Very old world setting with the decor. Room was spacious and beautiful. Only stayed 1night but I loved it and would recommend this place

We stay here a lot. Really like it. Would recommend a little updating. Has no charging plugs.

It was the most beautiful, most elegant hotel we have ever stayed in. And the price was very comparable to other hotels in the area. The only 2 negative things I have to say about it is the refrigerator did not get very cold and the freezer was very small, and there was no microwave in the room.

Fabulous find in San Jose. Beautiful boutique hotel with very comfortable and spacious rooms. Nice little dining table and chairs were a nice addition for doing paperwork while watching tv. Loved this place and will be back.

Food was not ready for breakfast at 630 as posted, they thought it was weekend hours for some reason. Bed very uncomfortable other than that ok.

we where in town and had car trouble n need to stay till the car was fixed the hotel was away from the highway so it was very quiet and clean

Very nice small hotel. Excellent rooms. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Great for a romantic weekend.

The front desk was very helpful. The continental breakfast was also a lot better than I was expecting from one. Will definitely consider staying again when we are in town.

I felt very safe at the hotel. It was very quiet. It was decorated very beautifully. The staff was awesome. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are huge. My only drawnack was the continental breakfast. I was there 6 nights and it was basically the same food every morning. A little change up would have been great. If I ever visit the area again, I will definitely stay there.

Property was safe and parking was good. However, the front desk receptionist was not very helpful and was not able to answer a lot of our questions.

A weekend relaxing experience. Loved the room, staff and front desk.

The services at the hotel were good. During 3 days of our stay there was a short period of time no desk clerk was on duty, no receptionist answered the phone, the clerk should put a sign to let the guests know when he/she will be back. The room that we stayed was spacious, pretty clean, however, the fridge was not working, the hotel replaced another one for us, but it was not cooling. The faucet in the bathtub was dripping, we reported it to the hotel clerk, he said that the hotel couldn't do much to repair it. Air con worked fine but it will be better if it's quieter. As for breakfast service, one time they were out of plastic fork, it would be better for the hotel to keep track of their inventory.

The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. There seemed to be a little bit of dirt or something on the bathroom floor and the carpet and chair in the room had some stains. Otherwise the room met our needs for an overnight stay.

I enjoy the aesthetic of the hotel, large bathroom in room, and the courtesy breakfast. The only thing I was bummed about was the out of order ice machine, cold water was not functioning in shower, and that we had to have staff assist us with working the AC. During summer months it’s convenient to have these options more accessible.

The Hotel has a unique aura that must be seen o be believed

This hotel is a best hidden gem! You would drive past if you didn’t look for it and inside is simply beautiful. Our room was huge, chandeliers everywhere! So elegant and perfect for our stay

Everything was great, especially the delicious breakfast. The only negative comment I have is regarding the old air conditioner unit. Apparently, they are original units and I was told they aren’t as strong as newer units and/or only some of the vents work in the working units. That was the case with ours. Our two nights weren’t as fresh as I would have liked considering the extreme heat we have to endure on these outside.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great place. Very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped rooms and loved the bathrooms. Great service, liked the atmosphere and decor. We’d definitely come back here.

The property itself was very unique but the breakfast options were not great and the service was just ok. We had an issue with the reservation and it was impossible to get it resolved so we ended up paying for 2 nights when we only needed one. :(

I’ve stayed here a few times, and have loved it because it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. This last trip was awful, however, because in the room next to me were three or four teenage boys in a room by themselves. So, every night - multiple times a night - I had to call the front desk to ask them to tell the boys to stop chain ringing the door bells, to stop throwing what sounded like a ball against the wall, yelling, and running up and down the hallway. When I asked the front desk where their parents were, they said they were with their teacher who was on the first floor (I was on the second floor). So, while the staff were responsive, the fact that this was an issue for four nights in a row was a problem.

The Bristol Hotel reminded me of an elegant past. Our room was clean and comfortable, and had all of the modern conveniences we are accustomed to, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, a microwave, and a mini refrigerator, but it was styled after the elegance of older days. We loved it!

My rating is primarily for 2 shortcomings: (1) comfort: the bed was just ok and only big puffy firm pillows provided, and (2) the fact that I accidentally booked the wrong night and when I called the hotel directly to correct it, and even though I still would be staying with them the next night (the night I meant to book) and they had plenty of rooms available, they still said it was nonrefundable and would not just move my reservation and referred me to Expedia (who said they can do nothing but would “advocate for me with the hotel for a refund”). They are a boutique hotel and not a chain - you’d think they could handle an exception like that.

Better than expected, no complaints. I would stay here again.
