Amazing views and the staff is A-1! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice, relaxing atmosphere with amazing views of the beach. The food was also delicious and service was great.

This was a beautiful, small property on the Pacific Ocean. I loved sleeping on the hammocks on the beach. Our bungalow faced the ocean. The ocean was too rough to swim in comfortably for me. The staff was amazing. The room was super cute and clean. The bed was very hard, but overall, definately recommend for adults.

Wow, what an amazing holiday. The hotel was fabulous, right on the beach and very quiet. The villa was huge with our own plunge pool and amazing sea view. The staff were so friendly and helpful - We speak no Spanish but the staff mostly spoke good English and also taught us a few words of Spanish too. The hotel arranged so many trips/transfers and hire car for us - they were so efficiant with excellent communication, they made the holiday so much easier thank you. The cleaning staff did an amazing job keeping our rooms lovely and fresh, and all the staff were cheerful and friendly, even the gardeners always said hello and smiled. We came for our 25th wedding anniversary and our first proper holiday for many years - it did not disappoint, and we will be back!
Areas to note - our plunge pool had a few loose tiles but nothing that effected its use. Our villa had a large lounge/kitchen and seperate bedroom at the back. It was huge but almost too big for 2 people and the bedroom does not have the sea view. This is a personal thing and in no way detrimental to our trip. There is very little walkable so a car is a must.

This place was amazing! I never leave reviews, but I have to. The staff, everyone..front desk, wait staff, bartenders, grounds crew were all so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay a delight. The property itself is a gem. Gardens are beautiful, beach is private and amazing. Best sunsets I’ve ever seen. I will be coming back!

The AC was not working in our room. We were placed in another room. The AC was also not working. My wife and I both became very sick and suffered from heat exhaustion without any reprieve...we left early to find another hotel

Grounds were spectacular, flowers, green grass, palm trees, right on the beach. Swimming at high-tide was safe and fun.
The pool was enjoyable and rooms were open and spacious. The grounds keeper even pointed out a family of sloths living in trees outside our room. Next time we'll stay a week!

Alma del Pacifico exceeded expectations. Every staff members were efficient, friendly, and accommodating. Most importantly they all presented in a manner reflecting that they were happy with their work at Alma. The food was excellent and provided a variety including vegetarian and vegan. We had the deluxe ocean view suite. It was spacious and comfortable. The view was amazing along with the private pool. There were 2 main pools and 1 was long enough to swim laps in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Really loved this place and would definitely stay again.

A tranquil place, away from the hustle and bustle and with rooms decorated in their style. Facing the sea, one enjoys the view, the sea breeze, the sound of the waves, and a starry night.

The property is beautiful! Right on the water. The hotel is very clean, the food is fantastic (we’ve traveled from the Northern Pacific, to the city to the Osa peninsula and this is the absolute best food we’ve had! Big compliment as we’ve had a lot of good food!) and the staff is attentive and friendly. Definitely a great place to visit.

This is a beautiful property. Our villa was located on the beach and we got to see the most gorgeous sunset. Right in the front was the pool. The property is well kept, all the staff were friendly and helpful and the villa was very comfortable. Eveything about our stay was excellent. We also dined at the restaurant a lot and the food was delicious. I highly recommend coming here for a relaxing stay.

Like most hotels in CR, the pandemic caused a huge loss in revenue so upgrades have not occurred. Every place is run down. However, when the nukes hit Europe and North America, this place will survive because it's made of concrete and they have water filters.

Se notaba con una reparación que no funcionó.El hotel aparece en forma incorrecta en Waze. Ver Google Maps.

Nice place but waves on the beach way too high. Good the pools where so nice. Nice breakfast. Very quiet place, nothing going on at all. Liked the massage as well, perhaps a bit too pricey thought.

Everyone at Alma De Pacifico was amazing and helpful. The food was delicious and you can tell they pride themselves on taking care of the hotel. I would 1000 percent recommend this to anyone going to Costa Rica. It is a bit of a drive but for the service and view if the ocean you get it cant be beat!

This property is amazingly beautiful. Staff is wonderful. Food was okay, not authentic more Americanized. They only issue I had and why I would not return was the bugs. Bugs everywhere in the rooms, toilets , shower , kitchen and bed (not bed bugs). I believe if this hotel should fix all doors, windows, sliding doors so the bugs can’t get in. Now the views were impeccably beautiful when we woke up the ocean was my back yard. With a private pool. Oh lastly, the price you pay for the villa, nothing in your room was free. Everything had a price tag attached. Nothing complementary, not even one snack

This isn’t a resort . It’s a retreat. It is very very quiet so it’s not the place to stay if you’re looking for action and excitement. It wish there was a full length mirror in the rooms. Other the than that, the room is beautiful clean and spacious . It’s a great property if you’re looking to just relax
