We booked this stay based on the reviews and comments we read. The owner is great and cares about his property. I enjoyed talking with him. Super convenient to Baxter State Park, very clean, we would definitely come back!

Came to the area to do some hiking in Baxter state park. The hotel was decent the only complaint was the breakfast. Very basic could maybe add something like bagels and cream cheese?

Check-in was quick and easy. Room was clean with fresh paint, dated decor. A big negative was the plethora of signs EVERYWHERE addressed to guests - VERY unwelcoming. A better strategy would be to hand guests a single sheet of paper when they check in that informs them of rules and extra charges.

There was nothing special about this property (other than it has some cats in the lobby). Overall, it was a clean, quiet place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. And if you don't mind cats, you'll have nothing to complain about. If you do mind cats, well, send someone else into the lobby to check in. And don't worry, the cats don't roam the halls so you shouldn't have any nightmares beyond your usual.

Imagine walking into the breakfast room and seeing a cat sitting on the table. They have the run of the place. Even if you are not allergic, do you want to set your meal where a cat's unwashed bottom has just been resting?

Room was very comfortable and having microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot was an added benefit. Very quiet so must have solid walls and good insulation. We were very pleased with mostly everything. Towels, coffee, cleaning was not provided one day, but we did not leave room until noon, so maybe services aren’t available after noon.

We went to Millinocket to observe the eclipse. We had three rooms. We had a great visit. Baxter Park Inn was exactly what we needed.

It was very good. The staff are very friendly. I love that they have a continental breakfast. The room was very nice and warm. I stayed a couple nights, so I could take advantage of some snowshoeing fairly closeby. I'd definitely stay there again.

The facility is very dated. It was clean and staff were friendly. Due to staffing problems towels were changed daily, but little else was cleaned. That was fine with us as we are traveling with a dog so his bed and food/water dishes were on the floor. The included breakfast left room for improvement.

Very nice and helpful staff. Rooms clean. Mattress could use an upgrade, not very comfortable. Chairs lacked support to bottoms so had to sit on a pillow to use chairs. Very favorable location for going to Baxter SP.
