This clean hotel is a couple of miles from the airport with large rooms and a great breakfast. Good bed and nice people. A restaurant right next door is open late into the evening. The internet is almost useless, though.

The Best Western Hotel was my hurricane evacuation destination. The property was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The location is central to restaurants and shopping. The room was clean; bed was very comfortable; and breakfasts offered both hot and cold items for everyone. My only negative was housekeeping was supposed to have been offered every two days. I had to speak to the front desk about not getting housekeeping, and it was provided on Day 3. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!

The locating is not far from a lot of the attractions in Destin which was great. The only problem I had was a dirty bathroom and they didn’t have any working coolers in the lobby. It could use a little remodeling, my opinion!

We stayed 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. I went to the front desk to retrieve clean towels Friday night the manager on duty was semi apologetic—but basically said they were just too busy to clean all the rooms that day. We confirmed an 11:00 am time for cleaning on Saturday, the housekeeper came at 10:00am, said they would come back but never did.
When I went back Saturday night to ask for cleaning services we were told they had already left for the day and there would be no cleaning service during our stay. I asked for our room to be discounted since we did not receive all the customary services, the manager on duty called me later that night again making excuses and became very confrontational at which point I hung up the phone. So I stayed 3 nights in an overpriced room with no clean towels, minimal toiletries and a hideous mildew smell.

The manager on duty was amazing. Our television was not working and she immediately came to the room and fixed the connection. She was the friendliest hotel employee I have encountered in a long time and even checked back with us later.

This rooms are overall facility look 5x better than the pictures!! Everything was so clean and smelled fresh. Every front desk attendant that we encountered was so friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff was also kind. The staff let us know of the best local restaurants. If you’re traveling to Destin, I HIGHLY suggest staying at the Best Western in Niceville. It’s about 20ish minutes from Destin. We will definitely stay again!!
