It was great experience feels like home…

Clean, in process of being upgraded but rooms are nice enough. Great location near beach, shops, restaurants. Quiet residencial area. Our room was quite small but I noticed most were much bigger. Biggest downside was no coffee in room.

Staff was great!!! Property was older but VERY clean. Property had laundry facilities and available outside barbecue and fire pit. Conveniently located near a Safeway.

Our room was perfect for our needs. 3 comfortable queen sized beds for our family of 5 and my daughters best friend. We all slept well for a decent price. Not a fancy room but good for our needs considering we spent most of our time out of the room. We were able to rest, clean up and an added perk was the mini fridge and microwave. Also the hotel is close to everything. Only one thing spooked our girls, a spider 🕷 on the bed. Once we dealt with that it was good.

Not cleaning the room

Came out for the weekend for a concert. Very accommodating check in since we arrived late at night. Room was very clean and bed was comfy! Looking forward to staying here again :)

Its a okay place if you just want a place to sleep. I booked a 3-bed unit through Expedia. The actual room we got was not what showed online which was fine as there were 3 beds in the suite. The suite only had one chair which was hard for two adults and three kids where kids needed to eat at the desk. One bed was in a separate room where no Ac or vent in the room, so it was warm all the time in that room. Staff were friendly and able to communicate through texting.

Clean and comfy, pet friendly

Stay here for one night as an add on night to a weekend trip. Pics looked great, reality not the same. Older place, in desperate need of renovation. Suites??? Very much a motel. Weird order when entering room. Room we had did have 3 beds helpful for family of 5. But really cramped. Sheets had stain on bed Took a couple hours to get them changed but they did come and change linen. Few amenities. Parking also cramped. Did not received text to check in at 3 pm like they said I would. Advance hold on credit card seemed excessive. Fee from facility on top of fee charged by hotel.com where reservation was made. Overall, it’s served its purpose, but from pics and for the price did not live up to expectation.

I came to this hotel and I found the nicest lady Cheryl. She helped us out with open arms and I appreciate her a lot. Everything in the rooms was nice and very spacious and clean we enjoyed our stay here very much and most definitely will stay here again thank you again Cheryl.

The hotel was clean. Easy check in. The lady cleaning the room even helped us take our luggage up. That’s unheard of and above and beyond. It’s in a great location. It’s an older place but updated. Best bang for your buck.

Excellent costumer services the people is working at the front offices, I loved the way how they are.

Front desk lady had a bad attitude and was blaming me for a price total error on her system. Pricing wasn't matching expidia totals and try to charge me more. At the end she did apologized and charge the remaining matching total amount . The other inconvenience was about there RESORT fee??? THERES NO RESORT AT ALL NO EXTRA AMENITIES FOR THEM TO BE CHARGING RESORT FEES. OVERALL IT DID TURN MY STAY SOUR. BUT THANKS ANYWAY.

We were on a ski trip and stayed two nights. Room was large, heating was working properly and the bathroom is spacious and clean. There is a fridge and a microwave and a cable TV for the kids. I really liked the two different colors on the towels that help us distinguish which person used it. Parking was just in front of the room. Checking/checkout was a breeze.

Good place to stay to explore South lake Tahoe. Bathroom was a little small for 5 people 3bed room. Great staff.

The couple managing the property were very helpful with local information. Super nice folks.

We've been here a few times already, it's a good property , nice staff , nice rooms , convenient area , always clean rooms and I like the laundry washer on site . Will definitely come again

Bathroom was not clean. Room reeked of marijuana. Air conditioner was loud and filthy. No Ice machine on premise. We left, took the loss and booked a room at a different hotel. Wound up paying for two hotel rooms because we refused to stay at the Blue Bird.

I booked a “newly renovated” room. I figured that the property was probably undergoing restorations and was a work in progress but the fact that I booked a newly renovated room, I thought it would be OK for a one night stay. I didn’t expect the property to be a 5 star resort but I did not expect to find blood on the bathroom window sill, a pair of dirty socks beside the bed, an AC unit 2 inches from the bed or trash & debris alongside every bed and piece of furniture. No propane in the bbq or the fire pit. For the price tag I am incredibly disappointed. Upon check in we were informed that the newly renovated unit was already given away so we could either have the three beds like we booked in an older room or a newly renovated 2 beds for the same price. She mentioned that she could give us the smaller room because the next guest hadn’t checked in yet. I thought, we’d hate to take someone else’s room that they were promised. We decided that we’d keep our room but after we were settling in for the night after returning from the lake, we found all of the above. Very ran down, and disappointingly gross. I will never stay here again and think it’s only right to have a partial refund for the experience. Pretty sure the motel 6 would’ve been a better experience with a MUCH smaller price tag.

We didnt like the place the room stink to much my husband could"t stand de odor we check in around 930 and left the place around 1140pm the same day we did the check out. We decide to book a different hotel.

Older and a not in the best shape. But we felt safe and the beds were ok. We had a great time but probably won’t be back
