Very nice property at the Canyons Village. Full kitchen well equipped. Definitely be back.

Had a great stay. We were there during the quiet season so some stores were closed and there were not a lot of people around. However, we enjoyed the quietness. The views were really nice and the room was super comfortable. There was a fireplace and a full kitchen along with plenty of seating and an in unit washer and dryer. Balcony was spacious. Would recommend this place.

Great place to stay

This was our Third time staying at sundial. Check in was easy. The location is amazing with the amenities and a few restaurants and the sky tram is amazing. When we arrived, our room was open with the lock latch, and we walked in and a maintenance person had put his sunglasses on our counter. A wash rag was used in our bathroom and the back door was open. We called the main lobby. He came to retrieve the sunglasses and clean up the mess on our patio. But we just threw the rag underneath the sink. The balcony was in disarray with a hose the entire time and very dirty. The room was quiet and clean and it did the job for the weekend. In the past, we have not had to pay for parking and they said we had to pay $25 a night.

I really wanted to love Sundial. The exterior, decor and furnishings are beautiful, the loft was a cool little space and a hit with the teens and the outdoor music venue was fun to observe from the balcony. I really thought we’d be getting a super fun family weekend away for what this unit cost. We were wrong. There’s not enough available characters to adequately describe our stay, but I’ll do my best. Decor and furnishings are nice, the construction is VERY poor. The stairs, doors, LVP flooring and beds are rickety and creaky. So badly that it will wake anyone sleeping if you so much as roll over in the night, not to mention if you need to use the bathroom. The stairs leading up to the loft are the worst, so incredibly loud. 2 of the stairs have a slope to them that will dump you right down all 20 stairs if you’re not careful. We learned that the hard way. The beds were so uncomfortable, we went to Walmart and bought air mattresses after the first night and left a night early with no refund because we couldn’t get any sleep between the creaking of our unit, the unit next door and the horrible bed situation. For what this place costs, I’m sure they could afford at least decent mattresses. People go on vacation to relax and enjoy themselves, this was a horrible experience. Sundial is not worth the price tag. Also, pay attention to the parking, it is not free or included. And they pay a service to police it that will ticket you if your tire is on the line in small stalls.

Sorry wish I could give a 5 star but I was disappointed -it wasn't clear to me about parking should just have added it to the cost of the room. Had to go down every night and pay $25.90 ($25.00 .90 cents fee) didn't want to download the app. No free parking! Description said room had a whirlpool tub - actually was a garden tub. Said balcony - all I got was a dinky patio (although was close to pool). Condo seemed old scratched up, hardwood floors had rugs that kept slipping. Decor was nice. Given no amenities except bottled hand soap we didn't like, lotion, shampoo and rinse not good quality. Happy kitchen had plenty of utensils and kitchenware. Was told explicitly no pets - saw pets all over the place - apparently owners can bring their pets.

Parking is a little annoying, but everything else was awesome

My recent overnight stay at Sundial Lodge was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and efficient staff made check-in a breeze and made me feel right at home. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a cozy bed that ensured a great night's sleep. One of the best parts of my stay was the hotel's amazing pool. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind, surrounded by beautiful views. Overall, Sundial Lodge exceeded my expectations with its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic amenities. I highly recommend it for a delightful and memorable stay.

The condo was the perfect layout for our family and location was great

Called ahead of time was told if there was no blender in unit house keeping could get us one. No blender available. We would have brought our own.

Beautiful surroundings! Time to upgrade the rooms. Especially the beds.

This area is great. We usually stay right in town but this nice and with all the happenings with the 4th it made it fun

Don’t charge you for every little amenity

Great room and amenities. Only wish there were better dining options without having to drive into town.

This got advertised as a 1 bedroom condo but it only had a full size mattress. There was a leaking sewage pipe in the parking garage that made the area and vehicle smell really bad. The pool area closed at 10pm which is sort of standard but summer weekends could probably be extended for private property resort areas. The building is very difficult to navigate and confusing inside. The rooms and floors are not numbered in a way to easily get around. There is no late night guest service so don’t check in after 10pm. It is a hassle to get your room key. Signage isn’t appropriately placed or marked with instructions on what to do. Sundial was just okay, I’ll probably stay somewhere else next time.

Great rooms

The Sundial Lodge is nice and peaceful. The Park City condo community is a bit overwhelming as a whole as they have successfully crammed a lot into a small, somewhat confusing design. We had a good time, bit would rate it a 4/5 based on other resorts that we have spent time at over the years.

Bathroom sliding door was very difficult to close all the way. Shower floor not graded poorly, water pooled in center. Unfinished drywall repairs on ceiling, unsightly access panels. Balcony door functioned poorly. Remote control for TV did not work. Strong chemical smells (cleaning?) throughout building the entire stay. We never communicated with anyone.

Loud. It looked like they were remodeling some rooms near us and there was banging all night long. Hard to get sleep. Be careful of the white covers at the pool/hot tub. My daughter’s leg fell all the way in. Ruined the last day of our trip because she couldn’t walk. Nowhere to eat but like 2 places out of maybe 20 we walked by. Everything was closed.

Sun Dial was one of our favorites. We stay there 4 to 5 times a year. This year we wete blindsided by a $50 patking fee. It should be up front if theres a parking fee.Also, there was no one at the check in desk. We had to call a number to figure out were our room key was. We will not be staying at the SunDial again. There are more atractive places to stay in park city without an extra fee for parking and person to person customer interaction.

this is a very worn out, bare bones hotel masquerading as a high-end resort. amenities are minimal for the price paid. I don’t think I saw any staff the whole time we were here. Hard to score hospitality when there was none at all.

Loved this property! Very quiet and relaxing! Perfect place for a staycation!

Nice cozy place to stay

Clean, kitchen, ski in/ski out, very easy walking to ski lift.

No turn down or cleaning service: it’s a hotel room without the amenities of cleaning service or shuttle to and from the city. Shuttle only goes to a bus stop. Other hotels in the area all had shuttles to down town. Also a bit misleading bc when reserving it states Park City but it’s actually Cannons which is fine if you are an expert or advanced skier.

We loved the location from the room to the gondola. The ski/boot room was convenient and they even warm your boots!

Sundial is located in the center of Canyons resort- superb location.
