The HH has had some tough times, but has regained its mojo. The remodeled rooms have picked up the experience. The service at the pool bar is now from pizzando rather than the back bar, so that's a little of a bummer, but overall 4 stars , up from 2 previously.

There is just a good feeling in the hotel. Area is great for walking the town and the square is a half bloke a way. If your in the wine country this is a good place to call home

The Hotel Healdsburg was a wonderful place to stay in wine country. The hotel was well appointed with excellent service. Our room was attractive and clean. It has a great location right on the plaza surrounded by charming shops—great for an afternoon stroll. We also enjoyed the pool.

Ideal location for exploring wine country. Fantastic continental breakfast in the warm welcoming lobby area. The cozy fireplace is a plus. An easy walk to shopping and dining.

It is a great place to stay. The room is spacious and comfortable, excellent staff, free wine tastings, very good breakfast and free parking. It’s in a great location on the square - can walk all over.

The hotel is beautiful and in ideal location within walking distance of restaurants and shops.
The room we had was large and beautifully decorated which we loved. However, the price was much higher than expected and when I went online afterwards, I saw that the price was almost $500 less than what we paid!
In addition, we booked massages at the spa and the showers were not working. Our appt was at 2 pm and hotel manager would only let us extend our check out until 3:30 pm so we could shower. Although, we appreciated the gesture, 30 minutes was not nearly enough for both my daughter and I to shower and get ready for Mother’s Day dinner at Dry Creek Kitchen rushing out with wet hair.
All that being said, it is a beautiful hotel and we would recommend it if at more reasonable price.

I love hotel Healdsburg and have stayed here many times but this recent stay was disappointing. The hotel service was lacking (reception and room service in particular). The phones were broken, room service line was busy the entire stay, sewage truck was vacuuming sewage out of the courtyard space and was very loud all morning/afternoon, room service couldn’t deliver simple items like ketchup for fries, and front desk was very rude at check out. It’s an expensive hotel so this stay did not meet expectations.

The property is right on the square and has 2 amazing restaurants downstairs, which also supports their breakfast service. The service was truly amazing, fresh baked treats, and 'freshen' up cleaning while I was out for the evening. They also made valet parking super easy and have all the guest preregistered for valet. Truly 5-star service.

Property was beautiful. My only complaint is we booked 2 premier king rooms - one was considerably smaller than the other. I asked ar the front desk and she said they were both premier king rooms. Disappointing that one was so much smaller for the same high price.

We stayed in a plaza suite which was expensive and large, but the room was a little bit strange with a long hallway and unusual layout. It had big shutters on the windows to cut the road noise, which made it dark.

The staff is friendly. We like the pool and gym but the gym was HOT. It needs to be cool at all times. Also, our room was above the car reception/parking area and was very loud. Really disappointed as the hotel was empty and we could have been assigned a quieter room. We liked the coffee amenities in the room but both mugs were cracked which was weird. Not our best stay at HH but we will try again in the future.
