I had low expectations for a hotel at this daily rate...they were exceeded. The room was clean, well-appointed and it was small but not uncomfortable. The room tended to be overly warm, even when I set the unit to 64 degrees. There was very low pressure in the shower. The breakfast bar was a really pleasant surprise except for the oatmeal, this morning, which was just a container of hot, white water. Overall, I made a good choice and would certainly stay there again.

There was a little difficult to figure out parking and the staff seemed like I was talking a foreign language trying to figure out situation. Almost like there's no real Parking plan or something.They have to make it up as they go. It all worked out though, and people were very helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located between two metro stations (Silver Springs and Takoma) both of which are within walking distance. There is a good breakfast on offer daily and a tea/coffee making facility within the standard room, along with an ironing board, iron and room safe. The best thing is they also have a laundry room and sell everything you need downstairs.

It's a very nice hotel, great breakfast, nice facilities and very convenient location walking distance to the Silver Spring Metro Station and to the center of Silver Spring

I was highly impressed by the staff and how willing they were to help me and my sisters. Of course it's a hotel in the city, so parking and space wasn't easy to find so some of the staff went above and beyond to help us. They walked us to a parking garage space so show us where we can park at, and was overall friendly. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend. We were just there for 2 nights and 3 days so it was short and sweet.

First, a major shout-out to CARLOS who took care of us in many ways from storing our luggage because we had an early flight to helping us extend our stay by a night and stay in the same room due to Hurricane Helene. He always did it with a smile and answered the thanks with "It's my job to take care of you". He wasn't the only one who provided good service, but he certainly bend over backwards. So THANK YOU team.
For anyone with poor service experience, the longer I am alive, the more certain I am that the customer service you receive is reflective of how you treat other people.
The room we stayed in was clearly renovated recently, especially the bathroom. The room was small, but we were going there to crash after whole days of walking around the city. It was comfortable and quiet enough. The hallways were the most "run down" in the hotel, but what do you expect with hundreds of people walking through there.
The breakfast was very sufficient and had lots of options. No complaints there!
We didn't park, so cannot comment on that. It is about a 12-15 walk from the Silver Springs Metro station. It is an easy walk, one small hill, and I felt totally safe every time.
Do stay away from the 7-11 next door. We went there to pick up some sodas. It was terrifying. Just...don't walk past the hotel. The hotel sells drinks and whatnot if you want it.

The property website falsely advertises parking as an amenity but there is no parking. When I arrived I was told that they have a limited number of spaces for free and everyone else pays $20 to park at the garage at the end of the block. They also put a $100 charge on my credit card that was supposed to be refunded the next day at checkout. They said this was because I booked through Expedia and they needed a card on file in the event that I smoked or damaged the room. I thought this was fair. Upon checkout I was told by a different employee that the refund would take 7-10 business days. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone going in without the expectation of being treated as a second class citizen.

I didn't like that there is not much parking inside the hotel itself. I was sent to the public parking next door garage where there was 7-8 suspicious individuals in front of the entrance all day and night. I felt it wasn't a safe area to park any personal vehicle their!

patched carpeting in room, charged $20 a day for parking, need because the area felt unsafe, the breakfast was terrible. The coffee was watered down, terrible. We had a sleeping baby, and asked if we could stay a little past 11am checkout time to let him sleep and they said $25 fee.

Timed fragrance spray in hallways masked strong odors. Even tissues had an odor.
Direct tv only had 3 channels that worked. Remote and reception were poor.
No handles in tub near shower head—almost slipped twice.
No bathroom hooks to hang up clothes.
Positives: staff were very friendly and very helpful. Desk staff and room cleaners were excellent. Ample supply of clean towels Dove bath products were very good.
In sum, older motel in serious need of modernization and upgrades. Best feature was the staff, bravo to them.

Stayed at this location for two nights. Hotel needs work. Key pad doors do not work, room keys get stuck and guests had to go down for maintance a few times to get the key out of the lock slot. Area is very ghetto. It is in a sketchy part of town with a lot of homeless, blacks and hood people. I was fearful for my life walking to get chinese. Rooms was clean cozy but the bathroom is old. Hotel needs a lot of work as a Holiday Inn Express. Will probably not stay again

Staff very friendly. But TV did not have more than 3-5 stations with no local news channels. Parking was an issue if you arrived late. Breakfast menu no variety and was the same all 4 days. Property dated carpet needed to be changed to update the feel of the hotel. But overall I did not mind my stay.
