Nice place, great location (for a couple of days) only a few feet to the beach , only real issue was it was 89 degrees and 87% humidity THEY HAVE NO A/C

Wonderful location, great service, and nice roomy accommodations. Everything you need for a stay. Nearby, the restaurants and coffee shop — def try the coffee shop — make a great morning walk on the beach and pier that much better.

Overall, we had a great stay here. The room was much larger than expected and in a wonderful location! My only gripe was that the wifi was not working in the rooms and there was some noise from construction on the staircase early one morning

Very close to the Ocean

The location is great We've stayed at this property a couple of times before and truly enjoyed our visits. Our disappointments this visit were the Internet was down for a couple of days, we have enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi in the past to cap off our days unfortunately the temperature at 830 in the evening was too cold to enjoy. With no housekeeping the two previous stays 2021 2022 we felt our stay was private but someone had visited our room with a couple of amenities and last we received a text from property requesting we bag up trash bags and load the dishwasher not being a huge deal but for the price of the stay and being our romantic annual get away just didn't sit well. Hopefully some of these areas will improve Always a great front desk staff and willing to assist where they can

The bed was super soft and sagging so much that I couldn’t sleep. They wouldn’t refund the remainder of our stay, so we were forced to stay and sleep on a sofa bed mattress on the floor. I don’t mind doing that in general, but not for the price we paid for the room

We had SUCH a great stay here. Everything exceeded our expectations - from the oceanfront view in the room, the cleanliness (I am SO picky about cleanliness in hotels) and the service. Everyone was SO helpful and responsive and accommodating. The location is near so many things, we never had to drive anywhere. Spa is small but cool, you can watch the sun set. We will absolutely return.

Great location and lots of space inside. There is a great patio, which we really enjoyed.

Great location. Really a timeshare that rents units. Email and text before and during our 2 night stay were all about rules and cleaning we should do before leaving. This was not enjoyable or welcoming to me. Free trolley picks up nearby. Lots of restaurants and shops. Beautiful beach. Will stay somewhere else in the area next time.

We loved our stay at San Clemente Cove. Room was spacious, clean, and had a nice view of the ocean.

I want to start out by saying that the staff was amazing & so accommodating. The room was perfect & had everything we needed. We are very familiar with San Clemente & stay there often but our usual hotel was booked. We decided on the San Clemente Cove because we enjoy being next to the pier BUT I didn’t realize how loud the parking lot & street would be. We usually stay at a hotel that is more “tucked in” but the Cove is right on the street corner. If you are looking for quiet then I don’t recommend…there’s no AC (most hotels don’t have AC here) so leaving the windows open is a must but the noise factor was crazy. We were also there on trash day which didn’t help lol. Again, this has nothing to do with the staff or property, just a little warning to others. I do think the hotel could provide some fans, maybe ones that are a little loud? That could help some!

We CANCELLED THIS RESERVATION due to the inappropriate, condescending and rude conduct of desk agent Linda. My guest's credit card was refused for incidental expenses. She was refused entry to suite prior to my planned later arrival, despite requesting her entry personally. My guest was made to feel very uncomfortable by this individual. We will not pay for this.cancellation. my attorney has been made aware of the situation. AWAITING FULL REFUND. False advertising. NO ocean view rooms whatsoever and no oceanfront ambiance experience. Do not waste your efforts on this location. FULL REFUND FROM HOTELS.COM AND THE COVE.

The San Clemente Cove was an Awesome place to stay. The front desk were amazing and very kind. I am definitely staying there again. Great location and just a fun place. The facility had underground parking which was great. Unfortunately I had to bring my work van and it did not fit. No biggy, I literally parked right outside my room. The meter was easy to use and very little cost. The San Clemente Cove was an Excellent place to stay. I will be going back.

No AC. No Parking. Room did not have ocean view as was advertising. No Smart TV. Weak WiFi. We got a 2 night stay as a bridal suite and it just did not match our expectations at all. It was very clean and well maintained. Staff was nice and helpful. Just amenities need serious updating!

Great location and the gated garage parking is a huge plus for this area. The room and facility exceeded our expectations. Definitely plan on coming back for another stay.
