I took at shower before bed at 8:30pm and there was NO hot water. Needless to say it was not a good experience. The hotel was dated, not in bad shape but to pristine either!

It was a very pleasant stay - the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were generous and there was much variety, the rooms very comfortable.

I was travelling with students and because I booked through hotels.com and wanted two rooms (I paid online with one credit card in one payment) they separated the rooms into two separate reservations and put us on separate floors. Then when I finally got us into the two rooms my room was cold so i wanted to shut off the air conditioner and I switched it to heat. Assuming the smell was because it was newly turning cold I didn't think anything of it. That's when the smoke detector started blearing in my room. Assuming the fire alarm was going, ishut off the power to the unit and we took off our into the hall where we realized the alarm was only in our room and no one cared if we did burn up. I went back in and opened the window and dealt with the blearing noise of the alarm. Still 5 minutes of beeping and no one even noticed.

Was a bit surprised by how nice this hotel was. It exceeded my expectations. the furniture was fairly new and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the sausage that was served at breakfast.

Our room smelled really bad, like basement mildew and was very clammy and damp. The bathroom door and closet door could barely close because it was so warped...probably because of the moisture in the room. I felt like I was staying in someone's basement.

It is a very nice, reasonably priced hotel close to Hwy 53 and I94, central to Eau Claire, with many dinner options and shopping close by.

I booked two rooms for one night and after checking in I went to the rooms and found out that the rooms were not made up. Towels were on bathroom floors and beds were not made up. Tried to contact the receptionist and it took more than 15 minutes to get in touch with her. She assigned another two rooms and those were okay

This was not the stay we were hoping for. It was over Labour day Weekend, so not sure if it was due to that that staff was lacking. Staff present friendly, but insufficient.

We were very pleased with the hotel. Good service, clean room, good breakfast. Breakfast options: pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, pastries, muffins, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, juice, and pretty decent coffee! Also a Caribou coffee right around the corner.
Is it renovated and beautiful? No. But we found it to be a great place to stop for the night for our family of 3. Also if you like to thrift, the Goodwill closeby is really great! We would recommend and return. Thanks!

Was charged double for my room and reached out to the facility and was not assisted in this matter.

Clean and convenient. Not the best hotel out there, but it does the job for a reasonable price. Note that they do not have elevators. If you end up on the second floor, you will end up carrying everything up the stairs.

The Superior Suite was in no way superior. Upon check in, around 6pm with 3 tired kiddos, we were informed the Suites were on the 2nd floor and there is NO elevator. Once in the room the we found the carpet was wet as if it had been very recently shampooed and the room was musty. Everyone was so tired we decided to stay. Tried the pool with the kids. The water was murky and no bathroom in pool area. Went back to our room to shower and NO hot water. As tired
as we were, we chose to drive home rather than stay. We checked out at 9pm. Even when told we could not get a refund until a manager approved it we chose losing the money rather than staying. That says a lot.
