Water damage to ceiling all throughout lobby and bathroom. Carpet throughout entire building probably hasn’t been washed since the 80’s. The room smells like every stray cat outside has a key to this room. Soap scum and mildew on caulking in tub. Torn/cracked curtains. I can hear my neighbor’s smoke alarm battery beeping, so might want to replace #322’s alarms…. Just in case of a fire…. Tucked corners of bedsheets are yellow, But at least it passed my bed bug check, so aces on that at least.
I will, from now on, never EVER cut costs and go with the half priced room….. because I absolutely got what I paid for……

I got in on Friday evening checking in
Put my things in the room lift back out to get something to eat got back in the room to settle in and I saw bedbugs in the room now I have to get all of my clothes dry clean before I can take them in my house because I don’t want to bring them in my houses it really cost me more money than the stay was worth

It was good for an overnight stay. Friendly staff. Need better breakfast.

It was clean and comfortable and served its purpose after traveling 9 hours. However, the toilet would screeching run every 15-20 minutes so loud it would startle us. The in room coffee pot didn’t work or maybe it was the outlet, and the breakfast was very simple and kind of lacking.

The air conditioner was very noisy. It woke me up on every cycle. Almost asked for a different room but I was so tired I didn't want to go through the hassle. By morning I wish I would have. I picked the hotel because it was easy on and off from the Interstate. I'll use another hotel on this exit next time.

Check in was wonderful. Only thing was there were roaches in Room (4-5). It was probably because i was at last room on end of building. Shrubs could have been trimmed on side of building. Breakfast was good! Was not there long. Checked in at 8:30 pm and left by 6;45 am!

Our rooms were only cleaned twice, and we were there for 4 nights. One of the days they came around at 8:30 am and asked for our dirty towels and then never came back to replace them. Nowhere was there a sign or at check-in did they say rooms would not be cleaned every day. The overall facility could use some upgrading and deep cleaning.

It wasnt worth the $99 we paid. It was old, moldy and really humid room smell. Sheets had mold stains or something like that has
dark gray stains. Shower curtain was pink and had mold stains. Room card holder paper sleeve was reaused. The young lady replenishing breakfast was in pj's and added biscuits using bare hands.

Well, the pool was advertised but unusable. It had a thick layer of algae on the bottom and the water was hazy and green for the duration of my stay. The breakfast was the basic hotel food of heat up sausage, powdered eggs, and glue gravy. This hotel obviously caters to mostly construction workers. The gym was out of order and there is no on-site laundry. For the most part it was quiet and comfortable, but I would not recommend for family travelers.

The hotel is in a great location but the hotel is terrible. The complementary breakfast was sub-par. The only hot item was waffles the size of english muffins. There were roaches around the breakfast bar. Each room and hallway has different odors. My kids found stains on the bed sheets during the same time my wife found mold on shower curtains and air vents. My wife and I with two kids had to settle for a king bed room that was decent. My wife wanted to find another hotel but it was late and I convinced her we only had to stay one night. The employees were nice and helpful. They showed us two different rooms before switching us. Unfortunately this did not fix the mold or roach issues. But the employees did try to help.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting! Mold and dirt in the bathtub. The restroom smelled like urine and when asked for someone to come clean no one came. The door to our room wouldnt open without assistance from the maintenance staff. The TV in our room didn't work at all. Also, there was a camera in our room without our consent. I highly recommend not staying at this hotel.

Our air in the room didn’t work set it at 60 and it never got above maybe 75 .
Our room was dirty ! Even though the manager says he checked it himself .
And changed me $35! For a sheet that was already stained ! Definitely will not be staying here again and I highly recommend you don’t either !

Our room had mold growing in the drawer. The service was nice and friendly. The carpet in the hallway isn’t down all the way and would cause you to trip if you were not careful. Overall, it was somewhere to sleep but I just could not get over the smell of mold.

AC worked well, room was comfortable, somewhere said “continental breakfast” but it was a lot more, you made your own waffles, and they had biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs. Very accommodating to pets.

My reservation was canceled by the hotel because they attempted to contact me while I was on airplane and my phone Was in airplane mode. I had nowhere to stay and had to inconvenience someone because of late notice. Most hotels in the immediate area were fully booked and I couldn’t find accommodations. 😡

Room wasn't updated but was clean, beds comfortable, staff was very polite. Our A/C didn't work great, but just think the unit needs to be serviced.

I got a room due to my son having football camp at South Alabama. The staff was very nice and greeted us everytime they saw us. The hotel was a little outdated. Light was coming through our room from the outside. The elevator was chipping paint and felt like it would go out of order at any time but unfortunately we were on the 3rd floor. I would not stay here again if i were to go back to Saraland.

The first room we got smelled like mold and it was all over the wall and chair by ac . I requested another room . It was cleaner but still had a small smell but kh well were down south. My daughter came in later that night we needed a second room . She walkwd in and walked right out went across the street.

Room not clean. Towels dirty - had makeup on them. Bath mat covered in blood - both sides. Pillows had marks (makeup?) on them and mirrors were greasy. Otherwise the room was ok! Good location - near lots of places to eat .

Where to start. The carpet was not pulled down tight and I was wondering how elderly don’t fall in the hallways. The bathtub had mold around it and on the ceiling. We did not shower. The room was humid and we had the air on the lowest setting all night and it only helped a little. Then we go for “breakfast” and it’s nasty “eggs” and still frozen biscuits, a tray of leftover birthday cupcakes, one sad bagel and a carafe by the coffee which you would assume is creamer. Nope, it’s water. Poured it right in my coffee. And they had a tip jar on the counter for this ridiculous breakfast.
Then to top it off, the police and ambulance show up and we overhear there was an overdose on the 3rd floor. Just what I wanted my 6 year old to see. Don’t think we’ll ever stay in Saraland again. That was the worst hotel stay I’ve had in a while. Still can’t get over the tip jar 😂

The room is very clean and comfortable! The hallways are hot and the pool is not appealing but the staff is nice and the linens are clean!

The handle to the shower fell off in my hand, the in room phones didn’t work and staff was incredibly rude!!! The “breakfast” was absolutely disgusting!! The staff refused to refill the empty stations or coffee….DURING the breakfast hours!!! I will never pay to stay there again!!! Complete FAIL!!

Turns out the staff are brother and sister whose family bought hotel. They were very friendly and did what they could to make our stay great. The other gal at the desk was friendly and helpful as well.
Our king size bed was way too tall for my elderly mother to get into. No step stool available to assist. I was given a chair but it didn’t help either. We had to roll her into bed.
The next evening she slept on the pull out couch - after staff cleaned it.
The hair dryer did not work. I was told they received a shipment of new ones when we were checking out.
Seems like a nice family who are making changes to update facility.

Just passing through we had our dog with us so we wanted something pet friendly also didn’t want to spend much for a budget friendly option it was good. Not sparkling clean but for an overnight quick trip it got the job done. The staff was friendly. Gas station next door and close by fast food options walking distance

The hotel was very clean. The owners were super friendly. It kept training and blowing trash in the pool. They made sure to clean it and let me know when it was finished. I've already booked my next stay.
