At check in the motel charged me higher than the confirmed rate from hotels.com that I had booked. Hotels.com tried to get the motel to give me a credit but the owner refused. At check out I asked for a receipt but the person on the phone declined and said they’d email it. No email received. 2nd night if stay water turned off at property with no warning. Was told other room plumbing issue. Water back on 30+ minutes later and then toilet starting running non-stop. Office said it would stop after 30 minutes. But still ran 45 minutes later. Called again and maintenance came and adjusted toilet. Big picture is the lack of motel abiding by the confirmed rate from hotels.com.

The room that we were in could’ve definitely be cleaned/dusted off better before we arrive. The A/C console had a thick layer of dust, amongst other areas…a small pile of hair next to the bathtub (between the bathtub and the toilet). The door to the room was not properly aligned so it didn’t seal all the way allowing bugs to come inside. There were stains on various places of the bedding (i.e., the pillowcases, the bed sheet, etc.) It is such a good price though for how close it is to the beach/city center, so technically I shouldn’t complaint since you get what you paid for. The staffs were very nice and efficient for sure! It’s a no frills place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Iron and board, hair dryer, coffepot, refrigerator and microwave in the room. Loved everything about it.

We were greeted by the clerk right away. Very kind and gave us bottled water when we checked in!

I am a seasoned traveler and found this hotel to be adequate for a several night stay.

Room reeked of smoke!!! Had to change room. Second room acceptable for price. Very old motel. Chair in room should have been thrown away 30 years ago.

Stayed 2 nights, but it didn’t clean the room…. I had to ask the clean towels and a garbage bag…!? The bathroom needs more clean…?!

The people who work up front are very attentive and nice, but my room was VERY loud. My fridge and AC kept me up most of the night and my TV did not work. It was a fine stay for what I needed, but it could've been better.

Pretty darn good for a $63 1 night stay in a road trip. Can’t really ask for anything more. Nice comfy beds, clean rooms, polite staff. Easy in, easy out

Construction was confusing

This hotel is what you pay for. No carpet, laminate flooring. The flooring was pealing up. The place is ok, it just needs some maintenance and upkeep. Smells a little musky upon arrival. If you just need sleep, then its fine.

Mattress was very comfortable and too high for me...there should be a pull out step for short, older people. I might of fallen trying to get on bed. We stayed two nights but no new towels the second day. NOONE answered the phone at door of office like the sign said But we slept well and liked micro frig and coffee pot Thanks

Check in was a little messed up but the manager went out of his way to make it right.

Was a nice stay very convenient location

I wouldn't stay here again. Floor wasn't very clean, bathroom door wouldn't shur, toilet wouldn't flush good. No blow dryer available. Could hear the toilet in the room above us flush and people outside talking.

AJ was nice and the place was clean and cheap.

Within walking distance to restaurants.

I was supposed to have a smoke free room. I thought I was sleeping in an ash tray.

It was a great place to stay for the money we spent. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the water. When filling up the tub, it seemed the water was a bit yellow. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.

We had a wonderful sleep in our clean and pretty room. Staff was kind and helpful full.

We only stayed 1 night! The rooms have been updated and were clean. The manager AJ was very nice as was the rest of the staff. I would stay again.

It was an older hotel. Definitely in need of some upgrades. But the area was safe and the hotel was comfortable. Plus the price was better than any of the other hotels in the area.

Clean and a convenient location. Only about 1.5 miles from the square, shopping and beach.

Our stay at Rodeway Inn at St Joseph MI was wonderful. Clean room, friendly staff. We always love seeing the improvements from last time we stayed. They are always working on being better.

I think this place was the old St Joe Inn many years ago. It's simply furnished but the beds are super comfortable, the linens look new, and the room is appointed with refrigerator microwave and coffee maker. It's a decent size room too. I like that the windows can slide open which I prefer at night over air conditioning. Looks like a nice pool outside but it was closed for the season. Perfect place for the price. Close to downtown St Joe and walkable to several places. No free breakfast but didn't really matter.

The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and took care of all our needs. The location is great and the nearby neighborhood is very walkable and cute.

Room smelled terrible, musty, and dirty. Pillows were old and worn out. Couldn't wait to leave. We were given paper sacks for breakfast that contained juice boxes, muffins, and breakfast bars, which is a nightmare for a diabetic.

I couldn't relate the photos of the room to the actual situation, so much so that before I wrote the review, I wondered if I actually staied in this place. The room was small and the chairs and couch were dirty. I didn't see the breakfast area in the photos as she directly gave me three paper bags with bread cake for our breakfast. I have to say that the front desk room is neatly furnished and enshrines Buddha statues.
