No frills hotel with a good bed and convenient location close to the railway station

Rooms are really old, carpets dirty. I talked to staff and all confirmed that they wait for renovation of facilities

Very good service. Decent breakfast and reasonable price for both room and breakfast. I would definitely come back to this hotel next time I'm in Mannheim.

It was nice. Better than I initially had expected it to be. I would recommend staying here. It’s value for money.

This hotel was ideally placed, the staff was friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable. When I compare to hotels in Germany in the past one can see that the standards have been raised over the past few decades as in the past I would not have expected such a nice hotel in that country.

Everything was nice , however WIFI at room is not up to bar

This is the second occasion we have stayed here this year. We had a few small issues this time; but the staff were very helpful and things were resolved quickly.

Probably wouldn't rebook. Good for one night if you need to be close to the train station and can survive on very little sleep. The positives: Lovely staff. Easy to arrange gluten free breakfast items. Close to the train station. Close to several supermarkets. The shower was very powerful. The negatives: Despite booking a double room I was given only a single duvet, one pillow and one towel. The lamp, curtains and floor were very stained. The shower wouldn't stay up and the shower curtain was next to useless covering the floor in water. Very loud location, my window was next to the pedestrian crossing so heard the click/beeps all night long. Very uncomfortable bed.

The staff was extremely dedicated and helpful, especially when there was no warm water and we have to fight heavily the hot weather! Perfect people, this is the best asset, but the hotel as a whole needs to at least renovate the floor carpet! Also, the ecological practices are really appreciated, yet they alone will not lead to decrease of the temperatures and there should be at least some air-conditioned rooms from those facing the street as they are the hottest! The location is more than perfect - walking distance from any important place - shops, cafes, Uni, banks, administration etc! We are very pleased as a whole, as despite the problems, the staff did its best to really help us! Thank you!

I was in mannheim on business and this was the perfect temporary home for a few days; the staff were all friendly and helpful, the night guard was especially kind - chatting at the bar and during smoke breaks when I was working late in the room! Thank you to all the staff and management for such a relaxed atmosphere - I had a peaceful and pleasant stay with you!

Generally old facility with breakfast buffet. Amenities were clean and the facilities were clean, too.

Very convenient for the railway station and the University.

There was a bracelet in the bed! Facility is not modern. Wifi: I was „use telecom“, but it either did not workor the staff did not provide adequate instructions. I could not b too bothered asking agsin for just one night, so that, like the bracelet in the bed remain misteries.

Hotel centrally located and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Clean and comfortable room. Staff very pleasant. Managed to park car around the corner and not get a ticket!

I’ve never been into a hotel so dirty with such a terrible receptionist. OMG!! Run. The rooms are totally unsafe, no air condition, dirty carpet, dirty linens and what top it all off the bathroom is dirty , no complimentary soap to use you must use the one that everyone squeezed from so unsanitary. I immediately ask for a refund once I looked in the room they told me and the receptionist has the nastiest attitude, she’s so unprofessional it’s not funny .This place should be out of business.

Standard nice German breakfast. Very easy to go to Train station and not far from town center. Not flexible in early check in when room is available.

Booked a comfort double bed and when arrived given a room with a single bed. Reception staff sorted after querying with me so make sure you have your proof of booking when you check in. Otherwise no problem, hotel could do with a refurbishment but good for a budget stay. No English news channel.

Location is near the hauptbahnhof (major rail center where French TGV as well as all services to all points on German rail-DeutschBahn) provide easy access to all of Europe and a 30 minute ride directly into Frankfurt Airport. Neighborhood is easy walk to university, major shopping and eating, as well as historic tower and park where festivals may take place. May be quieter in summer months, but no a/c. However, fans provided. Having stayed here before, we noted newly painted halls, refurbished carpets, but we would caution travelers that the hotel surroundings can be noisy from traffic and festival attendees until wee hours. WiFi is not free, breakfast not included, but rail station has plenty of both plus shopping on lower levels. Very reasonable rates.

Room was too hot and as rooms are overlooking the main road it is difficult to control the temperature.

Small quaint hotel, clean and central to the train station and next to the University. It was a short walk for tired travelers..breakfast was fourteen Euro a person so we didn't bother. Although breakfast is expensive all over Germany. Desk clerks were very helpful. All spoke English.
