Staff was friendly. All areas were clean. Kids loved getting to swim each night. Would stay here agsin

went to check in, 2 queen bed set up I ordered was not available. Pet friendly room I reserved was not available. clerk refused check in as they do not allow pets on site

Check in was easy. The staff were friendly. The room looked clean, but had a damp musty odor. Overall, just an okay stay.

Check in was easy. Lobby was clean. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. If you're in or around Scott and need a place to stay, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Scott-Lafayette West is a great choice.

Huge stain, looked like a blood stain, in the middle of a rug. I’m pretty sure a flea jumped on my leg. I did not see it again. I was itching the rest of the night, maybe I was in my head? Electrical outlets were loose. Bathroom and other surfaces appeared to not have been cleaned or cleaned in haste. Remote for tv had a dead battery. Breakfast items were served cold as they were not fully warmed. No regular coffee, only decaf. Elevator shook and rattled when either stopping or going to 1st floor. Honestly, I thought I was going to die at one point. We ended up using the stairs from that point on. Parking spaces were entirely too close. Can someone please check into that? There is no way those spaces were constructed to spec.

Hotel was really nice, but very noisy due to traffic on I10. Beds were very comfortably!

Cleanly and friendly staff

The desk front person spoke so low and soft i had to ask him multiple times to speak up and i was the only person in the lobby. There was no vending machines. Water was on the floor around the refrigerator in the room. The ceiling fan in the room made noises and was shaking like it was going to fall down.

All in all the hotel was ok. Bed was comfortable. The property wasn't as clean and well kept as other Holiday Inn Expresses that I've recently stayed at. The variety at breakfast wasn't as good as other Holiday Inn Expresses that I've stayed at either.

I don’t know where to start. When I entered my suit, I looked around to check for cleanliness. The bathroom toilet was awful. It had fecal matter around the entire bowl which was disgusting. Whom ever cleaned that room need to be retrained including their supervisor that inspected it. I was moved to another suit and the fridge didn’t work.. both rooms had hair on the bathroom floor. I’m not a picky person but I expected better. I traveled three hours with my mother for my only grandsons first birthday. I will not stay here again. I will do a better job on researching my location the next time we travel to Louisiana. By the way, Ms Carleen did a great job trying to accommodate and make us comfortable. She even came up to the first room and saw the toilet. I tried to be fair on this review considering they were apparently short on housekeepers. But that’s where management earn their money by stepping in and actually work, property train and maintain a clean facility. I won’t even post these pics because my written review should grasp their attention….

Everything was great except that we were awakened by housekeeping at 8:00 AM. Since we didn’t open the door, housekeeper opened it with her key. Check out is supposed te be at 11:00. Housekeeping should respect that.
