This place is amazing, the hotel is beautiful from the outside and inside. The view of the lake is stunning. It is walking distance from a town full of fun. Highly recommend coming here. I would get out early. The town shuts down at 9:00 p.m.. so start your day early.

We picked this hotel because it had a pool and bar, that we planned on hangout at. Neither were available due to renovations, ruined our entire night. It would have been nice to use both since that is what was advertised on your website. Would second guess using your website next time due to false advertisement.

Upon check in we were informed that Hotel is under renovation. Bar/Restaurant is not open.
Front desk and staff were very friendly. We were upgraded to a balcony room which was gorgeous. Room was quiet and cozy. Property is walking distance from bars, shops, restaurants and entertainment. Can’t wait to return and see the completed renovations!

Called ahead to make sure there was a pool and hot tub which I was told a yes to. Drove 25 miles out of my way as i checked after the call and saw pictures online and it looked great. After check in, I come to find out the Pool, hot tub, restaurant and lounge are all closed for renovations. I understand these areas may need work but to close everything at once and not tell people is criminal. Adding to the fact I called first and asked about the pool and hot tub, they could have said something then. When questioned afterwards I was told they have another hotel "5 min away" we could use. Then I call that place and they are 17 mins away. When asked for a refund and Ill go somewhere else i was told no.

Although there was construction going on, the property management made sure to give us a room on a higher floor to minimize the noises. They had printed out a paper that explained what was going on, approximate date of completion, and names of restaurants to go to for breakfast that offered a discount for guests at this inn. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a lake view room that was very clean and comfortable. The only suggestions I have is to fix the part that holds the lampshade on the lamps (also, lamps are a bit too big for the bedside tables) and the dimmer switch for the bathroom lights. I also noticed that the bottle that holds the soap in the shower had not been filled enough. Other than these few items, I would recommend the Waterfront Inn to anyone looking for a nice getaway to The Villages.

Hotel is undergoing renovation, but our stay was still wonderful. They had a breakfast buffet set up on the weekend in a temporary location as well as a happy hour with burgers… in the evening. We got to enjoy the beautiful outdoor veranda on the lake.

Lobby under construction not told this - nor listed anywhere, bar restaurant also this way - so go in and out an awkward back entrance exit - but shoulder season and don't care anyway, but what if was counting on all that ?? and the guy knowing only half full or less at check in and leaving before the weekend - and give me the parking lot room over the dumpster ?? Both these things annoying, right !!?? Well - told the guy "Lake view Please"!!! Duhhh ??? Maybe they all need to go to a hospitality class or something ?? Otherwise good place...

I thought I was booking with the hotel directly, but its Expedia. If I had known the Waterfront Hotel was under construction, I would have book other hotel.
The hotel was not busy, but they put us on 4th floor in the back side looking down to the parking lot without Waterview, since was a waterfront hotel, I was hoping for water view. No amenity was available, no pool, nothing!, we were disappointed. The room was clean. The elevator was old and dark, slow to respond feel spooky at time. We didn't have contact with any employee after checked in at front desk. I will not recommend this hotel at this time.

Me and my husband love the resort.It was very peaceful and comfortable and was in a very convenient area in the villages. I'm sure you're wondering why I gave such a little rating if we were extremely happy with the stay.. the issue was the Cleanliness of the hotel room the maid service needs to be more Attentive.. the counter tops in the bath were full of dust and hair the sheets had some black smudge marks on them . The room it self needs a good deep clean. As someone who is a owner operator of a cleaning business This is unacceptable. I know that this issue can be handled in a very respectful manor . Fyi double checking rooms after maid service would really help. No worries im.hopeful this issue will be resolved and we will be back.

Beautiful property, great service. Close to the villages and lots of other things. The person in the room next to me left their TV on full blast volume…I couldn’t sleep - it was 3 am and I had an early morning to get to my flight. Hunter tried to wake them by calling, knocking and
when no response, gave me a new room so I could get some sleep. Thanks😀. Maybe set up the TVs for a maximum volume that doesn’t wake the dead.

I thought this place was nice, the view was lovely. Really appreciated the magnified make up mirror like I have at home. Did not use pool or hot tub. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was large and included a safe. Would be nice if an alternative to plastic bottles was used, considering all the plastic waste.
