The property was great except the pool is and hot tub is outside. Other then that the rooms were clean and breakfast was good.

The staff was nice and friendly. There was no problem checking in, and we got the room we had requested. The breakfast was great! We have stayed at the property before, and will do so again.

The room very clean but the pool are very dirty, the ac in the room when starting has a very loud buzzing noise which woke us up all night, after about 15 seconds it would smooth out and sound fine. In the pool area there are two very poorly hung pergolas waiting to fall and cause a serious injury’ they are attached to the pool maintained building by two ledger boards at one end’ the ledger board is attached to the building with small screws, you can actually see the ledger board starting to detach from the building. If that board fails the whole very heavy pergola will fall straight down, very poorly built. Also the toilet runs on after flushing, the ball chain gets stuck under the water stop in the tank, needs to be shortened. Last, black mold in a small corner of the tub.

Showed up at 10:45 and were told we would be in room 305. We went to our room and the door was open and the beds were not made. We went back downstairs, and were then assigned 320. We went up to 320 and the room was again open and dirty. We went back downstairs and were told the staff would check on a room on the second floor and if it wasn’t clean, it would be cleaned shortly and we could finally go in our room. Finally at midnight, over an hour after arrival, we were able to go to room 220 for the night. The pillows on each bed had a horrible smell to them. The pool was not cleaned and the lock to the door on the pool did not work. When we checked out, we were told by the hotel they had us down to stay until 7/18, but I verified with my Expedia booking that we only booked one night. Horrible experience and I demand a refund.

Definitely not looking to complain, the stay was adequate; but for what I paid, I expected MUCH better. The room smelled like mildew and was really damp feeling in the pillows, the room door took 30 to 50 attempts to open every single time and the front desk just told me to lift up on the door handle ( didn't work) and other guests would walk by and say " oh yours does that too," like it was an ongoing issue with all the rooms, the room was not clean; hairs under the toilet seat, dirt in the caulk line if the tub, the carpet had dirt, etc, and the pool skimmer seemed to be broken because the water was completely covered full of bugs and various leaves, also the spa was shut down. I could have went to the next door hotel and save $50 on my stay there and I wish I did.

Beds were fine, A/C didnt want to kick on most of the day, and black mold in the bathroom all around the ceiling edges.

they left a hold on my card for over 2 weeks…. no ice machine no oven it’s like everything there was broken

I had to have my key reprogrammed 6 times in one day. The staff was rude and incompetent.

No hot breakfast in the morning! A/c unit rattled throughout the night. Moldy bathroom.

The hot tubs was not working, the rooms were not properly stocked, we had to ask for the bedding for the pull out couch, the breakfast was not fully available as the stove in the kitchen was broken. There was also mold in the bathroom and on the shower curtain.

Overall, the room was relatively nice and of decent size. However, when we pulled out the sofa bed, my son & noticed what appeared to be dead bed bugs. The toilet was also running & leaking on the floor around the toilet. When I took the cover off the tank to see what might be causing it to keep running, I noticed it was very corroded inside the tank, and there appeared to be mold growing around the inside of the tank. The outdoor pool and hot tub did not appear to be well maintained or clean. I also struggled falling asleep because people were in the pool well past the 10 pm closing time. When I mentioned this to the gentleman at the front desk, he said he closed the pool down by 10:30. However, we heard people being very loud in the pool for an hour or more past that time, even from our 3rd floor bedroom that overlooked the pool, and we still had another 6 hours to drive the next day for our trip. For the breakfast, though there were containers for a hot breakfast, the staff never put out any hot food. We were promptly informed there was no hot food by other hotel guests, so the disappointed was very apparent from other patrons.

Not what I expected from Holiday Inn. I booked because they were supposed to have a hot tub and breakfast. Our cards were not opening doors like they are supposed to. There was nothing to tell us where things were. Toilet plugged up and desk just got him a plunger for him to use. Couldn't get anyone to answer phone. At least the pool was available.

Overall we had a good stay at this hotel, the staff was nice and helpful when we asked. The breakfast was great with lots of selections. However, there was NO shampoo or conditioner left in the dispensers in the shower at all, you could tell they just never refilled it after multiple stays. And we had to ask for extra towels, we had 5 staying in the room and we only received two towels. Pool was decent.

The hotel was okay, no major problems. It could use a few updates. I was double charged for my room but it was taken care of when I called and spoke to a manager. The location was good.

Exterior grounds a complete mess. Trash and very unkept and no maintenance on anything. Inside just as bad, unkept, damaged walls, filthy carpet etc.

Door locks were broken, keeping us from checking in. Two rooms, three sets of keys, and four trips to the front desk were required to fix the situation. Once in the room we found the toilet was broken and ran continuously. Extremely poor maintenance!

Tv didn’t work lagged behind or froze, refrigerator did not work. Could not keep anything cold. And went to take shower to find one towel.

I stayed at the McAlester Holiday Inn twice on this trip and won't do so ever again. Each time, I had to ask for a different room. The first room had a bathtub with black mold, obviously not cleaned recently. On the second stop, the first room had a running toilet. In both cases, the second room was OK, but nothing more. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is better than usual, especially the little pancakes. The location is OK, with easy access to a gas station and a Braum's ice cream store (good hamburgers!).

This was a comfortable place to stay on our trip to Texas. The towels were thin but serviceable. Nice breakfast. Enjoyed the late check out.

Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming...Thank you! It's important to us to feel welcomed after a long travel. The room was great, beds were comfy and the bathroom was especially clean and well stocked. We enjoyed Braums :) Not fancy; but good.

Two of the three days I stayed I had to take a cold shower. The fill valve on the toilet was broke and made a horrible noise when you flushed the toilet. There was rust behind the toilet, it looked like the toilet had leaked for a long time and no one cared to fix it.

Enjoyed our stay, bed was very comfortable. Lots of options for breakfast!

upon arrival there was poor lighting under the awning and the trash can was overflowing with trash where I observed the front desk attendant smoking at a later time. also all lighted parking on the street side of building was taken and I had to park in the unlight back part and that wad concerning, the room was lovely but the key card only worked the first time and I had to go get it fixed for my second arrival, I was on the complete opposite side of front desk service. The deal braker was no ICE on the 4th floor and I had no hot water for my shower. seemed to be a newer facility so why didn't these things work.??
