The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in! Charming, grand, beautiful, clean AND MOST IMPORTANTLY- the best service we’ve ever had from the delightful staff. We’d barely mention getting a cab and one would be there. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We are going back to New Orleans and staying at the Omni Royal Orleans!

Great hotel. However, it was not communicated that the parking and the resort fee would be taken out of my incidental that I paid. I was extremely upset about this and it seemed like no one cared.

The Omni is our only option for staying in the Quarter.
The location is amazing. Its far enough away from Bourbon to stay quiet at night. The Staff goes above and beyond at all times. The bartenders are some of the friendliest in the city and have the BEST advice of where to go, eat, etc... The rooms are clean and well maintained and the rooftop pool is bar none the best.
Pay a little extra. It's worth it!

Decided on a weekend trip to New Orleans and once again chose the Omni Royal to stay. This hotel is top-notch. Close enough to everything in the French Quarter, but far enough away from the noise and obnoxiousness of Bourbon Street.
The staff - from doorman to check in to housekeeping - are so wonderful, helpful, and friendly.
Will be a repeat customer again in the future!

I absolutely loved this hotel. I will admit that I first chose it because it was on a list of haunted hotels in New Orleans and I'm into that, but then I saw photos on the website and was sold. I didn't see/feel any evidence of being haunted so that may be a pro/con for you. But I was won over by the experience regardless and would stay there again in a heartbeat. It's a beautiful old-school hotel and the location absoultely cannot be beat. I scheduled a bunch of tours and activities, and the hotel was within a 10 minute walk of everything I had on my agenda.Traveling solo as a woman, I felt completely comfortable. The staff was warm and helpful. Amazing restaurants within blocks. I plan to come back and stay at the Omni in the future.

I found nothing "Royal" about the Omni Royal Orleans. Room was outdated and dark and the bathroom was worse. The bathroom sink was filled with sand and they alloted you two towels. Carpets in the public area were worn and the elevators were rickety. The staff, however, was pleasant and efficient.

I stay here often because of the warmth and friendliness of the staff from Valet, Bellmen, Front Desk and Rooftop staff are great. Food is way overpriced ... breakfast, lunch and dinner!

This hotel is gorgeous. The staff was so friendly from check in to the restaurant inside. The restaurant was delicious and very attentive. The lobby also had a man playing the piano which was so lovely. One of my favorite amenities was the pool. It’s a rooftop pool with a great view of New Orleans and you can see the river.

There was only one working elevator during our stay, not even a service elevator working… staff and guests using one small elevator. Signage for stairs not helpful either.

Large bathtub with jets. Water was hot and strong. Definitely recommend.we had a king size Premium room that was really large.
