Amazingly this Hotel is in the heart of Paris and close to everything I would rate everything 5* until I tried there food in the restaurant I recommend yo save your money and eat outside. When I first walked in I could see the name Christian apparently he’s the head chef of this beautiful hotel, by the way I don’t think anyone eats there as the restaurant was always empty so that’s a big sign I’m still trying to figure out why the food is so expensive.

The stay was absolutely amazing. The hotel was so comfortable we could not have asked for more. The staff was professional and accommodating. The concierge Analiese was especially helpful, she is a total delight. Everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant staff to the bartenders and the cleaning staff were all simply amazing. I will definitely stay at the Sofitel Arc de Triomphe again. Merci

Nice clean hotel, nice location, competent professional staff. My concern is hotels.com listed my room as having a “city view”. Having a city view and a 5 star rating were my two primary criteria when I was searching for a room in Paris to celebrate our 40th anniversary. When I checked in, I was given a 5th floor room. I questioned the staff….. Are you sure I will have a city view from the 5th floor? I was told this room did not have a city view. I let them know I booked a room with city view, they looked puzzled. I was then shown 5 rooms. Turns out none of the rooms in this hotel have a city view. All the rooms look out directly to the street and directly at the apartment building across the street. Charming building, but in no way shape or form is it a city view. Calling it a street view would be far more accurate and defendable. I then suggested to the staff that in light of the fact that I reserved a city view room and they couldn’t provide one, perhaps they could make it right by giving me an upgrade. That wasn’t going to happen without additional charges. When I was searching for a Paris hotel, I eliminated many hotels that checked the rest of my boxes but did not have city views, even though they had better nightly rates. In short, if you are looking for a hotel with a city view, this is not the place for you. I’ve brought this incorrect property attribute to the attention of both Sofitel and hotels.com, it will be interesting to see if the listing gets revised.

The hotel cleanliness and standard was amazing, the turndown service is a nice touch after being out all day. The breakfast was lovely and the cappuccino’s were good. Staff were willing to go that extra mile and assist when they didn’t know the answer. Great hotel, great staff, clean, fresh and immaculate.

We stayed in similar hotels with great amenities but what made the difference for us was the staff. They were professional, yet personable, paid attention to every detail and accommodated us at every turn. I will return to Sofitel Arc de Triomphe whenever I go to Paris in the future

What we liked most about Sofitel Arc de Triomphe was the staff and that's pretty much it. We were staying during fashion week and the hotel was fully booked. The first night we got there we were starving and wanted to order room service since it was around 9-10pm all they had available was this horrible microwaved pizza. We later learned they hardly have any staff at night. There was one guy downstairs (don't remember his name) but he basically did everything! While he was great and extremely helpful it's a shame that Sofitel doesn't staff better knowing the hotel is fully booked and busy during fashion week of all times. They are lucky to have such wonderful staff members that work so tirelessly to accommodate so many guests. Their beds are also awful!! I hardly got any sleep in 5 days. Worst bed I've ever slept on in any hotel around the world. While I am grateful for the wonderful guest service staff, we will never be staying at Sofitel Paris again.

The hotel was in a great location, next to le champs elysees and l’arc de triomphe. The hotel was pristine and the rooms were beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. We will return!

I was very skeptical to book this property, as I saw some negative reviews. We went at 2 PM to the hotel. they gave rooms promptly. After using one of the rooms for taking the shower we complained that it was uncomfortable (no shower, tub bath) room, immediately they changed it. They cleaned rooms everyday, Rooms are good size. Room cleaning is good too. If they miss something, they will replace right away We did not eat at the restaurant so I cant comment. Another interesting thing that happened. Yesterday at 10 pm after walking for several miles I was just relaxing in the lobby. A middle eastern lady was upset that she did not get the right rooms (she says she ordered the right rooms), she was raising the voice. Goergietta was on duty and fixed the to the customer satisfaction in no time. The middle eastern lady was very happy as she got free upgrade. We stayed for one week nothing to complain. All compliments. This hotel is about 5 to 10 mnt walking distance to major shopping centers. The gate keepers are good, reception is good, management is good and helpful. We are 4 people with 8 suitcases and they arranged a big taxi at 5 AM in the morning. If I go to Paris again this is my hotel where we are going to stay. MY family enjoyed a lot top.

I thought the location was excellent, it was close to many tourists areas (Champs, Arc, etc) but was on a nice quiet, safe street. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and they all spoke English which was a huge relief. The shower and bath tub were awesome too. I would definitely stay there again.

They allowed me to check-in early. The breakfasts were excellent though a bit pricey. The rooms were beautifully furnished. The hotel was in an excellent location.

Pleasant experience at this hotel. The area is very quiet despite being just a short walk of Arc de Triomphe and the Avenue des Champs-Elysees. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but well appointed. Ordered room service- a salad, pizza and deviled eggs, which left a lot to be desired. The chocolate dessert, welcome drink, and tea and coffee selections in the room and in the lobby made up for the lack of salt in the food. Overall an enjoyable stay and would stay here again.

Amazing greeting, and Anastasia made our experience exceptional for my boyfriend. It is his birthday and when we entered the room there were macaroons, rose petals, a picture of us, and balloons that said “Happy Birthday “!!!! Amazing, that is what hospitality is all about going above and beyond! We will be back, what an amazing experience!!!
