Very dated rooms,the phone didn't work, and I was a little disappointed in the tv channels offered

Staff were very friendly. They clearly sunk all their money into the golf course/pool and restaurant and reception area. As soon as we walked in our room the level of disappointment was high. Everything was beautiful but the rooms were dark/dank and full of bugs. Luckily we spent most of our time in San Antonio or in the pool. Too bad because it has the potential to be an absolutely beautiful resort.

Beautiful grounds, great service, and close to downtown Boerne. Rooms are in serious need of renovations. Price is very reasonable regardless.

The resort is located in a beautiful part of the TX Hill Country. However, the buildings and guest rooms are very outdated. The rooms are clean and the staff is very responsive, but the rooms are not what you’d expect.

The best part of this stay was the friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a king suite. The room was a bit outdated and worn, but not uncomfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We played golf and the course was in great shape and fun to play. We saw dozens of deer driving to the property and around the property. We enjoyed this touch of nature. We might stay here again. We wonder if the condos on the property might be a bit more updated.

It was very relaxing. The buildings and rooms need updating. I would describe it as motel camping. I would be back for the gold course!

Absolutely a phenomenal place from the pools to the golf course. My husband said that the chef salad at the bar was the "best that he has ever had." Loved the balcony overlooking the pool Also loved the corn hole activities, hammocks, adult pool, free driving range, and the free water bottles in the room refrigerator.

This COULD be a gem. Beautiful surroundings, golf course, kids pool, fire-sites at night…the problem is inconsistency. It’s impossible to get hold of anyone in the restaurant to book a table, the menu is laughable - few menu items that are all contrived (trying to be a top steakhouse), and overpriced, yet the service, presentation and food is TERRIBLE. Reheated baked potatoes, two sirloins that were tough, sinewy and had to be sent back twice. A hostess who shook her hear when we changed our request from a booth to a table. A cocktail drink that was forgotten. If they simplified the menu, added items that were less grandiose and employed a manager that wasnt past his sell-by date this place would be magic. The golf course was mediocre at best, yet wanted $125 green feed for hotel patrons, ok by NY standards but this is small town Texas! (Check the course reviews, patchy) The rooms were a good size, furniture tired though and bathrooms were circa 1980’s. The pool was great but staff turned up when they felt like it (they were required for tye slide so we as parents eventually figured it out) and we never saw a barman despite a well stocked fun looking bar. This really is a diamond in the rough-as my wife said, a resort wannabe staffed by untrained country folk…nothing wrong with that, they were all friendly, just untrained…i had to assist with opening of the $95 french pinot noir and advise the waitress who to let taste, etc. Owners, call me & i’ll turn this around in 6 months

Beautiful property. Great golf. Hill country. Gorgeous scenery. Only negative - Lots of families - with young kids. Upstairs room noise and pools dominated by kids. Still, would go back.

The main building of the property is beautiful but the rooms need to be refreshed. Check in was at 4p but we didn’t get our room keys until 5p along with many other guests. There was no apology or compensation offered. We were told we could wait and go to the pool but not given a key to get in. The adult pool does not have enough umbrellas or seating and is small. You are not allowed to bring your own snacks or food to the pool. Happy hour prices are not valid on the weekend but are advertising otherwise.

This is advertised as a resort. The front desk is small and the building where you check in has no rooms. It’s where all banquet halls and restaurants are. They give you a map to the building where the rooms are. It’s like an old apartment building. The staff do not go out of their way. Just average and leave you alone. During our stay the power went out at 3am. We had to leave due to them not having a backup generator. They didn’t offer any type of compensation or a comped room. Just the BS walk around. It’s not worth the money to stay but great to have a wedding or golf. The property is nice. Water looks murky. Not lake front. The rooms are nice size but bathroom is disappointing.

Beautiful property set in the Texas Hill Country with a good 18 hole golf course, fire pit, children and adult pool as well as games and movies for the kids on the weekends. The property was clean and in good working order but is getting a little tired and could use a remodel. We had fun and it is well priced!

10 steps in the room and your feet would be filthy.

When I went to check in at 4pm our room wasn’t ready, even though I had booked a month in advance. One night we were asked to leave the adult because the whole pool area was reserved for the evening. Room service never cleaned our room in four days. I didn’t realize the resort was as old as it was. It needs some updating and the water pressure was awful. Couple of bright spots the pool was great, pizza best thing on their menu, and there was one young at front desk that super helpful.

Food service was horrible. Ac didn't go below 70. Maid service only if required.

Our room was clean.. rooms need updating, especially bathrooms, not a huge deal. We had a balcony with 0 view because their trees/plants blocked 90% of it. We could maybe see the sky. My kids loved the swimming pool area.. although hard to get in because key cards never worked the pools were nice. This place definitely needs a third pool.. it was very crowded. We reserved this resort with the intention to at least play a round of golf but when me and my husband tried to schedule a T-time for the following morning.. the guy seemed lost like we were asking a super difficult question. He said it was extremely full because of Memorial Day weekend, understandable. He stated the only available t-times were from 2pm and on. He suggested we just use their practice area, so we didn’t schedule anything and stayed in the shop to look at merchandise. The 2 ladies behind us walk up to the counter next, he then tells them the next morning is full like he told us but proceeds with “but I’m sure I can squeeze yall in if you show up about 8:30 or 9am” I’m in disbelief. We were standing there, we were still visible but he didn’t care. Extremely unprofessional.

Fabulous Golf Resort, Staff in every task are great at what they do. Highly recommend Tapatio Golf Resort in Boerne, Texas as a destination to stay at.

Nice rooms areas. Nice rooms are outdated. They updated on me with pain while we’re staying. And where are you stay as far away if you wanna go to the dining room, you have to walk everywhere. Over all okay I don’t think I’ll stay there again

I asked for a first floor room. I was given a second floor. I checked in and am disabled obviously having oxygen tubing in my nose and when I requested the first floor was told no very bruskly and the person didn’t even look. I had a very difficult time getting up and down the stairs. This is not a place for a couples retreat. It is loud and full of drunk golfers and people there for conferences. While the pool looked nice I couldn’t go in it. The place looked liked old renovated apartments. And the patio view was of the parking lot. Not romantic at all.

Had some maintenance issues with water pressure. Resolved quickly and maintenance staff is EXCELLENT. Commendable staff all around.

Everyone in the property was very nice and helpful. Thanks for a great day on my anniversary. Me and my wife enjoyed it very much.
