I really liked this place as it gave us the chance to rest and enjoy ourselves. There was a lot of construction going on but there was one VERY nice pool open. Putt putt. And the beach access was so amazing! My husband and I just enjoyed this hotel.

Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Although it could do with some upgrades and minor repairs. Nothing that made the stay uncomfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure.

As a traveller, there is no use staying at a resort without a restaurant. The restaurant was closed as was the swimming pool. The Aanuka website should have drawn our attention to this prior to payment.

The resort is under renovation which was disappointing as no restaurant on site which was inconvenient as we were passing through at arrived after 6pm. Probably won’t have booked if I had known. Rooms were a run down but comfortable. Had a nice walk around in beautiful spot with some great family amenities and if wasn’t in reno mode then good spot for family holiday.

The stay was OK. Didn't know about the pool or restaurant being closed. On arrival communication was good but on departure when handing the key in was pretty rude. Handed the key to Reception all she could say was "oh right". No "how was your stay, was everything OK, etc." Young girl, pretty rude and needs to be retrained in how to be polite and how to be friendly, particularly as a receptionist and the first person people see when arriving at your facility.

Have stayed here previously and it was great, property is under renovation and there is no notice on Expedia, and you only find out when you arrive and they just blamed Expedia…. All dining options are closed and pools ECT, can’t even get a coffee.

I had to drive 34 kilometers round trip due to Lack of signage then another 1/2hr through local housing still looking for reception which was a demountable surrounded by construction fencing.At check in I was informed the restaurant and pool were closed due to refurbishment.At no point of booking this resort for a 2night stay were we made aware of this.
The room stunk of mildew and the kitchenette and bathroom had mould.. barely slept and left at 5am having agreed with the reception that we would only be staying overnight due to driving from Sydney we were fatigued at our 8pm arrival.
All in all unacceptable.

Resort is undergoing renovations so there is currently no restaurant or bar facilities and the reception is a temporary building in the car park. No notice of this on the app or in the email sent prior to arrival. Was directed to another resort up the road for breakfast. And had to go elsewhere for dinner. No discount on the booking either.
Had a spa suite, which has a glass roof over the spa (which is in the corner of the bedroom) lovely during the day with a view of the palm trees. But horrible to try and sleep with a light shining in directly towards the bed. The suite itself was nice though. Spacious and close the reception instead of all the way up the other end of the resort where I have been for previous stays.

Communication was poor. Rooms don’t get made up. TV doesn’t work. Extra charge for room to be made. Overall apart from the nice young lady at check-in the place is a dive.

It was disappointing arriving to see that the restaurant and bar was under construction and could not be used. We were not advised of this when booking and was one of the reasons we choose this accomodation in the first place. The wifi hardly ever worked. The gardener decided to start his day out the front of our accommodation every morning… even the leaf blower at 8am one day… not relaxing at all. Staff were lovely though. There was also a loud buzzing noise of sorts one night at 1.30am which went on for an hour. It sounded like a radiator or some sort of machine.

At checkin and checkout i found the staff to be professional, welcoming and helpful. Our unit was as described, very comfortable and clean with a very relaxing garden type environment. Being a resort car parking was a secure, gated area leaving a short, comfortable walk to the unit. Unfortunately our stay was for only a single night. The whole facility was very clean, tidy and cared for despite many renovations taking place. The onsite restaurant was closed because of renovations. I would stay here again and believe that the full benefit of this resort would be gained with a longer stay. Highly recommended.

Great hotel. Pool freezing cold and in need of a clean. Spa was boiling hot. Room was great. Wifi could do with a boost as needed due to lack of phone coverage. Breakfast expensive with a lot of waiting to have drinks and food topped up on the stations.
Great little beach to explore.
Carparks away from rooms, bit of travel to get there however luggage trollies were available.
Would probably come back.

Very helpful staff. Contacted us en route to see what time we would arrive. Very courteous at check in. Had some of local wildlife around the cabin at night and early morning. Otherwise very quiet. Very comfortable bed. Second time there and will be booking again in the future.

Beautiful place. Service by everyone at the resort and our accommodation was wonderful. Highly recommend. If you can, stay a couple of nights to enjoy the facilities. Only thing probably let it down a bit was the breakfast. The hot food wasnt warm enough which spoilt the taste

Maybe just an unlucky bad experience. Paid way over the odds for the room. Almost triple the normal motel rate in Coffs. It was a Mother's Day special event. The advertised room service is not a thing, but was the main reason for the booking. So we need to go grab food, no problem. The restaurant menu is super limited and really expensive. So we order out. Then breakfast is a big ask for 4 people but ok let's book that, given it is Mother's day. Limp or dry food you would send back and a broken coffee machine. No problems you can get a coffee but you need to pay Bondi Beach prices for an espresso in Coffs in the resort. It wasn't all negative. The rooms are great and I am sure we may have been victims of circumstance in some ways. But there is no room service, breakfast might not be what you expect and there is a lack of waterproof areas around the pools or activity areas.

The staff was all wonderful and they even offered a free breakfast if you registered to their site, which was an unexpected added perk, especially because it was a great selection! We loved the pool and the putt putt golf! Would definitely stay here again:)

The pools were dirty, the villas are old, which isnt an issue if they were properly maintained, but there was unrepaired damage to powere outlets and taps etc and whilst you could see they had received a basic clean, there were spider webs in the ceiling corners etc and dirty windows and such. The wifi rarely worked. The reataurant had only about 5 items to select from. It was just low quality all around. Finally they looked understaffed and the staff who were there were quite disinterested.

Property is tired and due for a make over, loverly location and grounds and beach front. Furniture was in pretty poor condition, torn saggy and not good in lounge, Bed was good and comfy. Breakfast was ok. Just generally needs a good renovation
