Room is oldfashioned but clean. Very warm allthough there is a fan. A bible near the bed - why? (it's 2021, let us be free). Breakfast was reasonably. Private parking 12 euro.

The best feature of this hotel are the very central location and proximity to public transportation location: you can walk anywhere in Mitte Stuttgart and reach the train station by 1 stop of U or S bahn, which also take you to all point of interest far from tne center. Another excellent thing is the quality of its included breakfast, with fresh products and good variety, which is not always the case in hotels of this range. The staff at breakfast is also extremely kind and ready to satisfy any request, another great value. Another positive point is the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. I suggest changing the carpet in all the hotel and in the rooms: it's really old and sort of downgrades the hotel. Furniture is a bit dated too, but in good conditions. If staff st breakfast was very kind, I couldn't say the same for the people at the reception: a warmer welcome and some smiles would be appreciated. All in all, an essential hotel in a great location and with a good price/quality ratio!

Good location, good price.. but little noisy and poor amenity.. good for short stay..

The room service walked in on me but it was my fault for not putting a sign on the door. It wasnt her fault she promptly shut the door and locked it. I do ask for more than one shower towel even for one night stays.

Location very good, middle of the centre. Had a bit of a bad experience due to an early wake up bij the cleaner who ran into the room. No sorry was given. Also the 11 o'clock check out was annoying while I had a late one at fridayevening. Breakfast is fine. Concluding: location makes it worthwhile, hotel itself is nothing special which also can be expected for the price payed.

very expensive hotel for low quality. Very low soundproof door. In morning a lot of slam doors and lot of big noises that wake you up event if you whould like some sleep. Breakfast was poor. Area is close to city center

An older establishment. Furniture from the seventies. Single beds are built into the wall and so quite compact. Breakfast was ok. Clean. Nice people.

Excellent German hotel located in the perfect area for shopping, dining and site seeing. The staff was very nice upon check in and was extremely helpful with various questions we had. Parking is located in a garage a few blocks/5 mins walk away, so drop your large luggage off before parking.

Comfy room, continental breakfast - not tons of choice but enough for something to eat, friendly staff, right in the centre - few minite walk from all the shops and about 10 minute walk from the train station / subway. Would stay again.

Stayed at the Hotel Wartburg just one night after visiting the Mercedes Benz Museum. In January, at least, the room was an excellent value. Parking and breakfast included. Room was large, very clean, though the carpet and woodwork throughout the hotel are looking dated. If that gets me a great deal on a weekend getaway, I'll take it! The hotel is in a good location for exploring the Stuttgart city center with it's palaces, parks, churches and art. The staff at this hotel were all very helpful and friendly and the desk staff spoke excellent English (which I really appreciate, but do not expect). The most (pleasantly) surprising thing about this hotel was the lovely breakfast. The choices included the usual German breakfast staples as well as bacon and eggs, but it was arranged and managed so nicely. This felt like an expensive Sunday Brunch! The breakfast staff was all smiles and kept the area fully stocked, clean and inviting. Great job, Hotel Wartburg!

The location is convenient and quiet. The guest room is clean, has the enough space and chic, I can stay to relax. Gently supporting staff. The breakfast is delicious and good service.

I wanted to add to my previous review that I woud happily stay at this hotel again on another visit to Stuttgart. Also wished to add that breakfast was very varied and tasty and was included in the price. I have corrected my rating to 4.

Good choice of hotel. Very near to S-and U-Bahn for connections (eg airport, etc.) Also quiet (although central) and well run. Reception manned 24 hours. Staff very pleasant and helpfull. The only negative for me was (I am fluent in German) that, alhough TV in room, I could not access neither ARD (1st) nor ZDF(2nd programe) which are basics. Reception couldnt help either. Shame, as there were a couple of good films on (Sunday evening).

Good location - good acomodations - breakfast ok - one night traveller

Traditional German hotel with decent accommodations, but no air conditioning of any kind. I was there when it was near 90F (30 Celsius) outside, so after arriving back to an equally warm room and wandering the city all day, it was quite exhausting come back to an equally warm room and difficult to sleep. Windows and a fan are your only option, but if you have a room facing the street (not the inner courtyard), it can be very noisy with the windows open, especially on the weekends since the hotel is near bars and clubs. Even in this day and age many traditional German hotels dont have air conditioning and I understand that, but theres no indication of that for this hotel on Expedia except for a few references buried in the reviews, with even some non-Expedia sites indicating that it does have A/C--it doesnt. I think this would be a perfectly fine hotel in the cooler months when you can keep the windows shut, but not at the height of summer, or if you have serious medical conditions. The location cant be beat though--its within a 5-10 min walk of the city center and borders the main Fussgängerzone (shopping district).
