Great hotel...location complicated when you don’t have car.

As a family we travel a lot and this hotel was disappointing. From the photos it looked like in was in a lovely location right next to the Danube and yes, it was right beside the river but that's all it was beside. It was not within walking distance of the city centre. The 27 bus does take you directly to the centre and the busstop is only a 5min walk from the hotel but it is not a very nice walk especially when it was dark at night. I would imagine it would be a very lonely and unsafe walk on your own. When we arrived the first night it was late as our flight had been delayed. We got to the hotel around midnight and the two male receptionnists were smoking at the entrance to the hotel. They also were not the friendliest, no offer of pleasantries...."enjoy your stay etc". The rooms themselves were just ok, the decor quite drab and old-fashioned and there were no USB posts which should be a must in this day and age. The bathrooms were clean and satisfactory. I can't comment on breakfast as we did not have any in our 3 night stay. This hotel is supposed to be 4 Star but in my opinion it is very far away from that. I would not recommend :(

It was a great stay! They were all very friendly and helpul! The only thing, i didn't like was: the shower! It was very low, so I couldn't even wash my hairs.

-walls paper thin, could hear everything next door.
-next door guests partying until after 11 when I was jet lagged and tired. Tried to call the front desk but the phone was dead. Replaced the next day. Heating and fan controls in the room did not work. Surges of hot water while taking a shower.

The hotel is good, however for 4stars it needs to be really spotless or cleaner. The shower gel is missing, but its not a big deal. There were no tea bags since i drink only tea maybe that's way i spotted:) Again no complaints;)
The location is good.
All in all we enjoyed staying, would definitely recommend the hotel and come back again. The staff were very friendly.

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Good selection at breakfast, although no change during 12 days! Approx 25 min walk into town centre but regular bus service. Not too much nearby but was very handy for work, as it’s situated close to industrial estate.

Very clean room, pillows were comfortable, bathroom was modern and clean, loved the view from the window. Receptionist was nice. Very pleased with our stay in Linz at this hotel. Price was good considering we booked half an hour before we arrived at the hotel.

We didn't like the location- it is a bit out of town. Easy bus transfer to city centre and main train station though.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel as you could picture it.
The building by itself is not outstanding, the staff is ok.
the carpet floor in our room is badly stained, the fridge is not working (except for the light). The door is not working properly, we had to slam it loudly quite a few times in order to close it.
As for the the bathroom, the shower glass door really needs to plastic joint as the water easily goes out. The layout of the bathroom is a bit strange...
The TV needs to be replace asap.... very old equipment, your eyes will burn after a few minutes, the screen definition is from another world.
We did not get to try the breakfast.
The location is ok. Some construction works are on going, a very busy road is close by but this is not something that the hotel can control.
Definitely not a 4 stars. An average 3 stars.

Hotel in the outskirts of Linz, near the Donau. We checked in 10.15 pm, after long hours in the car. Check in went fast, friendly staff. We were very hungry when we arrived, but dissapointingly they could not help us, not even warm up a pizza ! We went to the bar for a beer, and we saw the cook walking around up there. Room was ok, bed ok, small bathroom

New property. Sparkling clean. Modern finishes, Reception staff pleasant. Location is on river but is next to a big construction zone as a big overpass is being built. Accessibility OK if you have a car. Not very walkable for sightseeing. No restaurants in vicinity. A bus stop is 400 mt away. Website should give directions for travellers arriving by train or bus ie. take bus 27 going to Fernie*** and get off at ****. We spent more than 2 hours trying to find our way there. A very bad start to our stay

The hotel is located next to highways within an industrial area. The atmosphere is very impersonal.
In the adjacent room were noisy male people with eastern dialect who jumped from the table, that our bed was dangling until 4 in the morning. They smoked an had the window opend, so that we could not open the window. We decided not to call someone from the hotel because of getting in trouble with those neighbours.
In our room on the no smoking floor the smoke detector was wrapped in plastic.
We saw some strange people in the hotel and were glad, do leave the hotel.

near the motorway, quite a walk into town, nothing in the exact area.. restaurant has good views over the river. rooms (refurbished) were nice, showers were good, but only one english tv channel (usa news). parking cost extra, but limited free kerb parking nearby. nice staff. comfy firm bed. ideal business stopover.

Nice hotel, clean, good and quit location, close to the Danube river. By walk besides the Danube river it takes aprox. 20 min. to get to the city centre. Breakfast was awesome and tasty, staff very polite. I can recommended this hotel. We were satisfied, we will come back to this hotel again.

Stayed here for one night while cycling along the Donau. Hotel and room were in good condition and with good shower and WiFi reception. Breakfast was avilable for 16E, a bit too pricey. Did not have a good sleep as the room was hot and stuffy and with the window open there was a tremendous amount of traffic noise from a busy highway. Twenty minute walk to historic centre and shopping. Right on the Donau Radweg.
