Great staff. Delicious reasonably priced dinner for 5 in Safire. Very clean and LARGE room and bath.
The negative is typical tobacco stink as you have to cross casino to get to elevators. Also very surprising and unpleasant was the very strong pesticide odor in the room and bath that did not dissipate at all during our stay.

Rooms are fantastic. Though you don’t go there for tv, we were there for 5 nights for an event and there were satellite connection issues much of the time, which interrupted things. There were squeaks on the fridge cabinet door and even the light switches (how does that happen?). Also, only one of two elevators were in operation to guest rooms, even on Saturday night. Virtually everyone we ran into on the elevator mentioned the wait and didn’t know why there always seemed to be only one elevator in operation. A/C temp also seemed to be sporadic as well.

I loved our room. It was really nice. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was open late and had good food. The only bad thing was they were short staff and it took a very long time for our food to come to the table. The waitress was very apologetic; she worked tirelessly and with a good attitude and smile.

Clean, well appointed room. Staff were friendly. The only negative was that I read there was a pool, but you would need to go through the casino across a huge parking lot where there is a pool behind the gas station in the RV park.

Check in went smoothe and hotel desk staff was friendly. Hotel room was clean. Bathroom was impressive.
Bedding was scratchy. Mattress and pillows extremely hard. Pool was a VERY long walk across the parking lot. I waited for housekeeping to bring towels after asking 3 staff members and they never came, so I finally went to main desk to get them myself, after waiting more than an hour.
At the resturaunt, waiting for a server to take our orders took forever each meal, but the food was good and a decent price.
Also, there are no perks from the hotel when when you book thru Expedia. Booked directly thru them, each person would have received dinner credit each night and freeplay for each person per day. Instead, the room cost %25 more, no dinner credit, and no freeplay.
My friend and I take our birthday trip every April. This is one place we won't return to.

We have been to the casino before but never stayed in a room. The room was really nice and it has a jetted tub in the bathroom, I thing every room there has a jetted tub? The price was great too! Under $200. The gaming area was fun too. A little small but a great selection of games to play!

Overall a basic casino hotel. Nothing too fancy but it was very clean.

We've stayed here several times and always enjoy it. we just use the hotel, we don't gamble. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are a couple things with the bathroom that are not convenient. There really isn't any place to hang bath towels. There isn't a makeup mirror. A nightlight would be nice (there's light with the hair dryer but it isn't enough). Otherwise, the rooms are really nice and comfortable, the food in the Acorn restaurant is great (they've changed the menu, and the coffee is great), and staff is friendly and helpful.
