Writing this review, as this is my final time I will ever stay at this hotel.
I have stayed here before mainly for location reasons.
The breakfast is mediocre, it's dated and not very clean. But the main reason I won't ever come here again is because with each stay, they keep giving me a room that's further and further down in the maze which they call this hotel.
There's probably only 10 cars in the parking lot, which would mean they have a bunch of vacant rooms but I've been given a room as far back as possible which barely has any signs showing directions to it.
I book through hotels.com because I want the benefits to book at which ever brand of hotels that I want so my guess is that because I don't use their rewards program, they want to punish me.
I also discovered a used towel from the previous people hanging behind the bathroom door.
Ill gladly pay more to get cleaner, better service.

Hotel was great but the bed we stayed on was too big for the frame. They should have proper size frames for the size of the bed.

Over night ..was great but sound does travel down thus replacing the carpets with Lino flooring makes the rooms less noise proof… it sounded like elephants upstairs…I thought I was next to a night club

Pros- near the beach and the channel
Cons- took several full minutes to get any hot water from the tap or shower. No elevator (two flights of stairs). The property is fenced in and has no opening on the beach side so you have to walk all the way around and there is no sidewalk.

The Hotel was nice. We showed up early, with no intentions to access rooms.
We thought it would be nice to complete the paperwork, head for a drink. Then return at check-in time. The staff an elderly lady, was very annoyed and unfriendly. We were pleasant and left as she made a big deal.
I never seen that old gal smile at anyone the whole time we were there. She is just an unpleasant person.

Warning: Do Not Book if You’re a Non-Smoker
I had a disappointing experience at this property. Despite being advertised as non-smoking, the rooms were filled with smoke smell, possibly from past smoking allowances.
I booked a three-night stay but had to cancel the remaining two nights. The property itself is quite outdated. The air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night. Although the manager tried to fix it, it only worked temporarily and failed again after an hour.
Furthermore, since I booked through Expedia, there was a dispute between Expedia and the hotel regarding compensation. Unfortunately, I received no compensation and was charged full money, and Friday night was expensive.
I would advise against staying here, especially if you are sensitive to smoke or require reliable amenities.

Well, the rooms were big and beautiful bed was comfortable. Nice that you had a fridge and a microwave and bathroom was OK but the one thing that I missed was no good Wi-Fi. You need to upgrade your Wi-Fi and you’re still using the old system on television, you need to be Wi-Fi on TV too.

Breakfast was the exact same for the three days I was there, things were broken and the only hit item was sausage, and toast and they did not look appetizing.

We have stayed there three times now. Always clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool was kept very well and is in very good condition. The breakfast room didn’t have the waffle machine or two percent milk machine working. Our stay was great!

It is a great location, you can walk within minutes to beach, restaurants and even the city center. For the most part the property is clean.
The staff is not warm or friendly, they always seem a bit disgruntled at the front desk. The air conditioner in our room made all sorts of noise, informed the front desk, they said they would send someone to take a look, never did. I would say Mediocre, I would try and different place next time.

Well, as soon as we got there they had difficulty with my credit card and then found out that our room wouldn’t be ready for another 20 minutes due to lack of cleaning staff on duty.
That wasn’t so bad and can understand but the next day when we were out for the day, we came back later and noticed that our room was not locked! The gold bar at the top of the door was keeping the door open. Thank god nothing was missing from our room. It was facing out to an open courtyard so it could have been worse and not what you expect when you stay at a $200 plus/night hotel/motel.

I had chosen this property to stay at because they advertised a fitness area (gym). Now there is a room that is JAM packed with equipment, to the point that you can’t move inside the space. It is completely impractical and there is no space to move to do a meaningful functional fitness. It was also freezing. This is a nice little hotel but I was very disappointed with the gym.

Poolside room was amazing. Super clean and spacious. Loved the lawn and all the outdoor seating the hotel provides. We will be back!
