The connecting rooms were spacious and very clean. The mattresses were quite comfortable. The staff were very friendly. My family enjoyed their stay.

This hotel is very tired and unloved. Staff were not trained and the rooms were not very nice. One of our guests toilets did not have a top on the cistern !!! 2-3 star max .

My door lock was messed up hard to lock the door . Breakfast buffet they had pancakes and crepes. But they were cold not kept on a warming plate . 1 cut up fruit per morning. Scrambled eggs but only 1 day out of three any bacon, and it was lying in a pot of grease. Not a 20 dollar breakfast. The hotel had no work space office with a computer. Very little English spoken. Hard to believe they were right across. The channel from England.

We stayed on our way back from the South of France going back to England. We had adjoining rooms with our young children. We found the staff friendly and the hotel charming. It is a little dated but quirky!. It was well priced and we would recommend. Central Le Mans was very easy to walk to we would definitely try to stay here again

Great location, nice old building, reasonable price. Would stay again. Downsides are that the carpets are dirty in the rooms, while the toilet was not well secured to the floor.

The staff was very kind and professional. At the restaurant, the chef was great, the food also. I've forgot my coat and my daughter's down jacket and I've contacted the staff to have everything sent to my home in the US and they sent me everything without delays. They were very nice and cooperative. Thank you so much for your help with that!. And also the great service we got at your establishment!! Merci!!!

Love the decor of this hotel but I think may have hit hard times. There does not appear to be much in the way of staff. Stayed for one night and there was no bar staff and the chef didn’t turn up! Also the bar had run out of beer !!! Hence morning breakfast on offer was 17 euros for a few croissants and cereal - nothing cooked so decided to eat elsewhere.

Bedroom - too much shabby, very little chic !

This hotel was at the top 50 years ago. Not any more. You have to carry your luggage up a flight of 12 steps outside. The elevator is so small we had to make 3 trips to get our luggages in our room. The carpet in the hallway was stained.

We stayed for one night to break the journey to the Vendée region. We booked using Tesco Clubcard vouchers, and the process was very easy. We booked interconnecting family rooms, and were amazed at the size of the 2 bedrooms! We were on the first floor and had a huge super king (room 116 - overlooks the car park) and the children shared a double (room 117 - overlooks the street). The beds were very comfy, and the rooms were quiet. Staff were very helpful on our arrival and during our stay. We used the paid on-site parking (barrier entrance), which was €13 for 24 hours. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast the following morning (great selection of cereals, breads, pastries, pancakes, fruit, yogurts, cold sliced meats and smoked fish, eggs, scrambled eggs and bacon, juices and hot drinks). Our children (aged 3 & 6) ate free and adults were €16 each. The hotel is in a great location for walking in to the main areas of the town centre, and there are lots of dining options within a 10 minute walk, which was good since the hotel restaurant was closed through July and August due to the chef's holidays. A great stay and we would book again if in the area.

Been here twice now, both times in the same family room which is the best hotel family accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. Hotel is well placed for the centre and the staff always welcoming. It’s been trouble free on both visits.

Charming and friendly staff, very comfortable beds and rooms. Good parking too. And in easy walking distance of the city c entire for life and restaurants.

The rooms were comfortable, spacious and spotless. The hotel is well-placed for exploring the modern and Plantagenet parts of the city and for the trams. Staff were friendly and helpful. The intercom for the car park barrier didn't work on entry so I had to rush in and ask them to open it. Car parking is extra.

Loved the venue!!

Area seemed a little dangerous for seniors to be walking around. Hotel old and creaky floors. Poor news and sports coverage on TV. Good web site, poor reality. Would not stay there again.

Brilliant girl on reception, very helpful. Shower poor in out room, no real power to it. Area outside hotel was quite intimidating.

Nice location, lovely bar and VERY helpful staff . Comfy beds and well laid out rooms (if a bit dated) Main criticism was we had a dreadful nights sleep due to our room being under stairs. The people using them would run up and down them resulting in a loud boom boom boom 😪 i can only assume they were children, but the room would definately benefit from better sound insulation .

My wife and I stayed at the Concordia for two nights and it was an excellent decision. It is superbly placed for walking into Le Mans old town.

Our one night stay for me, my wife and our two teenage children was the perfect end to our trip in France. The staff greeted us well and the room was a suit on the top floor with great views of the roof tops of Le Mans. All was clean, tidy and well appointed, with a very old school luxury feel. The overnight parking was a little pricey at €16 but it was vet convenient and secure.Highly recommended and I will book again for our trip next year for sure.
