Very nice hotel for the $. Maybe off season but still a nice stay.

There have been dead flies in the bathroom lamp, the tables in the breakfast room were dirty, such as the floor in the hallway. The stick for the curtain lay on the floor, breakfast was extremely poor. The man at the front desk was very unfriendly, the man in the breakfast room wore dirty clothes. The only positive thing: the mattresses have been good.

The bathtub has a huge crack in it. Smelled like cig smoke in a nonsmoking room. No tissues.

The smell in the hotel was awful. Cooking oil. The AC went on and off all night. There were bugs in the bath tub. Breakfast selection was awful. Hotel is not clean or well maintained. We had two rooms. Really awful experience.

We were given a second floor room with no elevator. When we finally got to the room, our card key didn’t work. When we went to check in there was no one at the front desk and it took forever for someone to come. They also had no air conditioning on in the hotel so it was very hot. The manager was not that friendly and he had to run my credit card twice because he couldn’t figure it out

Absolutely rude the room was disgusting and dirty. Never did it say that I was going half to have a $100 extra down in case of accidentals. Wasn't going to give me my room because of it.
Absolutely disgusted would never recommend staying here at all. Sheet rock was all tour op tables. Discussing dirty cobble's air conditioning filter. Absolutely disgusting not a good place to stay highly not recommended

The Gentleman at the desk when we checked in was very friendly and accommodating. We requested a late check in and he was very good about it. The hotel has a smell and the room was quite dirty. The bathroom door knob had blood on it (I have a picture). This place is fine for a short overnight stay.

When we arived one of the guests was attacking the employee at the front desk with a baseball bat. I never checked in. Dangerous hotel. Travelocity would not let me cancel or get a credit im pissed.

The hotel was very dirty. There was ants dead bugs all over the floor. Looks like it hasn’t been clean in weeks. The shower was dirty. The breakfast you were allowed waffles or bread that was it. The wallpaper was falling off the whole place smelled like mold you couldn’t use the ice machine because it hasn’t been cleaned out. It looks like in years That outside property had ice cream cigarettes all over the ground . took forever to check in .. there was a customer in front of us. The hotel clerk was very rude to him. Tunafish left on air conditioner windows were filthy,cobwebs everywhere..

July 8, 2024 outside is filthy, clean the glass on the entrance door, Summer in the Lake City, $ was decent but not a great value for what it is. Comfortable bed , TV worked, It was hot weather and the air conditioning was good, The door to my room would not fully close enough to lock on its own. !

The manager had use fill out additional information that the Expedia should have already had from the online booking. He then also makes the customer put $100 additional payment for incidentals not rendered by us. Using our credit card again at check in. We had not dog and did not smoke. The toilet seat was also not attached properly and was missing one of the two attachment screws. Unacceptable!

The refrigerator had rust spots and dirty inside. The microwave was old and dirty. The couch had water stains and food particle . The tub and walls of the bathroom was filled with soap scum

Had a 2 night stay. First room the light in the bathroom didn't work. The gentleman at the desk said ok but its a beautiful light? After changing rooms we ran out of toilet paper, only had decaf coffee. For breakfast there was toast with grape jelly in a jar that everyone leaves crumbs in no butter and make yourself waffles. No fruit, yogurt

I saw a lot of negative reviews and was pleasantly surprised at how erroneous they were. Everything was clean and orderly. The desk clerk was polite, albeit a little deficient in English and clearly overworked. The cleaning staff was top-notch. The bed was clean and comfortable with plenty of pillows. The only problem I noticed was a loose bathroom sink fixture. I reached underneath and tightened the bolt by hand. Problem solved. I have been to many interstate-adjacent hotels. This one rates among them as average, to be expected. But, well accommodating, no less. It was a good stay.

Positives: Staff was very helpful and responsive once you could find them, location was optimal for viewing the 2024 solar eclipse totality.
Negatives: Flaking paint and food cooked onto the inside of the microwave, shower curtain a little slimy, very limited breakfast options, broken vending machines, all of the outlets in the room were inexplicably loose causing A/C plugs to just fall out.

Room was dirty unvacuumed, toilet not clean, no toilet paper roll it was broken. The sheets on bed were stained. When brought to the attention of check in person, he said so sue the hotel you’ll win. We drove 5 hours to get there and slept in our car. Awful!!!

Had a great experience. Staff accommodative very convenient to viewing the eclipse at Lakeside. Staff went out of their way to make our stay a great one.

Our room.was fine but my daughters didn't have a tv remote and it took 90 minutes to get one. The service is poor and the breakfast subpar. My husband tried the coffee and spit it out. The juice machine was not working. But the rooms were clean and comfortable

The breakfast package is just for internet sales, they had bread and coffee...the waffle maker machine not working, only option was apple juice and cereals.

TV doesn't work, no pool, keys deactivated. The so called technician came to fix the TV; and he disappeared a while after. Nothing was fixed.
