Lovely view from our room over the bay. Very helpful staff.

A hotel with many limitations. I stayed here for a business trip for two nights that coincided with a national holiday and storm Ciaran. Not a great combination to be away for work.
The check in was quick and efficient and was informed the restaurant would be closed the next night (I presumed for the holiday). I booked dinner to that night as advised booking recommended.
Restaurant had me and one other couple and very limited menu. But food was good.
Breakfast however was very disappointing, a few pastries and cheese/ham and eggs.
No staff member checked up on breakfast situation either morning during the time I was eating.
However, the biggest concern I had was that an alert was issued by the local government regarding the storm, there was no effort by the hotel staff to reassure guests and when asked directly for guidance the response was not helpful in any way. As a non speaking French visitor this made me feel very isolated and at risk and felt I needed to check out of the hotel and leave despite an official ban on travel due to storm damage.
As a guest I did not feel welcome at all.

Nice to have an upstairs and downstairs so our daughter had a room to herself.

Basic. No extractor fan in the bathroom or air conditioning in the room

Stayed here many times before - October a great time to go as things are quiet and weather excellent

When I entered my room it smelled like someone had just used the bathroom. It smelled horrible. I flushed the toilet and opened the doors to try to air it out. There was also no air conditioning, which normally wouldn’t be a problem on the beach. But there was no airflow even with both doors open so the room was uncomfortably warm all night.

Poor house wine took the edge off this stay overnight

A well_positioned, light and airy hotel with excellent restaurant where we ate both nights. We didnt make use of the pool but it seemed popular, and being covered was a bonus in the cool and drizzly weather! A pleasant walk along the coast from the hotel into the old town. Would certainly recommend.

We were welcomed very warmly by the staff. The room was very clean, and the meal in the restaurant was very, very good.

We had a great stay in Concarneau. The staff in Hôtel Restaurant de l'Océan were very friendly and helpful (we foolishly left a cable in the room, and were delighted that we could retrieve it the next day - thanks guys). We had a great dinner there, ensure you leave enough room for the cheese board which is particularly good.

Concarneau is an all-round excellent holiday venue

would have liked a table on the balcony and a decent shower fitting as it did not stay at any position you had to hold it all the time. kettle in the room would be appreciated . but overall great.Meal in restaurant was amazing but a little pricey as is most of France!

Large sea-view room well-appointed & quiet. Free on-site parking. P.D. 12,5€, excellent selection & good service. Helpful staff. Good off-season choice in family-oriented resort type property with pool (not yet open). Decent resto on-site with daily specials & à la carte offerings; veal chop over-done, almost dry; slow, disinterested service at dinner.

Unfortunately it was raining in our short stay in the Hotel. Our view was magnificent and had a great breakfast,.

Overnight stay on the way south from Roscoff. Great hotel, overlooking a sandy beach. We had a family room which was excellent - the kids having their own room in a mezzanine above. We are in the restaurant and both the food and service was good. If you're after cheap food don't eat here, similarly if you want pizza and chips don't eat here either! We didn't use the pool although it was covered and looked fine. We would definitely come here again.

Used this hotel on a trip to see the spectacle of the 2015 Tour de France in Vannes. No hotels were available in there so booked this up as it has good reviews on Trip Advisor. We were travelling as a family of four and booked two rooms. It was pre school holidays so the resort was very quiet.Hotel is in an OK location and the rooms spacious, quiet and clean. Wed been upgraded to sea view which was nice. Noticed the rooms had triple glazing which helped with sound proofing.Restaurant was the bit we liked least. Food was very good so well done chef, but the waiting staff hardly acknowledged us, initially leaving us standing in the doorway and then when we did have a table they only ever came back to serve the next course. Quite strange really.

Helpful staff, close to beaches and a reasonable walk to the harbour / town centre.

Nice quiet hotel, very clean, opposite the beach. Has plenty of parking at the back. Nice room very quiet. If you need wifi though it was slow and seem to shut at 11pm, except for that it was great.

We were lucky to get 5nights as we booked late. We were attending the Festival in Concarneau 14-17August. It was very quiet and was a 15 or so minute walk into town. Festival was great, good food and music. The old walled part of the harbour was lovely, like a mini Dubrovnik.

Family room was excellent.
Didn't try restaurant, only down side was the bar was shut when we got back from our evening meal.

We enjoyed our stay. Restaurant menu could do with being a bit more family friendly.
