The outside was very nice and the pool area and the parking but the customer service was not very friendly and the breakfast could have been better .

Great service

The Hotel was not a bad place but the staff were unprofessional not a really good job on customer service. They didn’t clean our rooms after we came back. Me and my kids wanted to go to the pool but the pool looked very dirty and did not go in.

Pool was clean rooms were a little hot but what more can you ask for with this Texas weather

There were a lot of cockroaches, they don't do daily cleaning to take out the garbage although they had told me that if they didn't do it, the women at the reception are not friendly, they don't say hello and one of them is very rude.

For the amount of money the room cost, I expected it to at least have a fridge. Traveling with my toddler was way harder having no where to store anything like food or snacks.

Microtel has really gone downhill. I’ve been staying there for 15 years. It was my go to every time I went to Aransas Pass. My room had cockroaches, doorframes are peeling with rust, the carpet was stained and had gum or something stuck in it in multiple places. The other guests were unsavory types. Very disappointed. My biggest grievance was they got rid of the Texas shaped waffle maker.

Hotel was better than expected for what we paid for but can use some updating especially in the bathroom door the trimming shower and racks were really rusty and needed attention and floor needed cleanin we were able to wash our clothes and although the dryer wasnt drying she allowed me to use their dryers and brrakfast was great and pool was very clean ... but like i mentioned the hotel and room was better than expected

The breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable and the show was so inviting. Only problem was noise from the people next door and upstairs.

Clean, comfortable, quiet! Great rates! Will be back!

Booked a 3 day stay, called 3 days before to see if i could add another day. There was a room available, gave my info and waited for my card to be charged. Called the day before my original booking date to see if they were waiting to charge my card for the added room until i got there. Nope didnt know what i was talking abt. No single bed rooms available so had to get a double bed room. I do appreciate the discount but was still higher that a single bed. When checking out of 2 bed room at 11am i then had to take everything with me to come back at 3 to check back in. I get my room probably wasn't ready but i could have left my stuff in the corner or something. There were no wash clothes in the 2 bed room but liked the refrigerator. All rooms need a refrigerator as the single bed room had none. The complimentary breakfast was ok. Beggers can't be choosers. Enjoyed the pool.

Where to start with this place.......first my booking was messed up. After a couple of clerks and rooms offered we got acceptable accommodations. Next zero water pressure, no real bedding they are making due with sheets and thin blankets. The property is very dated no remodel since i stayed last 14 years ago, but the exterior and pool are nice. The room visually are a mess, damage, thread bare carpet, worn furnishings. Two nights there was a strong smell of weed. Not burned but fresh in bags weed had to be alot judging by the strong odor. Continental breakfast, ya at your own risk. I stopped at the cup of mud that was supposed to be coffee. The lobby is pretty sad, small, more worn furnishings and an odd smell. We were there for a week. The place was reasonably quiet except for the traffic at the 24 hour convenience store outside of my window. The matress was comfortable enough and decent pillows. The employees get atleast 4 stars because of what they have to do to keep guests happy. The property itself 2 stars at best. Do better for travelers, remodel the place there's a good example of a remodel next door. Will i stay again? Maybe if I cant find anything else. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a bad experience just disappointingly underwhelming. Take care of your employee's they work very hard to make the stay better and keep customers from walking away.

Our room ac didn't chill properly and there was a tiny roach in the bathroom. We left 1 night early. Wasn't expecting a 5 star stay but at least cold and pest-free though. Disappointing

We arrived at about 4 o’clock and our room was not ready. It was supposed to be on the first floor and it was not the attendant could’ve been more pleasant and was not and we had a door between our room and the next person and you could hear everything they were saying you could hear, sneezing, etc..

The hotel was ok. The pool and hot tub looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in awhile so we didn’t go in. The beds were very comfortable and there was food within walking distance. The perk of this hotel is it is close to the ferry entrance to go over to Port A so that was awesome.

Property was clean with a nice appearance. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Shower was a little difficult to get right.

Won’t stay again. Place was outdated, filthy, and unhappy so much so we left a day early.

It’s a good value for what it is, a convenient place to take a shower and sleep. My only dislike was the mattress. It seem to be broke down on my side of the bed, which made it feel like I was rolling out throughout the night.

CLEAN and smells good was my first impression! We stayed 3 nights and the staff was great! The room was clean and comfortable. It is located minutes from the Port Aransas Ferry ( Dolphin views!) Overall great hotel to stay at!
