In the middle of nowhere oiutside Capital Reef, which itself is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel more than fit the bill and was convenient to the park. The Subway in a convenience store for a gas station was seemingly the only show in town. Other than the steak house that rented stage coach wagons for rooms...... which might have been fun in ny younger days

It was a last minute booking and it looked the most convenient and clean. First engagement with gentleman staff was friendly and very welcoming. Room was outdated but overall had a comfortable stay. Had refrigerator and microwave so really convenient. A very small town with limited restaurants, will have to drive out atleast 15-30 miles to have more accessibility to other stores or restaurants. But would stay again if passing by the area.

This hotel is older and well used however it was clean. It’s very close to Capital Reef and it fit my large family.

Our room was small but clean. They are working on renovating. So some things were brand new and others were a little more worn.

Hotel staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast was satisfactory. Hotel was older with mattresses that needed an upgrade and older A/C units. Rooms were clean. No elevator but hotel only had two floors.

Clean and quiet room. Requested first floor and they accommodated us. Note there is no elevator. Front desk person friendly. Continental breakfast is good. Hotel close to Capitol Reef NP.

Room next to lobby, ice machine, vending and pool which all contributed to noise especially the lobby. The room smelled terrible and no amount of fan changed it.

The local Apple Days parade on July 6 was fascinating.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic. All of the beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in, including the pullout couch bed. The facility is a little bit dated, and while we were there, there was a food-type of smell in the hallways. But my kids loved the pool, everything worked just fine. The continental breakfast was delicious. I've had bad experiences at Days Inns before, but this one was great!

Great Stay

The check in clerk was very friendly and helpful. The parking was a little weird with just a dead end and not much room to turn around in one end of the hotel. It was very convenient for trips into Capitol Reef National Park. The guest laundry facilities were pretty good.

The on-line check-in made it easy once I got to the hotel. I just told them who I was and I got the keys. We were able to make it to the restaurant nextdoor before they closed. The employee at the front desk was kind and very helpful.

It was awful!!! I have come off and on staying here since the opening off this location and I am pretty sure the beds are the originals. The last 2 nights I had been woken up 3 times to a fire alarm blaring in my ears. Friday they had a blackout across the county so I just thought that was the one then. Sat night it rang again and much longer than the other, which none of the staff were helping at all. With all the fire alarms there was never any emergency services attending to it either. Turns out there it must be an on going issue because the alarm is silenced to the emergency services. A few of the tired, angry people called 911 for them to check for us to have peace of mind there is no fire or carbon monoxide (without the help of the staff). Also the fire alarm was turned off manually or would have kept going. I will never stay there again this is not my first bad experience but had been a bit so thought it’d be okay….NEVER AGAIN and will tell people the same.

Our stay was awful. First night the power was out (but not the fault of the hotel). At 5:30 am on June 22nd the fire alarm went off and there was no one at the front desk or anywhere to be found. The alarm stopped in its own some how. Still no staff to be found. The next evening at 11:30 pm, the fire alarm goes off again and it wouldn’t stop. Again, no staff to be found anywhere. Another patron tried calling the fire department and had no answer. Finally after 20 minutes the manager shows up with no explanation nor any desire to have the fire department come check it out. A patron had to call 911 get the fire department to come and our young children were terrified. The cause of the alarm to go off was something was having issues in the pool area. The fact that no staff was around was extremely concerning and my children didn’t want to stay any longer but we had no other option. Thankfully the fire department gave the clear and we were able to go back to our rooms but it took quite a bit of time to get our kids to settle enough to go to sleep.

Hotel staff were very friendly but the hotel itself needs a remodel. Carpet in our room was very dirty and the bathroom definitely needed new wallpaper. Pool did not look very appealing either

For the money it was a poor choice. Loud in-room air conditioner, décor was mismatched. Not up to standard at other Days Inn I've been to. Seems like they are in transition from one franchise to another. I would stay somewhere else next time, especially with the dollars involved.
