The beds were clean, that was the only thing that was clean. The room smelled very much of smoke, even in the shower. The desk clerk was helpful and friendly

A cheap budget aparthotel right in the commercial centre. It is basic, but clean. Its location does mean there are a few beggars and homeless right outside. It is what it is a cheap but clean and reasonably comfortable place to stay.

The good: it was rather clean and quiet. Check-in after hours was easy despite the reception being closed. They gave us 3 pieces of paper related to laundry, wifi, and breakfast. Nothing on check-out.
A small kitchen in the room -- really helpful. We had a fridge, kettle, dishes, and other cookware.
Some of the rooms had hard floors. Ours had carpet which felt dirtier.
Convenient location.
Fair price.
The bad: For two people, they only gave one bath towel.
No holder for the shower hose.
There was NO communication about check-out time since we checked in after reception closed. As we were leaving the room around the time we thought check-out was, the receptionist came up to butt us out. That felt a bit intrusive.

Do not go during the summer ! Or when it is hot. There is no air con nor a fan.
If you open the window because of the heat you will hear depending if you have a room in the front or at the back of the apartment lots of noise or the beggers or drunks singing or souting.I have stayed twice now.During the day the beggers will ask for money
There is no hot water after 10pm.Seems they have set the heater timer to switch off at that time.
If you have 2 wifi devices. You need to get a password for each.
Good points:Central location.Opposite Jaude shopping mall and close to tram transport.
There is a kitchen with fridge and microwave to cook and buy food from supermarket below.
Negatives: No hair dryer in the bathroom.
The bathroom is a shower with liquid soap for shampoo and shower gel in one.
If you are arriving after 8pm you need to inform them beforehand so you have access code to get in and access code to the mini safe which has your room key.
Room key is a key and not a electronic key with key fob to access main door after 8pm.
I will go back during the cold spell because they have heating in room and bathroom but I have not tried the heating yet.
Maybe third time lucky at this place ?
Go during winter if summer or hot find a hotel which has air con which I did between my 2 visits to this apartment

Weather was hot when I was there 31c.No air conditioning.Opened window to cool down but outside was noise from a massive fan. That did not help my sleep so put ear plugs on.
The room was big and was like a studio flat.
Had microwave,2 hobs+ a fridge with a kettle with plates and cups and cutlery with washing up liquid and tea towel
I stayed on top 6th floor which I used lift.
No automatic light in the corridor. You need to press a dim light switch which no one at reception explained but lucky for my experience with lots of hotels pressed and corridor was lite so found my room. The room is the traditional key operated and not the magnetic card one which tends to mal-function if you keep it near your credit cards or something magnetic.
The bathroom was only shower with toilet together.
Liquid soap dispenser which you used for hair shampoo and body soap.
There was several towels on the bathroom shelves.
There is no daily cleaning provided during the 3 days that I stayed. No hair dryer unless you ask reception which closes at 8pm.
If you arrive after 8pm you get an email with a code to get into the apartment and then a safe code to get your room key.
There was breakfast at 9 euro but times varies by 30 minutes it starts depending on weekday or weekends.
All that this place is good is location opposite one of Jaude shopping mall and on the ground floor Carrefour which I bought food for breakfast and for dinner.

Good central location opposite shopping centre with discounted underground parking accessed by lifts. Only 200 metres from city square and 400 from historic district. No frills but perfectly adequate with free Wifi, kitchenette and microwave (even an electric kettle!). Pillows could be improved but bed linen clean.
3.7
Great good value place for a short visit. Ideal if you want to keep control on costs as the corner kitchen means you can easily prepare your own food

Very good. Nice location.

The apartments are ideally located in the city centre and a supermarket is situated underneath the block. I travelled with my cousin and we each had separate apartments, unfortunately mine had bed bugs but his was fine.
Overall the place isn’t bad but the hygiene standards need to be significantly improved.

We were based in a top floor studio for 3-days whilst exploring the surprisingly interesting city and the lovely Puy de Dome area. Couldn’t be more central but it was very quiet, immediately above a supermarket so no problem about food and the city centre was literally round the corner. Lots of restaurants, large shopping centre and 4 cinemas all within minutes on foot. The staff were great and the room, whilst somewhat basic, was very clean, spacious and everything worked. Ticked every box and great value!

There is no air conditioning, so may be warm for summer vacation.

The hotel was well located in the centre of town, near the Cathedral and a nice square. The room and service were both good for the price, although my room had a large window with a see-through curtain opening onto a courtyard, which wasn't ideal.

Hotel is very central and ideal for exploring the city and doing shopping etc, tram stop very close by as well.
Downsides are, very cramped bathroom, some silly items missing such as a shelf to put items on and nowhere to hang up a towel, no hook for the shower head either meaning you have to constantly hold it while showering, just irritating stuff.
Loose kitchen cupboard door nearly fell off as well, i fixed it with a screwdriver on a swiss army knife in seconds, this type of silly stuff really should be sorted, very poor maintenance imo, cleanly ness etc was very good so more irritating than serious in the faults dept.

Rugby weekend. Hotel centrally located and well maintained. Ran out of hot water one morning for reasons undefined, but otherwise all services good and staff friendly and helpful.

I wouldn't stay here again. Building work outside.
Request for twin room ignored. Difficult to find.
Access lift is dirty.
3.7
Absolutely dreadful, a tiny room in a hotel above Carrefore in the middle of a building site. Bed comfy though and clean but thats the only good thing about it. Absolutely over priced.
3.7
Maybe in 2-3 years, this will be a better location, but for now it's over a huge construction site. The rooms were small, smelled of cigarettes, and had a 1/2 dozen small, irritating problems - in ours, no handle to bathroom door, locks were very difficult to manage, heat that made noise, construction noise ...
Clermont is a nasty little city and this hotel fits the bill exactly. Unless you need to stay downtown, take a hotel a few KM outside the city.
3.7
The staff only speak french, so if you're not going to make your check-in before 9pm, get a translator or you'll be out of luck. Also, the beds are more like cots that hit right at calf level, and are very uncomfortable. There was very little warm, not even hot, water and the shower head had to be hand held. But what made this place extra special(in a bad way)were the dozen homeless youths and their dogs hanging out under the hotel where you park your cars. I didn't feel that myself or my car were in a safe place. Horrible!!!!!!
