Hotel looks relatively new. Everything was clean and neat. Lobby was bright and inviting and clerk was extremely courteous. We had 2 handicap accessible rooms. Both were large with double beds and a reclining chair. This was an overnight stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was picture perfect , beautiful view, beautiful landscaping, beautiful lobby . Rooms were very nice and clean and comfortable. The only thing was the bathroom door stuck and was hard to close

Very clean. Room was not super big. There were conveniently placed hooks - very clever and useful. However, no plugs on the lamps so not so convenient. Included hot breakfast was awesome, and I really liked the biscuits and gravy. Also, really clean and inviting.

Overall the hotel was nice. However we stayed 10 nights and never received housekeeping services even though their sign said they provide it every 3rd day for longer stays. Also there was no variety in the breakfast options.

We needed somewhere to stop overnight after a long drive and this place fit the billl. Lovely rooms, friendly helpful staff and very clean.

A nice stay at a very convenient location

I had called Expedia to cancel 1 of my 2 day stay. Expedia could do that if I canceled my current reservation and made another reservation for just 1 day. I called the property first to assure they had availability, as it was move in weekend. Per the property, they were booked and I would lose my reservation all together, so I decided to just keep it. Once I got to the property, I asked about canceling the Sat reservation and was now told it was a 3rd party reservation and they couldn’t do it. The property was “not” fully booked all weekend long and I could have saved myself the cost of the Saturday stay. Upon entering my room, the temp was set at 62 degrees, the bathroom sink had hair in it, the desk was sticky and dirty like someone ate on it. Needless to say, we stayed the night, since we already paid for it, but checked out Saturday morning and forfeited the room. I did advise the front desk that the room was dirty and needed to be thoroughly cleaned, including a good carpet steam clean. I would not recommend or stay at this location. I would rather drive to and from Staunton if all hotels in Harrisonburg are booked.

DON'T LIKE HAVING TO SIT ON BED TO LOOK TV. I NEVER SLEEP IN A BED I SLEEP SITTING UP BUT NO CHAIR

Good one day stay with my brother so that we could attend a family birthday celebration nearby. Room was quiet, clean, person who checked us in (Darnell) was efficient and personable.

The hotel was clean and had a good free breakfast.

Clean

Just a one night stay here on way to Great Smoky Mountains National Park area. Clean, quiet, good location - especially for James Madison University visit. Basic hotel. Limited breakfast offerings, small dining area. Older fitness equipment, not a fancy fitness center; pool is outside. It was sufficient for our purposes, got room for a good price, albeit off season (early August).

You get what you pay for. Great price, but broken hairdryer, torn carpet, shower faucet that was ready to fall off and choice of mini muffins, waffles, yogurt or fruit loops for breakfast. Beds were comfy though!!

Room and bathroom were dirty. The light and clock on the nightstand didn’t work. The room telephone was not connected. I asked for a wake up call when I checked in but never received it!!

The staff is nice and the place is not filthy, but they are short staffed and room cleaning service only makes the bed and organizes the table. The floor was neither vacuumed before we arrived nor during our entire stay, as evidenced by the pieces of Cheetos laying on the floor beside the bed when we arrived and up until we left, even though we requested that it be cleaned (I will be unsurprised if the Cheetos are still there days after we checked out). The rooms are small and dated, but you get what you pay for. Overall, it did the job and that’s enough.

Our 1st room was dirty looked like it has been thrown together and half way cleaned and I’m not sure if that is even worth saying. Staff made it right and got us another room but still didn’t feel like I was clean as it could have been. Have stayed in many hotel traveling for baseball and sporting events this was by far the worst

Cheap - Everything was done to save a few pennies... 2 towels for 2 people 2 coffee pods for 2 people (who can get going on 1 cup?) Shower was terrible Breakfast was even worse

The carpet is very old. The bathroom tiles are uneven. Stairs are unsafe; steps are high and narrow. The A/C is old and loud. The bathroom toilet is for 5 year old. The microwave is old and does not work well. The mattress is old, stiff, noisy, and uncomfortable.

Room was very nice - clean & comfortable . Water temp for tub was on the cool side. Noticed this on a previous stay. Water temp Could and should be warmer. Breakfast was disappointing on this stay did “not” have any protein options (no eggs, or cheese) We did have more options on our previous visit. Experienced issue with tv with random channels blocked that were news related. Frustrating and reported to desk. Was not resolved.
