Remodeling occurring but not notified. Bathroom missing caulk between floor and tub. Walls in hallway need touch up and cleaning. Coffee terrible and breakfast was not great. Front desk had no desk at the time but no one said anything. Paid $350 - way overpriced and taken advantage of during parents weekend. Not worth it at all. Will not stay there again.

The hotel is being renovated and the pool is filled but not in use. Big rolls of new carpet right at the entrance. The lobby is under repair ? from the point of check in. The vibe from the second you walk in is disappointing. Old furniture and rusty shower, the bottom of the tub was all stained.
Was definitely not a 199.00 a night hotel.
It should be 99.00 and you could tolerate all of the eye sores.
Very disappointed and felt like i was ripped off. Too many other options- they should have advertised that the amenities were not available and it is under renovations?? It was a weekend so not sure if they work while people are in there during the week ?

This property is under construction, and the condition of the hotel is horrible. I can not believe there was no disclosure on Hotels.com. I tried to cancel and get a refund, but to no avail.

This was undoubtedly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything important under construction! The pool closed, the gym,closed the outside sitting area being used for construction prep, common area bathroom one closed one so filthy that it was unusable.None of the common area hallways had been cleaned, they where filthy with drywall debri everywhere. No air conditioning in common areas (77-80 degrees). Air conditioner in room not on ( took an hour to get below 75 degrees. The elevator was broken down also (our room was on 3rd floor).

The Hotel is under new management. Rather than fix the entry the room cleanliness needs a lot of work. The bed skirts were stained. The comforter was stained too.

This was a great place to stay. They did have some renovations going on and so the pool was out but was okay for us cause we were just there to sleep. Check in was easy and the staff were very nice!

The owners were very nice. Multiple things were broken in our room. Sink faucet, shower head, toilet seat all broken. Breakfast room had no fruit, no peanut butter for toast, no oatmeal packets. Overall our room should not have been offered for people to stay in.

This property is quite run down. My feet were dirty from the bathroom floor. Breakfast was very processed and no variety. Small TV and no cable. It was doable, but typical of the low room rate.

Holes in ceiling from unfinished construction. Awoken by construction electric saw outside our window at 8:30am on Sunday morning. Dirty mirrors and mildew in toilet and bathtub drain. So gross.

It was very dirty. The mirrors had streaks all over them. The toilet seat was broken and it struggled to flush. We were leaving the room at one point and we saw a room where the toilet had overflowed and there was an enormous puddle on the carpet right outside the room. Disgusting.
When we checked in, the man never told me about the available breakfast (which I would never have tried anyway as it looked filthy)
When we checked out, the woman behind the counter never said hello or, more importantly, how was your stay? Probably because she knew what I would say.
We only stayed there because it was close to the University but in retrospect, i would accept the inconvenience of being farther away.
Two nights in this disgusting place cost me close to $900. NEVER AGAIN

The property has seen better days. They are doing a massive renovation to the common areas (looks nice), but I did not see any work on the guest rooms themselves. The pool is closed for construction, the fitness room is closed as well. Fixtures in my room were old and in poor repair.

It was a budget motel with premier prices. I am going to pursue the charge as $404 for one night in this hotel was way too much!!! Expedia did not list this increase to $400 on the website when I made the reservation.

The outside of the facility looked ok. The lobby area is being renovated - a mess. I would like to have been warned. The person at the desk had no personality. The room we stayed in was bad. The breakfast was bare minimum. The bath tub was disgusting. Badly stained. I had to ask for trash cans. The indoor pool was closed. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Place is under construction. We found old food and an open bottle in one of our refrigerator. our other room’s refrigerator smelled. We found an old towel behind our bathroom door. The pool was closed which we weren’t told about until we got there. Nasty carpet. Remote for the tv was nasty as well. There was a crack in the tile on the bathroom floor, that you could hurt yourself on. Behind the beds and in the AC was nasty and hadn’t been cleaned. The lobby bathroom was out of order and my sister almost 💩her pants. Breakfast was pretty good.

I have stayed here two other times and it was fine. This time it was unbelievably terrible. There was construction going on throughout the hotel which I was not made aware of prior to arrival. The lobby and "dining area" were extremely dusty, dirty, wires hanging from the ceiling. I can not believe they actually had food served in an active construction area. My room was also dirty. The towels and lower half of the shower curtain were yellow. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke. I am not sure what regulatory body governs hotels but if they saw the condition of the hotel and that guests were staying there they would probably shut it down.

Stay was alright, it would have been nice to know that the hotel is under major construction. Owner was friendly. Just messy and loud and my shower had powdery concrete in it.

Room was a mess. Shower didn’t work. Told front desk and they never came to check. Went down and told them a second time and was assured I’d be able to shower. Never was able to. Horrible inconvenience for 3 days. Will never stay again.

The entire property is under construction (had no idea). The one elevator, entire 2nd floor & room smell of bad Asian food. Carpet is stained and safety lock broken. TV is crooked on wall. Very run down.

There isn’t good intermediate choices of hotels in this town.
Out of those limited choices, I think this hotel’s building including pool area has good potential, but the building is under renovation as of Feb ‘24. An employee explained it will be completed in a month.
If construction is fully finished and cleaner, it would be better.

it's under construction and it looked really bad. Breakfast eggs and gravy for the bread were having weird taste and we did not eat much of those. Good for short stay but not for vacations.

Decent hotel very close to the college. It’s undergoing massive renovations which will be good for future visitors. The hotel is outdated but clean. We noticed the elevator inspection was 4 months out of date. The vending machines were empty and some of the entrances were closed due to Renovation. Very friendly staff would make me stay again if my daughter goes to Miami.
