It was just an issue overnight stay before we travelled through the Channel Tunnel but it was extremely pleasant. Good secure parking. My wife was able to use the pool. Room was lovely. Would stay there again.

Was great but decoration in the room, and spa area was a little tired. Other than that, can’t complain. Breakfast, staff and amenities all on point. And staff were kind in contributing to our celebrations.

Perfect stay away with the fur baby .. it’s a busy hotel and breakfast did get very busy - but gave it a bit of time the staff worked very hard to deliver no complaints and thanks for a nice stay

Utterly perfect for a one night stopover before a channel crossing. The hotel is very well appointed with clean, spacious rooms. There is plenty of parking and a nearby petrol station to fill up before travelling to France. The evening meal was delicious and quickly served despite two large groups in the restaurant at the same time. The self service breakfast was also excellent with a broad choice of food. And all for a good price. Highly recommend.

Good value for money. Free (small) minibar included in our price. Breakfast decent buffet. Some small issue of cleanliness (wee stains on toilet seat) and the sofa bed is small. Only really for one adult or two small children (my 12 year olds really sruggled). Good staff and service.

Hotel staff are lovely. The main areas are nice spaces to be in. Feels safe and secure. Hotel beds are very comfy. Room was very clean. Rooms and restaurant areas in big need of refurbishment and upkeep. Rooms quite dated now. Veneer missing off edge of table at breakfast. Cleanliness of table and floors at breakfast wasn't great.

Good hotel with good range of facilities present. The main lobby and bar appeared newly refurbished and clean. The restaurant served good food, we sampled breakfast and dinner menus. The restaurant furniture however needed a good clean, the chairs and booth chairs were stained and dirty. The rooms were spacious and the complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch. However, the room required a bit more attention to the cleaning - inside the draws were crumbs from someone’s dinner and the larger chest of draws were broken. Overall, a good stay and some little improvements would make it an excellent choice.

The aircon did not work, the toilet flush kept dripping. Looked tired

Nice modern room with great facilities, clean room and very good free refreshments which is a lovely extra. Swimming pool was lovely, quite busy but we really enjoyed spending time relaxing. Very close to Ashford Designer Outlet too so nice location.

It was a lovely 1 night stay with family and a dog. The rooms were large and comfortable and the staff very helpful. We had dinner in the bar area. There were no vegan options but the staff were able to adjust the ingredients on the menu items. The gym was excellent!

The room itself was clean, and generally comfortable although the pillows were big and firmer than average so not particularly comfortable. The service overall was also good, although a whole table of food from a meeting was left on the table outside a meeting room for at least a full day (at least one evening, night and the following afternoon). The spa facilities are limited, but for the price of the room and the spa it is still very good value. Only real complaint would be the dinner at the restaurant- we had dinner once there and it is moderately expensive, but considering the portion sizes this pricing seemed really off - we each had a starter, main and dessert and each of these was really noticeably lacking in portion size, and so to pay slightly higher prices and receive the amount of food - which was not even particularly great in itself - was really disappointing. We mentioned this to the waitress and she said that a lot of people had the same complaint and that was it, so it seems that it is a long term, recurring issue. I would stay in the hotel again but not eat dinner there again at all. For our other night’s dinner we found a local restaurant (Stubb’s) which was a little more expensive but far superior in quality and genuinely exquisite and worth every penny.

Location (ashford) is very practical. Staff is kind, rooms are nicely renovated and breakfast was great. Only negative was that we had to wait/waste 45 minutes until 9am to go swimming as minors aren’t allowed prior - which was a shame. Otherwise great!

Used the hotel while travelling to the Eurotunnel so was a brief stay and we were up and on the road at 05:30 the next morning. All I can comment is our stay was ok.

My stay at Ashford international hotel has been splendid as always. My cousin and i enjoyed out stay especially the the pool facility and thw breakfast. Stagf were amazing and very supportive. I will continue to stay at Ashford international hotel.

Had a lovely stay here. We used the swimming pool and bar for food and restaurant for breakfast. The sauna and steam room are good but jacuzzi is was too small and not very warm. Word of warning also, it is open to health club members and while they were pleasant enough, they will not be to everyone’s taste. Some hotel clients also were messing around in the pool during a scheduled adult session and when I alerted a staff member they didn’t seem bothered in the slightest. I’m not a complainer but these ‘adults’ were barging through the swim lanes playing tug while people were swimming lengths and splashing excessively. Would have been a problem in an open session.

Beds super comfortable so that was good. Checking in was easy and had a great service from the lady on reception. Just let down by the lack of staff. Went to order food in the bar around just gone 8 ish and was told to wait until 9 as they were too busy in the kitchen. Went back at 9 to be told we had to wait a further 10 mins which we did. Then we were then told food would take around an hour!! So as you can appreciate we were very frustrated as we would have never had waited if they had been more organised and just said there would be no more food orders taken from the start. Next morning We decided to chance breakfast and had to say we were pleasantly surprised. Great selection and food was good.

My wife and I needed a break, so chose a Spa Hotel. It’s a nice hotel but really needs to limit the amount of people if let’s into the pool. Saturday evening resembles a public baths, the noise level of children was anything but relaxing and the jacuzzi was out of action. The rooms are lovely, great shower, but the air-con didn’t work resulting in a very uncomfortable night. My biggest issue is when hotels have events on but don’t let you know - this Saturday was a prom or something I assume - so the amount of shouting and running down corridors really made the trip not worth the money. Nice hotel, but one and done for me.

Actually the 4th time staying here which didn’t realise, always efficient and clean, rooms a little dated but you get that. Food was nice, quiet and clean and first time using the gym which was great

Easy check in and comfortable room. We paid extra to have breakfast and didn’t need to bother as no one in the restaurant checking off names etc. This led to a lot of people in there so a lack of food at times. The room was ok but initially a towel missing. The wood on the bedside table was also flaking/damaged. Despite these small issues, We wouldn’t not return if there was another event there.

A nice welcome on arrival I feel that it could do with a bit of a facelift things are getting a bit old and worn and the Building starting a little bit tired

The reception and the communal areas are modern and bright and the restaurant was the same. Sadly the room was not pleasant, we only stayed for 1 night be for our channel tunnel crossing and that was more than enough. Our room was tired and desperate for a refurb, scuffed walls, stained carpet and old dirt around the windows and on the skirting. Our fridge must not have been checked as the people before must have had ice cream or a milk shake and it was all over the fridge making it unusable to us. The bathroom was modern and a great shower. We did eat in the hotel, at the bar and the food was good with great service. The hotel is dog friendly but we weren’t allowed in the restaurant, however, for breakfast they were happy for us to eat in the communal area which worked really well. The staff at the hotel are happy to help.

Staff had the personality of a wet mop except for reception. Food was ok but verging on dangerous, asked for no anchovies on Caesar Salad only to find them half way through the dish. If my wife was allergic this could have been a serious issue. Breakfast was served toast that was burnt on one side only for the food manager to quip " oh they do like to hide things". Ruined what was meant to be a relaxing couple days away.
