The condo is in the perfect location. It faces the ocean and the lush pool area and is high enough for a great view. The furnishings are very tasteful as well as comfy in the living areas. The master bedroom also had a balcony door and another terrific view. The master bath is huge as is the tub,which makes the shower look even smaller. The second bedroom's beds need new mattresses but are bearable. On the whole we had a fantastic long weekend in this unit and would come back.

Location is good. Beds are very uncomfortable, everything is dated & need to be replaced

The kitchen had all full size appliances including dishwasher. Had all the dishes we needed except cookie sheet for roasting veggies. There were grills by the pool. The private access to the beach was short walk from room and the beach area was very large...did not have to rely on low tide to have beach time. The condo was good sized 2 bed 2 bath with the in each room. The place was well maintained and clean. We will be back.

We were pleased with our experience. The only problem was parking, it seemed limited and not good for suv sized vehicles.

The unit was very dated. The ac only went down to 74. The mattress was old and wore out. The parking lot was big enough for a VW.

It was OK but there was nothing about the he stay — the unit, the amenities, etc. notable.

Great place to stay..rooms were very clean with a nice ocean view balcony. The best thing about this location is the private beach access just a few steps from our room! Will definitely stay here again

This particular unit was plush and felt like visiting someone's home rather than a rented unit. We would definitely like to stay here again, and would be very happy requesting this particular unit as well.

I loved staying there. The staff were very accommodating to any needs we had and were incredibly friendly. The location of the place and the aminities in the place were wonderful. By far the best place I’ve stayed

...just know that you do not receive the exact Hodnett unit you see in the Vrbo listing...I was surprised at the decor when I walked in -questioned if we were in the right place- because on vrbo I booked a unit with cheery beach decor with pale blue walls and happy colors...and walked into something completely different. It was nice, but a totally different vibe.

Called the hotel 6:30 pm letting them know the sheets were not clean. They did not choose to replace them, I had to wash them that night. Did not have enough detergent to wash the dirty blanket so they sent up a new one, which did not look any better. The night staff did not seem to be very helpful. They left 2 more loads of laundry detergent for me in the morning, however they did bring a new comforter.

We were in unit 416 and had a great stay. We liked the condo, felt it was clean, convenient, and comfortable. There was a good view of the courtyard, pool, and a limited view of the ocean. It was very easy to get out on the beach and walk. The parking spaces are a little tight but it can be dealt with for a few days.

The hotel was quiet and in an excellent location. Wonderful for families. We stayed in Unit 138. It was decorated cute but the water pressure was pretty bad and the washer and dryer was super old but functional. The beds, however, were the most horrible ones I've ever slept on. It was like sleeping on box springs. I was literally sore in spots every morning. Egg crates or a thick mattress pad would help the situation TREMENDOUSLY. I would never ever stay in this hotel again for fear of getting beds like that again.

Location is great, price is right, rooms are perfect for a family, and staff is completely incompetent and rude.

Accommodations were convenient and provided plenty of space.

DO NOT PAY the extra money for the 'ocean view'.....you have to go out on your rather small balcony and turn your head to the right to see the bit of ocean! Totally NOT WORTH IT! Condo 306 is extremely in need of a renovation/updating. Twin beds in second bedroom were hard as a rock and the king in the master was only slightly better. Memory foam on all could work wonders! I've heard there are some other condos on the property that are more updated, so check it out before you go. The location to the village is great, the property and beach are well maintained. Definitely ask when the unit you're renting was last refurbished!

Great for the whole family. Nice outdoor amenities. Pool, 2 Jacuzzi's and several charcoal grills. We grilled out in the evening by the pool then called the kids over to eat. Then it was back to the pool or a walk on the beach after dinner. Friendly people. Just very relaxing. Close to restaurants within walking distance or rent bikes from the office ride to the pier and The Village to shop and eat, or visit the lighthouse. The rooms were spacious with separate bedrooms and bathrooms for us and the kids. Full kitchen gave us a chance to hang out and eat breakfast as a family and not always eat out. Look forward to going back.

We planned this trip at the last minute, and went through Expedia to see what was available. St Simons Island was our first choice, but we didn't know anything about Hodnett Cooper's Beach Club. We were very pleasantly surprised from the minute we drove in. We loved the Island, and The Beach Club was beautiful and comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely stay there again!

If you are looking for a place to get away from the fast pace and large crowds then you will find peace and quiet here.They certainly offer a stress free environment here. No wild parties or loud distractions. Everyone i came in contact with was very polite even the guests.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We loved the easy access to the beach. The pool and garden areas was beautiful and lovely. The décor in the room was a little too excessive with (tropical and beach) artifacts but nothing to keep me from coming back. I would recommend the facility to family and friends and I look forward to my return.

This place was within walking distance to the Chelsea restaurant. It was a nice little walk to Mallory St.(Mallery) and the Village/lighthouse, too. However, the unit was much smaller than expected, the air conditioner wasn't working great,and the sliding glass door in the master bedroom wouldn't close/lock. The parking spaces under the condos are WAY too narrow!! Overall, a good place.
