Nice stay. Clean room. Good service. Hard to park large car. Good breakfast.

The lobby staff were excellent, knowledgeable, polite and accommodating. Although Our room had AC it was a struggle to keep it comfortably cool. The tv didn’t work but we used out phones for watching shows. The car traffic and pedestrian traffic was insanely busy. We would stay in Santa Margherita next time ! Very low key and much more tranquil

Everything about our stay at this lovely seaside hotel was tops! We were able to check in early, the ladies at the front desk greeted us warmly. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a great shower. The view from our room was spectacular, overlooking the harbor. They even had free juice and water and delicious focaccia on the lobby on the evening. The breakfast buffet was delicious with both hot and cold options. We will happily return.

The staff couldn’t have been nicer when we arrived! We arrived early and as expected, our room wasn’t ready. They offered us delicious cappuccino, croissants, and water! While we were out and about, they brought our luggage to our room. The room is beautiful and extremely clean and comfortable! We look forward to sitting out on the balcony this evening!

We loved staying at the Hotel Astorio! It was in a beautiful location but the best thing about it was the staff! Every single person was friendly and personable, had a great sense of humor and spoke excellent english!

Quite one of the hest hotels I have ever stayed in. Friendly and very helpful staff and very convenient seafront location. A short walk to the ferry point for Portofino etc.. Comfortable and quiet room with efficient air-conditioning. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.

I was pleased that upon arrival at 1:00 pm my room was available for check in. Both Greta and Sarah went out of their way to make sure my stay was exceptional. Sarah drove me to the Splendido Hotel in the Hotel’s plush VW. She also made sure I had transportation from Portofino back to Hotel Astoria. As a solo traveler I felt safe walking around the area of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I liked the location of the hotel, and the check in was easy and fast. Sarah at the front desk was awesome providing me on how to spend the day which was very helpful. However the soap provided with the room is a chip, so small you can used once at the most. Apparently the shampoo was for both body and hair in a dollop quantity which was not enough for my long hair. The breakfast was continental, eggs were left over from the day before. The staff at the breakfast area Mikaela was very rude. I asked for a medium boiled egg and cappuccino she bring to my friend.,every time I ask for something she brings it to my friend instead . The choices of the breakfast items were limited and the food was poorly prepared. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Great value for money, best position

This is a very good hotel with a great location and good breakfast. We came by car and were able to park directly in front of the hotel. We chose this place because of it’s location I relationship to Portofino and Cinque Terra. We were able to walk to the train station and nearby restaurant. And the hotel faces the water. The reason they did not get all excellent from us is due to the lack of communication between desk personnel (we kept getting asked the same questions) and they desk person was unaware we were bringing a car even though I had been communicating on Expedia with them. And the young man who we first met at the desk had an attitude which was not as friendly as the rest of the staff. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

They have the best breakfast and their American coffee is excellent. The hotel it’s very nice I would say there any time. In addition, the staff are friendly.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Very helpful staff and clean rooms. Breakfasts every morning were very generous. Not much more you can ask for.

Stay was pleasant, and staff super helpful. Spa is treasure! Only complaining about this hotel is way too hard bed for the skandinavian taste, and poor noice-insulation. When I don’t have anyone with me who is snoring, I don’t wish that I need to keep a wake because someone in other room’s is snoring.. :)
