The hotel clerk was extremely friendly and really tried to be helpful. The room/shower/kitchen were clean, but an "extended-stay" facility is supposed to provide plates, silverware, cups, glasses, dish soap, dish rags, wash cloths, etc. The clerk said he had "some" of that stuff, but much of it was still in rooms, they are short staffed, and some of it was stolen and it is the end of their budget year. Consequently, they did not have the soap and the dish rags and wash cloths.
As we were checking out, the owner/manager of the hotel promised us a 20% discount on our next visit for an apology for the inconvenience of the missing items. This was very generous, if we ever decide to return.

This stay was not as good as I expected, the lobby entrance was dark and not inviting. However, the hallways were well lit. My room did not feel clean when I entered, but was not dirty, just well used. Overall, the stay was average, I would have preferred a more up to date modern hotel. The continental breakfast was poor at best, just package muffins and coffee and breakfast bars. I would not necessarily stay here again.

Beautiful suite with full kitchen, but no washcloths and only 2 bath towels.

The front desk lady named Becky was wonderful and very helpful, very accommodating. The manager, William is very accommodating too and very friendly and helpful. We well be coming back on our next trip.

This hotel is old and needs updating. Especially carpet in the rooms. Disgusting! Crushed food in carpet. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

We booked 4 rooms that were said to sleep 4 people with a queen size bed and a pullout couch. There was no bedding for the pullouts. I called to ask if there were blankets and was told that they only have sheets. I went to the front desk and was not offered an apology or other solutions. When I questioned further, I was told they had quilts but didn’t have enough for all the rooms and they turned out to be sheets as well. I asked for pillows and they said they didn’t have any. I questioned how a room could sleep 4 people without a pillow for each person. She then said she would look for pillows and found 3 pillows so still 5 people didnt have a pillow. She explained that she just started work a couple hours ago but never apologized or offered solutions.

Easy check-in, nice and welcoming staff, easy parking, room was a little beat-up looking--you can tell it's an older property in need of remodel--but it was perfectly clean and for the price, great!

The room smelled terrible like smoke as soon as you opened the door cigarette smoke! It was a non smoking room we canceled our stay ! I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here!

The halls had an unappealing smell, but the room was fine. I asked for a late check out, 1 hour, and was told no problem, but not it would be an additional charge.

For the price we expected the normal amenities to be in the room instead of having to request them. The pool has been filled in and is no longer there. The breakfast was sub par. There was only bare options of instant oatmeal,muffins and coffee. Really expected more for the price of the stay.js

I and my mother had a great stay at this hotel while we were back in town for my aunts celebration of life get together. The front desk fellow was super nice let me borrow a miniature fan because I had forgotten mine , and also helped me find my aunts address because I couldn’t find my phone which I had left in my aunts vehicle. I am very appreciative of that. Thank you for all your hospitality!

Extended Stay America Suites Toledo Maumee is good value for the money. The furnishings are dated and in some cases a little worn, but the room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. As others have commented, the "free breakfast" is not worth eating. So just don't build that into your calculations. If you're planning to use the kitchen, you need to ask for the dishes and other supplies. If you plan to cook, you'll need to bring or buy cooking utensils.
