Greeted at the front door with a smile and a polite professional tone from the lady at the desk. The bartender and another guy were a little more talkative. Very “white glove” feeling upon arrival. Lobby is very nice and clean. Certainly a “classy” feel for a hotel off the interstate. Room was in good order with plenty of room.

Not so good since we tried to cancel the day before due to sickness. Expedia was willing to cancel the booking but Holiday Inn wasn’t. They would rather have you there sick infecting everyone else because they care about making money.

Everything was great! The room smelled clean and the beds were comfortable.

Liked location. Convenient to numerous restaurants. Outside of property and front desk appealing. Found our room to be quite dated. All staff were excellent, pleasant and helpful. I did not complain about our room as both my traveling companions were not well and I did not want to upset them. Furniture scuffed up, seemed microwave on top of mini fridge was an after thought. Walls painted with flat paint were dirty. Soap dispenser in bath inconvenient so that water dripped on counter to use it. Sink faucet leaking around bottom. Tub appeared to have bath ring left in it. Carpet old. Elevator carpet was dirty until vacuumed at some unknown time, but there and in our room, corners haven’t been cleaned in a while. Wasn’t sure that the bar area was actually the restaurant, or not. Very small and staffed with only one person who did a great job waiting on everyone, almost running to do her job. This was a very disappointing stay. Had I not had to pay in advance to get a lower price, and had to inconvenience my 96 year old mother, I would not have stayed there after going to my room. There was no make up mirror and no vent fan in bathroom. Hard to get dressed in steamy bathroom when traveling with two others. This critique is to help the ones who make decisions about the property cleanliness and work, and Expedia, when posting. For a few dollars more I could have stayed at one of the many newer properties in that area and felt better about where I was.

Be prepared to arrive to a jungle. The decoration is so terrible and tacky. Everything is green, walls lamps, stairs steps, rooms walls and decorations. Carpets are dirty and smells like mold. Breakfast was nice but it isn’t included, you pay additional for breakfast but doesn’t include coffee. Almost $300 a night. No recommended. Find another place to stay

Bed was good. Shower head was loose, weird contraption hanging from bathroom ceiling, no bathroom fan, could use recaulking to hide holes in current caulk

Mold, dirty, hotel room we checked out the next day! Never again.

This location was perfect for our needs. Room was clean, beds comfortable. The air conditioner in our room was noisy. We were tired when we arrived, thought is wasn’t going to be an issue, but in the middle of the night it got the best of me. Thank goodness I had earplugs. I told the staff at checkout, so hopefully they can fix it before the next guest arrives

Excellent accommodation for a very reasonable price. We have stayed in this hotel for quite a few times when we travel to Ocala, and it is always very clean. The personnel is always very kind. They have a breakfast buffet on weekends, and a menu during the week. The room is spacious, and the beds very comfortable. If you are looking for a very good place without spending a lot of money, I highly recommend it.

We have stayed here several times over the years but I may have to look for a new place to stay when visiting Ocala. When the key didn't work the two girls at the desk just kept telling me I didn't know how to use the key. Finally after going back upstairs for the third time I left the keys with them and said fix it I'll return after my meeting. The battery was dead in the lock on the door. The bartender ignored me and waited on other people that came into the bar/restaurant after me. I finally left after 10 minutes of being ignored. He saw me there made eye contact just wouldnt wait on me. Very poor service!

The room was very noisy. The a/c kept clicking on and off and it was very loud. We were there for a conference and had planned to save time by having breakfast at the hotel. Starting our day early (with little sleep) to go down for breakfast at 7a.m. just to find out there was NOTHING because the cook did not show was an inconvenience. At check-out there was trouble with system and took extra time to get out. An interruption by a staff member telling the front clerk that the cook was late and that he was letting the front desk clerk know in a huff today was his last day was unprofessional. I would like a refund, who do I talk to about that?

The lady at desk was kind. Long line for check in around 10:30 pm. Keys did not work but she made it happen! She was patient and good eye contact and helpful.

Beds were very comfortable, room size was great. Everything is a bit outdated and room service for cleaning was difficult to get. Bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan, water pressure was equivalent to a power washing machine. Overall a functional room that needs to be modernized.

Did not care for breakfast and AC was not in best working condition. Room and bed were good.

The front desk staff are not friendly and the room service is not clean. There were no smiling, friendly staff, the air conditioner in the room was too loud, and there was a smell every time the air conditioner worked, so we had to turn it off.
