Granted it was the only available and cheapest motel in town. Just stopping over on my way to Carlsbad. It's an oil-town with mostly oil workers living in the motels. When I arrived the clerk wasn't there for 10-20 minutes, the guy was very friendly and professional after showing up. When I left in the morning a dude had been waiting longer to check in after a night shift. The place was fine, but missing some basics like tissues and some toiletries. Broken chair, the door was hard to open and pretty loud; I could see there was friction tearing at the door frame, many of the satellite TV channels didn't load properly so channels were limited, the bluish task lights were a bit charring for lighting a room, and some other minor things I can't recall. It was ok for a night stop-over, but not good. I liked that it had a fridge/freezer unit, the bed was decent, and internet worked well.

Staff failed to mention they were doing construction on the roof at 7 am .. woke up to loud noises. Had we’d known we would’ve went elsewhere

Everything was good, except that none of the ice machines worked.

Not sure how this hotel had a good rating...very outdated...needs a lot of work...woke up to a cockroach in the floor....i would upload the pic i took but the app wont let me

Nice, quiet, front desk was really helpful

The staff overall was very nice. Looks like the room was recently renovated and it was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Definitely staying here on my next visit to pecos. The only problem i had is that they no longer have a laundry room but there's a coin wash 4 minutes down the road. That bit was very inconvenient but the room was great. Shower works but could be better.

This motel 6 offers great value for your money. The room rates were reasonable, making it an excellent choice for travelers on a budget. Staff at Motel 6 Pecos were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made check-in and check-out hassle-free which you seem to miss at similar establishment. Overall, my stay exceeded my expectations. It's a clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly option with a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. I would highly recommend it to anyone passing through or visiting the area.

Door was hard to shut,people smoking weed outside didn’t come to clean room or bring necessities did have to go to front desk to ask for items. Lady came to room to ask if I was Checking out or extending even though it wasn’t my check out date

Made reservations for Quality Inn Pecos. Followed directions and the Quality Inn Pecos is NO LONGER THERE. It has become a Motel 6. Its open so went to check in. No reservations and the building is in the middle of remodel. Room had STRONG oder of paint. Absolutely NO amenities except 1 bar of soap and ice bucket. Trip hazards in the room. Construction debris all over. After 1 hour i couldn't take any longer. Contacted Expedia and they were fantastic. Got my original Quality Inn reservations transferred to another motel.

They are remodeling, so construction workers woke us up early. New rooms are great!

They hotel was right in the middle of a renovation. It will be quite nice once it’s complete. I understand these guys tried to work as late as they could to try and beat the heat but we woke from a lot of hammering, yelling in Spanish. But overall staff was nice and once it’s completed it will be much better. If my husband is working in the area again I would stay again.

Arrived at 3am and departed at 7am. The bed was clean and comfy

Very dirty. Superficial cleaning. A mouse crawled on to my bed and on top of me. Put in a room in an are that was being fumigated. Mattresses stacked in hall way. One had dried blood stains on it.

Got 4 rooms & 2 of the 4 rooms doors would not lock so my guys had to sleep with doors unlocked

The property is old and smells bad. The parking lot has giant holes, the carpet is very dirty and there’s bugs likes knats, at the front desk.

The parking lot was dark, muddy and the room wasn't ready upon our a arrived at 630PM.

This property should be closed, the pool has been empty for 5 yrs. The grounds have years of un kept dog shut everywhere, the curtains are old, torn, and hanging off windows. This place looks like a third world refugee camp

This hotel needs a huge facelift. The Lobby was ok but the carpeting throughout was worn and looked dirty. The room I had was missing a shower curtain, the toilet paper roll was broken, the toilet felt like it was going to tip over. No breakfast because the delivery truck did not come. I would not stay here again.

Very outdated and dirty. Grounds around facility needs major upgrade. Rooms not properly cleaned. Black hair was everywhere. We were told not putting out breakfast today only coffee. If I could have canceled I would have.

The condition of the hotel was terrible, from the parking lot pavement to the room the property is in need of a major remodel.

I find it out there was no modern cell phone charger available in the room. And there is a big crack at the corner by the door other than that the room was good.

Mr. Burt, I'm aware that you don't know me, but I really would like to draw your attention to the deplorable state that your hotel is in. I was not exaggerating the details of the deferred maintenance of the common areas or of my own room. It was grossly dirty. I paid $133.00 to stay one night at your hotel. I thought at the time, it was a little more than the budget hotels in the area were charging and therefore, would be a little nicer. I was disappointed. I will not be staying at any Quality Inn in the future. The employee that was running the reception desk that night was unkempt (dirty shirt) and unproffesional. When I walked in, she was berating someone out of eyesight with many expletives. Loudly. She only came out when another woman at the end of the counter (her friend?) called to her. This friend was drinking a can of beer through a straw. After I checked in, this employee was too bothered to direct me to my room. She waved her arm and said that my room was on the ground floor "around the back". So I drove around the complex and then walked around several times before I found it. A map would have been helpful. I really don't think much will change, but I'm attaching several photos anyway. Thank you for responding to my email

It was close to my work

Room was clean and cold. Ice machine didnt work on top floor. Phone in room had no cord to call front desk. Carpets in halls dirty and stained looked run down. It was nice at one time. Drug dealers in hallway and in parking lot. Felt unsafe would not stay there again

Headboards were smudged. Walls had stains. Lamp shade was broken. The pool was dirty. We found a dead bird in the pool. Public restrooms were dirty and not maintained. Lights out.
