Superb escape for some Easter sun.
The only negative is they need to enforce the 1 hour sunbed reservation rule. Too many people take advantage and turn it into a towels-on-sunbed race in the morning, which really spoils the whole experience.

Myself and my mum stayed here and it was such an amazing experience from start to finish.. we got upgraded to a suite overlooking the sea, the room was amazing and clean.. the extra special touches made our holiday.. especially all the staff who couldn’t do enough for us.. the hotel should be proud of everyone of them!! Thank you for an incredible 3 days and we really hope we can return…

If you're planning a family holiday to Lanzarote, this is a must stay hotel. Massive family suite (with a PlayStation 4 in kids room!), clean rooms and property, a variety of restaurants to choose from, gym, play room, etc. there's a ton of things to keep family and kids busy. We stayed for 4 nights. There are more than 5-6 pools to choose from (adults, kids and infants ). Hotel staff is very polite and friendly. Beach is right outside the resort. The Christmas decorations at the resort were top notch and Instagram worthy!! Definitely going back again.

Wonderful buffet breakfast
Pool area lovely. Room needed to be cleaned more thoroughly.

Lovely stay, staff absolutely MAKE this hotel. We have stayed before so knew hotel a bit dated but the animation team, Eric at the pool, the breakfast amazing and the waiting /bar staff exceptional. Our boys also loved the football camp - E20 pay on day & they loved it! Thank you Scott & Garry. It’s an expensive hotel but loads of facilities for kids.. lots of space for the 5 of us.. would absolutely recommend.
2.5
Good place to stay with small children given the facilities, kids club activities, babysitting etc. Service is good and staff all make an effort. It’s a typical beach, pool and sun hotel but does everything very well!

Excellent

Took this luxury extra few days break as an add on to our week in Lanzarote. It was a lovely choice and one we hope to repeat..only thing that I couldnt understand was the pool loungers are too tight together. Impossible to get onto the loungers. No need for this.

Amazing hotel

This was an amazing hotel. Location is perfect, bang in the middle of Playa Blanca.
The hotel is kept to a very high standard, although it’s appearance particularly the rooms is a bit dated. Definitely not “tired” but just older design.
The food was wonderful and great choice. I don’t have kids, play team seemed excellent but I did think kids pool area was lacking in imagination.
Best exercise classes, tuition was fantastic, both Pablo and Luka were great instructors.
Pool area wonderful, always sun beds available and grounds kept spotless.
All staff were great and there was just a happy feel amongst staff and generally in the hotel.
Would definitely recommend.

Nice large hotel.very well maintained. Good location for walks along promenade to town or Marina. Restaurant seemed short staffed. Very clean. Heated pool in winter would have been nice.

Great. Please contact us later in the year for a Jan 24 visit.
2.5
Room was huge, also balcony although not much sun with garden view.
Breakfast had everything (porridge, muesli, bacon eggs any way, beans, tomatoes, fruit, rolls toast, staff formal but efficient.
Huge number of sun loungers by pools, although idiots left reserve towels on many as usual.
Found book exchange in kiddie area
Only used Italian restaurant, which was fine, as so many restaurants 500-1000m away, better ones in marina area.
Superb beach with loungers, parasols.
Reception staff very efficient.
So large that a little impersonal, never meet the same people.
Bedding blankets a bit strange, and too small, we should have asked for duvets.

Good hotel but needs a refurbishment in the rooms

A fantastic place for children and families; Staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. The general hotel, and facilities are well maintained, and our one complaint was that bathrooms were not in a great state of repair, however were very clear, just aged.

Really enjoyed our week. Brilliant for the kids aged 9 and 12, kept them entertained. They Loved the pool party day and daily soccer school next door in the morning 10-12. Kids are already asking to go back.

Feel the hotel is dated and needs to spend money on improving it.
The gym for a 5 star hotel was terrible. All the cardio machines besides the one running machine worked! This is for a 400 room hotel.
The AC was not brilliant as it took ages for it work if it worked at all. There were 3 controls on it rather than selecting your room temperature.
Lighting in some parts of the hotel needs improving as it can be spooky walking to another end of the hotel at night.

Amazing property in Playa Blanca, right by the sea.
Experienced personnel and high class service. We forgot a charger in the room and Hotel guest service contacted us to have it shipped.
Very nice pools and incredible beach walk both to town and Marina.
Too crowded in August and little respect about the rule on not reserving sunbeds.
Long trousers for dining in 2022, looks really old fashioned. Mostly on a buffet type of dinner.

Amazing place. A must visit if you can.

The place does need to be renovated for years already

Lovely stay for my husband’s 60th. Cannot fault the staff - all wonderful throughout.
We normally stay next door but this was a treat. Buffet food very good compared to other restaurants.
Only thing they could improve is to include jugs of tap water at dinner (you have to pay for tiny bottles) and better entertainment for adults - only plinky plonk pianist at night, whereas next door they have tribute ac to - some cheesy but very entertaining!

Fabulous property for families with children.

Room are spacious and clean and staff is discreet but always there to help.

Fabulous hotel with very helpful staff who ensure that any aspect you need is taken care of immediately.
Everything about this hotel from the facilities to the cleanliness of the rooms and service is exceptional.
Would highly recommend staying here if you can.
We had a wonderful time and were looked after impeccably.

Our room was in the family 'annex' which was a 10 minute walk away from the main hotel and all the facilities were closed! No pool, no snack bar, no restaurant. Even all but 1 of the fish tanks on the walkway to the hotel were closed. Not ideal when you have small children. The main hotel was lovely, but there was construction going on at the pool bar for a week, ehich wasn't very relaxing.

Princesa Yaiza was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Soo accommodating the chef came out every breakfast and dinner to make a special gluten free meal for me. And the Japanese restaurant was amazing!! Highly reccomend

This was our third visit to the Princesa Yaiza, and I'm fairly sure it'll be our last.
In the past, this hotel really excelled at providing a first class service. The style has always been a bit rustic, but service, amenities and food made up for it.
Sadly, the Yaiza has emerged from the pandemic as a shadow of its former self. Some of the same amazing staff are still there, but there are management issues. For example, not taking action when guests reserve sun loungers with towels at 8 am... We were unable to enjoy the tool as there were no loungers available at all on three separate days. Many loungers were "reserved", but no guests were actually there. In addition, the quality of the food in the buffet restaurants has really gone down a lot. It just looks like they're trying to save money by using cheaper ingredients, and it shows. And finally, the opening times of key amenities like the gym, the kids' soft play and similar are a joke now. The gym doesn't open until well after breakfast time, so no chance to work out first thing. And the kids' soft play is no longer open in the afternoons... but from 9 to 11 PM, when my kids were in bed.
I tried to flag issues while there, but no changes were made, and the hotel did not do anything to retain me as a repeat guest. So I'll try another hotel next time I'm in need of Winter Sun. What a shame!

We were very happy with everything. The hotel location and staff were lovely in every way. We intend returning for another visit next year

Excellent hotel. No faults

Fabulous stay, free upgrade to a suite, whole hotel clean and pools amazing. Only one pool heated though, not sure whether due to low occupant or if that’s normal. Breakfast buffet was lovely, freshly made omelette, meats, cheeses, juices, cereals etc, anything you could possibly need.
2.5
The location perfect. Staff marvellous . Sadly very quiet due to Covid. Pools beautiful . Food very good. Cleanliness perfect .
2.5
Perfectly situated across the promenade from a glorious beach, the hotel has all the facilities and privacy you might wish for. Only downside is the high cost of the evening buffet meals, but there are plenty of restaurants close by.
2.5
This is easily the best 5 star on the island. All suites. Exceptional views. Great food. 5 pools. The works. But the key difference is the Kiko Land (their kids club). It’s by far the best we have seen across the world in terms of range of activities and care shown. Special thanks to Margharita, Paola, Manuel and Blas who made it a special stay.
2.0
Lovely hotel, staff good and helpful. Pools and lounging area very good. Blankets on beds were very slippery and kept falling off the bed. Good TV, bathroom. Balcony very dark and never got the sun.
I just feel that it would have been nice to have some sort of enquiry during my stay as to whether I was happy or if there was anything that could have been done to improve my experience. Just Public Relations.
What really left a really bad taste in the mouth was the charge of 10 euros per hour for a check out after midday. Seeing as I didn't arrive until around 8pm I would have thought it good Public Relations to make this available, especially as there was no one moving into the room after me.

Second time to Princess Yaiza and not disappointed. Great hotel, lovely suite, excellent staff. Great location, so close to beach. Love this place.
