Dated and need bathroom redone toilet wouldn’t flush correctly and shower kinda gross. Breakfast was not worth bothering with.

The quality of the property was not commensurate with the amount we paid. Breakfast was subpar and lacking the quality normal for a Comfort Inn.

A lot of fixes to be done. Bathroom had no exhaust fan, only 1 of 2 lights work, extremely musty smelling. Toilet was in poor shape. Felt like it wasn't even bolted to floor. Shower was faulty, only about half of water was going through the shower head, the rest was going through the faucet part. Sink would hardly drain. Microwave inside was dirty, refrigerator was dirty, freezer had so much ice you couldn't put anything in it. Carpeted floor seemed to be vacuumed but had several stains on it. Lots of dust everywhere. Got locked out of the room well before checkout time. Downstairs is really strong pool chlorine smell.

Location, cleanliness, A/C worked well

1st room we were given the toilet did not flush and one of the beds was extremely slanted. We switched rooms and the 2nd room did not have any air conditioning. 3rd room was fine.

Wonderful place.

Don’t waste your money. Due to travel delays, we checked into hotel at 1am. The hotel smelled terrible and our room was 80 degrees. Had to put cold washcloths on my kids to get them to sleep. Got to breakfast 1hr before it ended and there was nothing left (have pictures). Bold coffee was brown water. We travel a lot for sports and I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

No one expects Comfort Inn to be fancy, but it should be clean. The carpet was poorly vacuumed, and the chair in our room was filthy. Flooring was peeling away by the air conditioning unit to reveal mold. Everything is shabby and badly in need of cleaning and/or replacing. I gave 2 stars for a convenient and safe location.

Overall, it was clean and well-managed. Our family stayed less than 24 hours, so really not much else to report. The beds were comfortable and we had a decent room.

Dirty & Run Down. Really Dirty. The facility is run down and simply dirty throughout. The photographs online are deceptive and not representative of the current state of the facility. My first clue was the common hall, followed by the room where there were stains in the carpet, the toilet not fully cleaned, nor the sink. The iron warmed but did not fully work, the ironing board was torn and more. The dining area is awful. Over the two days there the tables were only wiped down once I think, if that, as I constantly saw that no one cleaned up after breakfast and the table tops were dirty when we arrived at the hotel the first night and only cleaned late the next night. Food that I saw left in the waffle maker was there the next day and many items were not restocked which is a shame for such a small kitchen. We stayed 2 nights and after stopping back in on the first day I asked for the room to be serviced as it had not been by 1.00. We returned around 11.00 that night and it had never been serviced. I received an apology and an offer for a new room but that late we dealt with it and I feel housekeeping is such a basic that I should not have to ask for. I gave this a poor rating overall because of the location having stayed in Indiana previously where I will return to if the Hampton Inn is full. I gambled on the Comfort Inn, lost, and recommend you do not gamble on it either.

The hotel was not clean. Your feet will be black after walking on the carpet from the bathroom. It is an older hotel in a college town so not much was expected. Breakfast was just cereal and muffins. We stay at a lot of hotels and this one is one we will not be visiting again.

The rooms were a complete mess. The tub was so nasty with buildup dirt and soap scum that I was able to scrape it off. When I brought it to management attention I was told it was because I used a hard object and it wouldn’t have came off with a cloth and then refused to clean it. I had even offered to clean it with their cleaning supplies and was told “no”. The mirrors had dirt and hand prints over them and the thermostat wouldn’t properly work. If you can afford this place, by all means do so.

Paint was peeling off wall in bathroom, sheet had crusty spot, ac made carpet wet, orange juice no good and turning brown. Staff was very nice

Room was clean and nice. Was told to pull wood open up in an hour. It never did open up. Got up to eat. Breakfast was terrible. Ended up going to Bob Evans next-door. The room was very nice and comfortable, but I’m sure there’s better choices in town.

The staff has no idea how to properly manage a hotel property. They are unprofessional and are not able to run a hotel property. One day the fire alarms went off, we all evacuated, fire trucks and personnel came. The fire crew determined there was something faulty and gave hotel personnel instructions on what they need to do to resolve it. They did not appear to care that it disrupted guests and they never apologized or offered any refund etc.

It was graduation weekend so prices were 3 times the normal rate. Our room was dirty, even the towels. Most amenities were out of order.. pool, several entry doors. Their free breakfast was sour milk and bagels that were days beyond stale. The manager dismissed our concerns and numerous guests. This place needs to be condemned.

Very nice and comfortable

It just needs a general refurbishment. Everything is pretty old and not that clean. Beds were comfortable and it was very convenient to Miami U.

Good place to sleep close to campus. Fitness Center has 2 cardio and a cable machine. Needs updating but again, if you're just sleeping it's solid. Quiet and ample parking. Just on edge of Oxford next to DQ.

No hot water all weekend! And no signs of that changing any time soon!

There aren’t very many hotels in Oxford, so they don’t have to do a lot of work to get customers. The towel rack in the shower was defective. The hot water was lukewarm due to some problem.

Property is tired, lots of damage and unclean areas. Water heater was not working = cold showers. Pool also not in operating condition. Way overpriced.

This property was less than desirable. Hot water did not work. Our room was changed due to this issue and then there was on water pressure in that room. The pool was not open. There was actually black tarp coving all the windows covering the entire area. There were boxes in the hallways. A mattress was stored in the guest laundry on the second floor. The phones in the rooms did not work. Overall this was lesson learned to never stay at a comfort inn ever again.

There was no hot water. Never mentioned to us but an old sign posted in the elevator. Lobby smelled weird.

This hotel is old and very run down. There was not hot water at all and the shower barely worked. Water stains on the ceiling and rust stains in the tub. When we arrived the tub was wet because the water kept dripping. Don’t even attempt to stay here!
