Good location out of London onto M25

The hotel is clean and looks well maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the dining room staff delightful. The only downside for us as a family were the reception desk and the person who was in charge of seating people for breakfast. They were in one word "offhand" On arrival the check in staff could not have been more disinterested. In fact they were so absorbed in having a personal conversation I wondered if we had the right hotel. They gave us no information regarding the facilities or what time breakfast was served. The next morning my family and I came down for breakfast and I asked if it could be added to the room seeing as I had not prepaid. The reply I received was "I don't know, you should have checked that" despite me asking if she could check this for me, followed by, "if you want breakfast it's £16.95 each" in a very abrupt manner, despite the fact that I had two children in tow whom supposedly I do not have to pay for. I told her that it seemed a bit expensive to which she replied, "well if you don't want breakfast you can go elsewhere" in an extremely sarcastic tone, before turning her back on me as if she had other things to do. I was in utter disbelief at the sheer rudeness of this young girl. My family and I decided we would leave as I had no intention of interacting with this girl again. I would say I'd stay here again but the truth is there is a lot to be said about getting the right staff and for that reason I won't be returning.

Was clean and quiet. Room was a bit small.Overall it was good for what i needed. Didnt spend a lot of time at hotel. Staff friendly and attentive.

Convenient location and quiet stay

For a Holiday inn hotel this property is not well maintained and the price for this was extortionate, breakfast is average but very expensive and also cleaning needs to done properly. Toilet was not cleaned. The only bonus was staff were great and friendly. Won’t consider coming back.

We stayed at the hotel for my wife’s birthday. They arranged some well drinks which was well appreciated. This is newly built hotel, very clean and friendly staff. I was surprised not to see eggs as breakfast option, given that I don’t eat pork.

Really lovely hotel, would 100% stay again. Great location, really close to Old MacDonald’s farm and just off M25. Staff were all so lovely and helpful. Rooms great for families. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Even got a little welcome gift bag for the kids which they loved and a free drink or desert voucher!

Room very dated and needs a refurbishment. Tiles in bathroom cracked, stains on the woodwork in bathroom, air con very noisy along with the fridge in the room. The checkin was great, lovely friendly people. The checkout not so good, she behaved like she was doing me a favour checking me out. No Good Morning how was your stay? Really miserable check out. Also you have to pay £8 to park there. Where else am I going to park staying at a hotel?

Staff

Adjacent room had a party at 2am. There was a connecting door between rooms so noise transmitted. When we complained it took half an hour to get our neighbours to quiet down. I reported our problems to reception who only said sorry! Be careful about staying here on a weekend!

I’m going to be a little bit more active in this space

Our stay was fine and the breakfast is very good. However we were very disappointed to have to pay for parking. I understand that the hotel may wish to charge non-residents, but I think it's unreasonable to charge residents £8 to park (also considering our stay was about 12 hours).

Everything about the stay was good. Staff exceptional. Only thing I didn't receive a receipt for payment because I booked through hotels.com. I need the receipt for expenses and did ask to pay at hotel when booking

Room service was excellent

There were no wash cloth. Location too many traffic disturbing at night.

Comfortable, clean, convenient. Breakfast buffet was small but good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great stay.

I loved this hotel. Went for a course i attended. The staff are amazing, the restaurant, the health centre and the room! Plus free parking! I actually extended my stay as I didn't want to leave ! I cannot fault it in fact I am back there this weekend 🙂 It has such a great ambience and amazing conference rooms

All Expedia rooms for this hotel show rooms have a bath which not the case as all have just a shower.

Had a room in the quiet zone and it really was quiet, excellent. Staff great. Enjoyed the stay.

Manager was amazing, so attentive, knew all her guests, was always on hand for anything anyone wanted. Other staff really helpful. Lovely atmosphere in the bar/lounge. Nice pool. Lots of parking.

Hotel was fine. Nice pool, steam room. The gym was a bit small. Staff were excellent.

The hotel is bit dated , there is a overhanging smell of old carpets.

An amazing comfortable bed and pillows made for such a wonderful nights sleep! Great in-room facitilies.

Having to pay for car parking when staying at the hotel . RIP OFF

Good location, straight off the M25 and around 30 minutes to Stratford/East London. Ample parking but make sure notify the staff as it’s ANPR controlled, 50% off for residents. The staff are super friendly every time I stay here and the hotel is definitely worth the money, good value for an IHG hotel.

Over all it was very good but when we check in the lady on reception was not helpful at all. I gave her a cake to put in the room before we check in she said it will be done(i planned a surprise stay for my daughter’s birthday). When we came cake was still on the reception and she said she is on her own however a waiter from the restaurant was there too. When we were in the room then the same waiter came with the cake.
