The bathroom had water bugs, the tub looked dirty, the ceiling had black dust stuck to the texture. There was peeling paint on door frame patch repair started but not finished. The bed sloped to the sides. Thank goodness we were only there one night.

HORRIBLE! This hotel was disgusting and nasty! Smelled really bad, the sink in the room was backed up with dirty water, the walls were so thin you can hear everything, the tub was old and gross, the hot water took forever to get hot, and the bed was so uncomfortable! Don’t even touch the phone it was so dirty and had hair on it! I honestly believe people were living at this hotel! Lots of weird people walking around the property!

It was horrible! The room was directly in front of the trash and the entire room smelled of garbage. One of the office staff came to the room and agreed that it smelled horrible, and gave me towels to re-clean the room myself. Yet after I scrubbed the floor with bleach it still smelled. I asked for another room on the first floor and they refused. However, the room I asked for was empty and they gave it to someone else later that same evening. The staff is horrible. They yell at me and treated me like I wasn’t human. As if the room was all I deserved. The BBB needs to know where they are putting the trash cans in front of rooms.

I booked a room for 2 days, Got there and because I only had a copy of my I.D. they would not give me my room,It was paid for with my debit bank card. I had to make phone calls to make sure my Bank would be Refunded ,~Hotels.com ~ Refunded my Bank the following day😁.

The room itself appeared clean.
The smell of the room was so stinky and musty. It smelled old and dirty if that's the only way to describe it. The window in the room was unable to open to allow the air to flow in. There were ants in the bathroom and saw a roach in the room. I tried to take a picture but it ran away.
There were dead bugs, which also looked like roaches, in the light fixtures.
We left a day earlier than planned. It was just to uncomfortable to stay. We didn’t want to take a chance in any stow aways in our bags...

Out shower did not work and when asked about this we were told that the bathroom was being renovated and we shouldn’t have been booked into it. The workers walked me to three other rooms that were worse. Later the front desk clerk offered us a 20% discount. Your employees were all very kind, courteous in trying to rectify the situation. We were offered a full refund if we preferred to leave but there was no where else to go so we stayed and took the discount. I am shocked at so many rooms being renovated but still being booked without letting your guests know before hand.
Thank you to your employees for being so kind and trying to go out of their way to accommodate date us with the very little that they could.

This facility is older and needs some updating. Cabinet doors broken, table Formica cracked badly, room smelled musty. Our room had a refrigerator and cook top, but there were no dishes, pots and pans, cups, or silverware. The bathroom sink would not drain and we reported it, however, was not fixed the 2 days we stayed. Breakfast was available from 6-9am. It was not a breakfast, it was packages snacks and not available if you came after 8.
We stayed 2 nights and did not have any maid service or clean towels. The price was right.

I had successfully reserved a week for two family members. They asked for another extension, but the facility made their second week hell.
They wouldnt take their card for incidentals and when I called requesting an explanation, the manager wouldn't provide me with any, even though I had made the reservation. I explained that I had already reserved a week without any issues, but he was short, arrongant and very unhelpful.
I had all the booking information on hand since, I charged the reservation under my card and my account but he wouldnt hear me. In short, they denied their stay and my card was charged the full amount.
I still havent been reimbursed for the rejected reservations.

The hotel had black mold all around the bathtub. The water would not shut off all the way. The baseboard in the bathroom was coming off. The bed moved while I was trying to get on it and I almost fell on my face. There was a nasty smell when you came into the room. I did not even shower there. I waited till i checked into another hotel.

I arrive there and the man informs me. He is at lunch and can help me for a half an hour. 15 minutes later I tell him I have already paid via the hotels app and he decides to give me my room keys and check me in. I liked the layout to the room but the carpet was disgusting as was the shower. My wife pull back the covers on her side of the bed and laid there she started feeling bites and so we pulled the cover over the bed and laid on top. The bed was so hard that I couldn’t sleep so after sticking it out for 5 hours we got up and left and went home. We will never stay at this hotel chain again.

It is a very small and old hotel. Another guest came down and needed some toilet paper and towels. The attendant said that he needed to go upstairs to get the toilet paper and to have the gas bring his towels to the lob. I thought that was an odd thing as to why the guest would have to bring down his own towels. Upon arriving to our room, it was dirty. You could see the stains on the sheets. We were disgusted and ended up leaving to find a more acceptable place to stay.

Excellent and simple. The Brea location is very close to shopping centers and other places to visit. The staff got me checked in right away and were friendly and provided helpful services when asked. The room itself had a kitchenette with a microwave and a range and almost a normal sized refrigerator which was really helpful.
My only gripe was that breakfast was just pre-packaged muffins and coffee, but hey, can’t complain when it’s included. I will be staying here again when I visit LA.

I booked the Extended Stay because I wanted the option to cook. Unbeknownst to me, there weren’t any dishes and even if there would have been, the stove wasn’t up to par. There was also a fine hair on one of the beds once we pulled the covers back.

The rooms need to be touched up. Lots of chipped paint on cupboards and counters. The bathroom tub leaked and the tub needs some revamping. The neighbors had a large dog that barked a lot. I saw the police visit a few times. There were some questionable characters that hung around there and had me
Lock the door when the sun went down. The staff had to clean graffiti in the elevators daily. The price was affordable but you get what you pay for.

Good ubication. Didnt like it the conditions and not clean in general of the property and the personel are some kind of rude. And the photos dosnt show the real conditions (old cabinets, matress in bad condition and the floors of the property need a pressure cleaning).

There seems to be a disconnect between Expedia and extended stays. All payment was made in advance for the booking of 3 rooms. On the day of check-in, we arrived at the hotel at night. The hotel did not reserve a room for us, despite our booking of 3 rooms. Fortunately, there were 2 rooms available. I had to call expedia support on that night. Spend almost two hours talking to Expedia and the hotel agent about what can be done. The hotel had a system issue. I was pleasantly surprised when another room became available in a two-hour period, but I had to downgrade the room because the one I had booked was not available. The hotel staff was helpful in securing a room for us. It was mess. To my understanding, the hotel does not reserve rooms ahead of time for Expedia bookings. It's possible that there is a gap in communication between Expedia and the hotel booking.

Staff was “high” so check in was very slow. They could not tell me how to find my room - just a general direction which was “its on second floor”.
The hotel has huge trash bins filled on every level of the property. Outside the rooms and around the staircase smells like downtown LA.
Stretchy people around the area. Some folks look like they live in the hotel.
Phone rings at 9:45 even though no wake up call has been requested. They just have to make sure you get out before 11am.
They room is old dirty and smelly. Bed sheets seemed fine so good job you did something right! 👍 Front desk needs training and the property management needs to stop slacking and fix the place up. Also, get rid of tweakers it’s not a good look.

It was really nice. Had a kitchen and reclining chair with dining table. The area isnt too bad not much to go and do. But i stayed in all weekend anyways.
Had issues with some devices no connecting to wifi because the hotel blocked it and wanted you to upgrade to the premium wifi but the free one worked on my phone and was fine so yeah.

They overbooked and they didn’t have any room’s available for us. Terrible! The room was about a week ago and fully paid. When we got there around midnight and the person in the front desk said that no rooms available and ask us to find another hotel nearby. He said this overbooking has been happening for quite a while and lot of guests had to turn down. Terrible experience. He also blamed Expedia about overbooking , not sure who to blame but we had terrible experience and stranded there for over an hour in the middle of the night
