Was great!

Booked the hotel for two nights and had to move for the second night to an other hotel. Main reason was the heat wave the area experienced at the dates of my stay and the fact that the AC did not work. Opening a window was not an option because of the loud street and mosquitos outside (no mosquito net), and the hotel did not have an ventilators for the room. After filing a complaint it turns out, this problem is apparently known already for at least eight months. At no point between our booking and check-in we received any heads up about the AC problem, eventhough the hotel claims to have done so, and they still advertised their rooms as climatized. Besides that we were charged twice for the breakfast. Therefore I do recommend to stay in this hotel.

Their AC broke 8 months ago, and not only did we find out from other guests this news, nobody thought to provide in room fans; the weather outside was 28C, inside it was 32c. Wouldn’t recommend if you don’t want to sleep in a sauna

The air conditioning was not working in all the hotel but they gave us a small portable fan. The menu for the dinner at the resto it's just pizza and no one with anchovies, no option of food inside the hotel for the lunch. When it is raining, you have to go out.

This hotel has free airport shuttle yet it is nestled in the adorable walkable community of St. Louis, France. The airport straddles Switzerland and France so one front door exits to France and the other exits to Switzerland. Go out the French exit to catch this airport shuttle. Walk across the covered road in front of airport and go down ramp or steps to parking lot to catch shuttle. Fantastic location of hotel!

Property was fine. We chose it for airport shuttle which was late picking us up.

The hotel is good considering the price range and its relative proximity to the airport. However, there was an issue with the advertised shuttle service. Although the instructions for locating the shuttle pick-up point were clear and helpful, upon reaching "Parking Express," there were no signs indicating the transfer. The shuttle itself was a regular taxi with no distinguishing markers other than the typical taxi sign. I only discerned I was in the right place after overhearing a conversation between the driver and other individuals mentioning the Ibis hotel at Sant Luis. Despite sending two emails inquiring about scheduling the shuttle, I received the same automated response each time, providing instructions for locating the pick-up point. As my cell phone does not work in Europe, my only means of communication with the hotel was via the internet. It's important to note that for travelers coming from overseas, Uber is not operational. Negative: Shuttle from the airport issue, the rooms are not sound proof and the breakfast is really very, very basic. Positive: the location is great, bed is comfortable and clean.

Room was clean and staff provided a free shuttle to and from airport, which was helpful! Further away from a bus/tram stop than I would have liked since the line 3 tram was under construction, otherwise one is fairly close.

I did not like the bed, blankets, small bathroom, towels and parking

The location is great for airport access. We were happy with our room, and check in. We were a little concerned as our prebooked shuttle was late coming to pick us up to transfer to the airport.

Small but nice

We had an enjoyable stay. Nice breakfast.

Overall clean, and it was nice to have an extra blanket. Otherwise, one of the most no-frills places I've stayed. TV didn't work (unless you like static), there were a couple paper cups, but no ice bucket. Bed was fine.

The shuttle provided was great but only free one way.

Good value. Comfortable room. Staff friendly and efficient. Only downside was the airport shuttle taxi service - we hadn’t realised that the free shuttle service was only one way (either from the airport to the hotel OR from the hotel to the airport) and so were taken by surprise when we were asked to pay for the return trip back to the airport. Still, the cost charged by the hotel seemed much less than if we had paid the taxi ourselves. We (and other guests) expected to get a Basel Card for free bus rides and reduced cost entrance to attractions but, as the hotel is in Saint-Louis, not Basel, that didn’t work.

Very nice as usual

As I arrived late for a layover in Basel airport, I preferred to stay closer to airport with this hotel (only 3km). The hotel says it has a shuttle and this is the tricky part! On the way to hotel, I had to wait 20mn that a shared Uber showed up with 2 other pax going somewhere else. The hotel is in the middle of a small suburban town with nothing around to have a walk and nice dinner. Fortunately shuttle was free. But when booking the way back on check-in, I was advised it’s 17€! For 3km, it’s abusive… in the end, for the fee of the hotel the fee of the return shuttle, I would have better stayed in Basel downtown where bus 50 is free for tourists staying at least 1 night in Basel. And atmosphere is dramatically different in Basel with lots of places to go out!
