The hotel was decent for the price. It was a bit older and rundown, but it served its purpose for what we needed Thanksgiving weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was convenient and the location was excellent. We enjoyed walking to the downtown Clovis area.

It is great place, very convenient to Clovis high school, a room is good, need a minor to improve, special the sofa bed needs to change a new one, currently a sofa bed was little bit dirty. Other than that it’s great. Absolutely will come back again.

I cannot say enough good things! This staff takes pride in their job because the hotel was so clean, inside and out! The front desk staff were so kind, informative, and helpful! So thankful we came here

The bed was shot, needs to be replaced. We found somebody else's long black hairs inside our bedspread (neither one of us have long black hair). Breakfast choices are marginal at best. Employees working the front desk were friendly and helpful. Hotel had a nice elevator to ride.

Surprisingly, the Breakfast was Way better than i was expecting it to be. Front desk was always polite n engaging. But room keys were Very difficult to use (think the sensors are wearing). As well, the Shower Curtain Rod was never well anchored to the wall, you could see where it had been retried a few times before (they need a more Knowledgable handyman or installer), but you can never anchor something that heavy just straight to drywall.., i let the front desk know the same thing.

We needed a place to stay. It was fine. We got put in the handicap room which had messy carpentry work in the bathroom

Found hair in the sink and shower. Took away that clean feel. Tv remote didn’t work, our room smoke detector went off for no apparent reason and the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work and our toilet clogged very easily the second morning. However staff were very nice and helpful.

Stayed for one night. Check-in was quick and easy, felt welcomed! Room was clean and cozy. It was in a good area, quiet at night. A decent amount of restaurant choices not to far away. If you need anything essential, stores are within short driving distance also.

With two queen beds which were fine but nothing amazing. The pullout couch was HORRRRRIIIBBLLEE and they are sadly so understaffed that I had to go down grab bedding so that as well as towels and soap.
Luckily the gals at the front desk were gems ;) that made up for the run down hotel

I stay at this location when I visit my best friend. I live 3 hours away and we always stay with your hotel. We feel protected and safe. The breakfast is the best Continental breakfast at any hotel we’ve ever been in. The staff is friendly really cool and communicative. 🙌

We were not given a key to our room. We were walked up. Meaning we couldn’t leave without being escorted back due to problems with their card readers. Then the AC wasn’t working so it was uncomfortably warm all night. Then the toilet clogged for no reason. Not staying here again

I will definitely be coming back. Its not perfect but it is great for what it is. Area is close to thinhgs to do, but a little off the path.

We booked one hotel first, and when we got there, it was horrible ended up going here as the last minute arrangement and loved it. It was big enough to accommodate the whole family with great amenities.

We had issues with the restroom flooding over it happened twice. We called front desk twice they for got the first time we called. The AC was not working properly the same with the shower

Please stay away if you can. The rooms are so disgusting. Upholstery was torn and dirty. The pull out couch had just springs. We asked for another room so they showed us one with a collapsed couch. Bathrooms are outdated, and dirty. I was scared to take my slippers off in the shower. During breakfast the waffle batter was sour. I told the staff and they didn’t even change it.

I was traveling and needed a place closer to Sequoia National Park. Furniture (couch and chair) were worn. The bed was comfortable, though. The smoke detector beeped multiple times because the batteries were low. The staff was nice and assisted quickly when the room keys did not work.

The hotel is fine but apparently Clovis has a city ordinance that requires hotels to scan your drivers license into their database. No place else does this. Happy to show my ID to verify who I am but no need to scan sensitive data into a hackable database. Shame on Clovis!

While on our way driving to check in from San Jose Airport, the hotel called. They had somehow gotten our reservation confused, and they overbooked our room type. HOWEVER, the staff went above and beyond to find us an alternate room type that accommodated our family of 5. The staff made the difference between a great experience and a miserable one (the other hotels in town were booked up for a sports event).
The room was comfortable and clean, and we'd stay here again if in Clovis. The town of Clovis was a good starting point for Sequoia / King's Canyon and Yosemite. Gas in town was relatively inexpensive for California.
Again, the staff was great here. Even the lady putting breakfast out was friendly and enjoyable to talk with. Our previous stays with other Comfort Suites has proven consistent with their staff, and we were very grateful. Other hotels could learn something from them.

The customer service at the front desk was great. Steven made me feel welcomed and was very professional. The C grade review is due to the quality of my room. The toilet was clogged when I arrived at my room, the lamps and pictures on the wall were crooked and the bathroom had a strange smell to it. Couldn’t put my finger on what the smell was but it was a different odor. Aside from the defects mentioned above, the staff at the front desk (morning and night) were very friendly and attentive). Decent stay for the price.

We rented a room with a jetted tub. Checked in and not only did the jets in the tub not work, the bottom of the tub was covered in hair and had a sticky purple substance on the side wall. We had to call the front desk and ask them to fix it. Took 40 minutes to get it fixed. Then, I went to the store to buy a gallon of bleach to run in the tub through the jets before i let my toddler play in the tub since it clearly had not been cleaned in God knows how long if ever. The floor was gross in the corner by the window and next to the bed. The bathroom obviouslt hadnt been cleaned in a while either as there were stains on the hand towels and crumbs stuck to one of them. Only reason i stayed is my husband is stationed at the basin fire and this is the closest hotel with opening so we could see him as much as possible.
The swimming pool outside had blood covered bandaids on the sidewalk, cigarette trash on one of the folding chairs and there was tons of trash and leaves in the actual water. Overall it was freaking disgusting.

I enjoyed my stay there. I just felt that the staff had a lot of duties at times and were stretched to cope with everything. The pool was nice but it did not get cleaned daily. Overall, I had a good stay and staff were friendly.
