The room was not cleaned and there was hair everywhere. The so called clean towels also had hair and stains on them. The coffee machine did not work in the room. The breakfast options were terrible.

This hotel was great! The only complaints we have is that it backs to a freeway, so you hear a lot of that. The towels are crap - definitely need new towels... and we were on the 2nd floor and one of the nights you could hear people on the 3rd floor walking around for HOURS! Like from 11-3am and it was frustrating because it kept us up. But other than that, lots of good places to eat around there. Friendly people and we felt very safe walking around the area.

The location of the hotel was ideal as we heading back to the airport and only needed a couple of nights stay.
The lobby is quite spacious and the receptionist was very good and very friendly. He explained hotel procedures, and assisted with additional questions.
The room was very dark, dated. We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the car park so away from the traffic on the other side of the building.
The fire exit was jammed open with a piece of paper on the day we left. Bizarrely.
The room was extremely large, with a walk in room which had additional storage and a wardrobe.
The main bedroom was dated and had some damage to the curtain rail preventing the curtains from closing properly. Above the sink there was evidence of some recent plastering (not sure what had happened)
The headboard had shall we say seen some action! And the bed / mattress didn’t push up to it so the pillows kept falling off the bed.
The shower was over the bath which is fine, just be careful using the tub as it was a little flexible and slippy.
The door to the room didn’t feel like it was locking properly and it didn’t offer me peace of mind regarding security.
Breakfast room was too small and always overcrowded. The selection was good, just took a little patience to get some food.
The hotel colour scheme is brown. It doesn’t work. It makes the place seem very gloomy and depressing.
Location is great and for an overnight stay it’s fine, just that it’s ok.

Elevator broken had to use stairs, stairs dirty was put in area where several rooms had workers renovating them, hole in floor near vending machine not far from our room spooky.

The elevator was not working and I have knee issues. I had booked 2 room's. First room on 2nd floor had dust on side table. Got the room changed. No ironing table, towels were small, low showerhead, tub was moving close to drain and thin towels didn't dry the whole body. Bathroom floor was dirty. 2nd room, no ironing board, no hangers for clothes, no cups for coffee and room had smell. Had to request every small thing. Its a dirty place under construction. Only 1st floor lobby looks decent. Don't go by the reviews. One of my worst experiences. I didn't have choice because needed 2 rooms in the same hotel.

I have stayed at this location multiple times over the past 10 years, always when I visit the area from out of town. I like the location, the staff is always great, rooms comfortable, and the breakfast is a nice touch to start the day.
I stayed there for 4 nights, starting 7/8. I generally look for a hotel where I can sleep, not hang out all day, so I usually overlook smaller issues there, like elevators not working, room keys failing multiple times, broken lights, etc. Every morning I woke up, I noticed that I had more and more bug bites all over my body, including areas that are always covered by my pants, except for when I shower, or am in bed. When I pulled back the blankets, there were a bunch of black things on the sheet. I quietly mentioned the issue and the front desk person was super kind, and he also gave me the manager’s name and contact info and encouraged me to reach out to him. When I got home and my husband saw the insane number of bites, he highly suggested that also mentioned that I reach out to the manager, with pictures.
I’m generally not one to write a poor review, but I did reach out to the manager after I got home on 7/12, and he didn’t even have the decency to respond to me. After being bitten up that bad, woken up by something crawling on my butt on Thursday night, and seeing all the black specks on the sheets, it seems the professional thing to do would be to at least acknowledge the guest’s complaint, not completely ignore them. I won't be back.

This place is terrible all they care about is a guidance counselor from Township School District 214 who’s Korean making food and eggs with a food class with a camera with academic concerns with El Salvador Carranza and Kaszor looking for me after woodworking with Richard Hyde without Jordan and Mary Anne jahrling with law and individual with Jodi blazekand detective gombar at the Arlington Heights police department not offering open first study hall and doing Omni with Justin Vick with the property custodian and retired athletic head bob huber and not doing advanced activities and a normal class and getting Steve messers signature without chipotle glenview coming at me from Zion to rolling meadows high school to be a mustang with Thomas scotese screaming “Steve Kim” at wheeling high school on a speaker.

second shift manager was polite and responsive to my concerns. The elevator was down, lock/keys for my room were not working consistently. In the morning the shower did not function. The morning breakfast was hot and tasted good. If it was not for the 2nd shift manager responding quickly and other local hotels were full. I would have checked out immediately and gone elsewhere.

I booked this hotel after going to the wyndham niagara falls by the river. which I thought it was above average for the type of hotel., so I booked this one. I was very surprised of the run down property.

The gentleman that greeted us and registered. It was easy and quick. He mentioned the breakfast that was offered and restaurants around the area. Very courteous and friendly.

I love that it was close to a beach. However, the lights went out, the hallway smells, the elevator doesn’t work, One of the mornings breakfast wasn’t available. The Hotel needs a lot of improvement. Overall we stayed there for 3 days and we moved on.

This was the worst experience at this hotel where we have stayed a few times in recent years. The room on the second floor was not very clean especially floor was filthy and sticky. Bathroom fan didn’t work at all. We had a blackout for about 5 hours but the management was not very prompt in responding and communicating the situation. Although in a very convenient location, we may have to find an alternative for next visits.

The elevator was Out of Order for the entire 3 nights we were there, and our room was on the 3rd floor. The stairways and hallways were dirty, stained by something, and the TV would not respond to the remote in the room. The beds were made without having the sheets and pillowcases changed. We had to ask for new ones and put them on ourselves. As we were checking out, several fire-fighters came in, responding to some fire issues by a curling iron, somewhere in the building. No one heard any fire alarm, and we were all surprised when the fire-fighters showed up.
Other than these, the staff (those who spoke some English) were very accommodating and helpful.

This is the best hotel so far, during this year we being traveling like twice a month here to Chicago from Wisconsin, and this is the best hotel clean wise, costumer service Mitchel at the desk very nice and professional, rooms smells clean, friendly people working here, good breakfast 😀

There were roaches in the room and elevator was never working. Room service was not provided. Key cards are not working even after I complained multiple times and I had to walk through stairs up and down because their elevator never work.
Staff doesn’t seem to be care or help.
You can easily get better hotel options than staying here.
Overall, I would never stay and recommend anyone this hotel.

We stayed 5 days and 4 nights. Following day on our second night we discovered we have a lot of BEDBUG BITES in our legs and torso. We complained to the reception if we can have the sheets changed and beds cleaned. They told us they wont do housekeeping unless we made the request 24 hours prior. We showed them the bites and then he looked horrified too promised to have the room cleaned that day. We came back very late following night and found out our room was never touched and cleaned. their excuse was there was a mistake and cleaned thr wrong room. .so we complained again and they let moved to the 3rd floor. The prblem was their service elevators were down and there is no way we can carry our luggages 3 storeys up. And no one can assist us. To make the story short they just gave us clean sheets and we were the ones changing the bedsheets etc. Following day, we again requested to be moved to another room but couldnt bec the elevators were still out of order. Our fourth night was more diaastorus because the electric power shut off twice. No lights and no Airconditioning on an 85 degrees weather. This hotek needs to be inspected by sanitation or whatever agency there is in Chicago that oversees the conditions of such kind of hotels.

Absolutely nothing. The hotel put us on the 3rd floor and the elevator was inoperable and I have an injury to my back and hip. As a result I have limited mobility

The property was in a terrible condition. Ceilings in the walkway were missing panels. Inside the room, everything is old and need a major renovations in the room and bathroom. Breakfast was terrible and missing major items like toast, no creamer for coffee. Everything was wrong. Do not recommend at all.
