I had nothing but issues with this hotel. From payment to out of service ice machine and pop machine. Calking around bathtub has multiple voids meaning walls have potential mold issues with water getting into walls. Would explain the musky smell.

This hotel was nice for our three night stay while we visited the National parks in the surrounding area. Only thing is no breakfast included, and there is no laundry service or facilities on the property to do your own laundry.

Overall disappointing stay. Have stayed in different Prestige Inn's elsewhere so was expecting more. Room either was or still is a smoking room so had a strong odor, but couldn't open the windows due to the noise from the highway (which was still pretty loud even with them closed). Very little soundproofing between rooms as well. Rooms and hallways also could use some upkeep - chipped paint, gouges here and there, toilet paper holder not secured, etc. We will look elsewhere our next time through.

The room was very nice and perfect for my fiancée and I. The hotel and room were very clean, the restaurant onsite was nice, good food and friendly service. The location of the hotel is beside the main highway and a few minutes from downtown Golden.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Prestige Inn. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and it did have the basic amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is fine, our room was okay, bed was comfortable. But it's a pretty run down hotel. I'm guessing it is pretty old and hasn't been renovated probably ever.

Easy booking with Hotels.com, lots of good intel. Though the hotel is showing some signs of wear, the room was well kept. Great beds and linen. Staff very friendly. Lots of towels. Great pools. Nice to have Rickys Grill next to the lobby. Very quiet room, surprisingly, as it is right beside the Trans Canada. All in all we will return, no question.

Check-in took longer. Common areas seemed worn probably due to construction crews mobilizing in for local projects. Rooms were updated and fairly nice.

We appreciate that we were allowed to check in earlier than 4pm as we had a wedding to attend at 5pm. However the hotel was experiencing a water shutdown and we were unable to shower prior to dressing into our formal attire. The small gift package of refreshments to apologize was appreciated.

They had no hot water in the morning I was leaving. The hotel is OK , but no hot water , no free breakfast , makes it an avoid for me

It’s a good place to stay overnight while driving through Golden. It’s pet friendly which is why we chose it. The property is so-so, but the beds are quite comfortable and Ricky’s is attached to the hotel for a hot meal anytime.

Property was decent. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. It was clean for the most part but some parts were worn out. Gym is super small. Elevator is small and old. Stairwells were not clean and very musty.

Convenient location in Golden, British Columbia. Hotel was just dated and the hotel room was a little dark. Also, multiple times walking through the hotel Lobby, other guests would be dripping wet walking through and leaving puddles of water everywhere from the in-door pool. What a safety issue. Hotel should have floor mats down since people don’t have the common sense to towel dry before walking through the hotel.
