were excellent as well, they communicated when they had more eggs, bacon or whatever they were making coming out to the warmer trays and kept the area very clean. The food they had to choose from was plentiful. Because I travel a lot for business I notice things about hotel most might not so here is what I noticed, hallways vacuumed frequently and corners didn’t get missed, floors mopped more than once a day and not sticky from old mop water, new mattress being installed in recently decorated rooms or at least mine was. My king mattress was so comfortable it makes me think about replacing my mattress at home. The only two things I think they could improve on were firmer pillows and coffee. I would Prefer a fresh brew coffee but it doesn’t have to be Starbucks, just something a little more bolder and that has a coffee taste. I did appreciate they had half & half available and not the unhealthy flavor pump syrup .

Very clean and comfortable hotel for a last-minute, one night stay while traveling. Overnight desk clerk was extremely personable and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast area was very clean and well-stocked and had good selection of hot items.

The check-in team, Jon and Stacey worked with me to assure I was placed in a very quiet room. I explained that I'd had a very long day as my father is under hospice care. I was in need of undisturbed sleep and they made it happen. Forever grateful.

The last few hotels I have stayed at were kind of a nightmare. From really dirty/grotesque facilities to extremely noisy hotel guests that were partying at one hotel and some were fighting at another into all hours of the night. Mind you, I always pick “nicer” areas and hotels that at least have decent ratings but obviously there’s a lot of false advertisement in that bc it hasn’t been what it was advertised. On top of the fact that I travel with my 1.5 year old, so you can imagine the worry and discomfort and disappointment and not to mention ANGER that I felt during these stays. Keeping my baby awake all night from loud party noises to being worried about the fights/arguments taking place right outside our door and hotel staff not doing anything about it. I was starting to lose faith in hotels and starting to grow weary of traveling. But my stay at this Comfort Inn recently was a breath of fresh air! The facility was super clean upon arrival, the gentleman that checked me in was very pleasant, the room was clean, and most importantly of all, IT WAS QUIET! I was somewhat worried bc my daughter and I were located right by the stairwell… but luckily for us I think most people prefer the elevator these days lol. The continental breakfasts every morning were wonderful, the. Breakfast staff were so sweet and welcoming, the food was cooked great and they kept everything stocked so well during the morning rush. The breakfast area was kept clean during it all as well! I Recommend!
