Very clean room

The hotel was less than 10 minutes from the train station and at most 15 minutes to get to the harbor where a lot of restaurants are located. So very easy to from for train or food. The hotel is also close to Place Libertie where many of the buses have stops. Convenient location.

A small gem ..mostly quiet with a few guest slamming doors or crying kids ..but great view, location , and nice simple breakfast ..ask for 02 rooms they look west at corner only problem was microwave was locked up need access.no frig ....it has an elevator of which other three older hotels do not . Has a survey . ..

The staff. I booked this room, without any expectations l, based oh the proximity to the port and the train station and the moderate price. I would recommend this hotel based on the friendly, knowledgeable, kind staff. The room is small but I had everything I needed.

Terrible experience overall. Awful reception staff with an anti-customer attitude that I’ve almost never seen at any hotel. I asked for late checkout a few minutes before 11, as my family was nit as yet all packed, something that, in my experience, hotels ate happy to provide where necessary and where new guests aren’t waiting in the lobby for their rooms, but was told no, I had to be out if my room in a few minutes. Unbelievable. Terribly customer antagonistic. Hotel design nice but room cramped and a tiny shower that insisted on putting water out into the floor. Wifi very slow. A very bad experience overall. This hotel should be avoided.

The internet was excellent, other than having to log on repeatedly, but it never let me down. Not so great was the bathroom which was very basic. The shower floor was continuous (without barrier) to the bathroom floor, and the toilet seat was very cheap and drove me crazy as the seat cover kept dropping. Also, the maid service was sporadic, and some days my room was not cleaned, maybe because once I asked not to have it done. The location was excellent, and it was a good value, though.

We had a lovely stay and needed to be close to the train station for our departure.

I love this small hotel, they gave us a nice room with balcony, it was very nice set up and very clean, the service was excellent, nice breakfast and I tell you the location is great. I will go again and I will stay there as many times I can. I will recommend this hotel to everyone specially to couples. I give this hotel the rating of 10 from 10

Cheap and cheerful, ok for a couple of nights stay

Our arrival was ok, we had room on the first floor. Elevator was super small but we did it despite that we had big suitcase. There was weird smell in the room, probably from the AC, so we turned off AC and opened the window and it was ok. The toilet was located in the shower, so quite funny situations with that. But on the other hand it was probably adequate for two star hotel. If you searching for cheap accommodation in the city center and don't look at the details mentioned above I can recommend.

One night in order to catch train. Clean room, lovely interesting decor, very well thought out.

Could not get the air con to work so the room was too hot. No hair dryer provided. Shower and bath were good Breakfast was good Staff were lovely

Exceeded expectations of a 2-star hotel - the room was newly decorated, clean and comfortable. The location was great and reception staff excellent. Would have no hesitation is staying again.

staff were helpful and the place was spotless.

No plug in the wash basin,shower was difficult to control and had a waist-high wall which did not contain the water.

The first room we stayed at had a strange smell in the bathroom (like old sewage) but they quickly changed our rooms and we had a pleasant stay. They provided me with a hairdryer and bottle opener when I asked. It is near the train station and a nice square.

We booked a comfort room to get a little bit more space as my husband is 6ft3. However, we didnt realise that if there was an outside balcony that meterage would be included. So we ended up with quite a small room with a nice little balcony. Great in summer but irrelevant in January! Having said that, the hotel is in a great location for restaurants, shops and the railway station. Its clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The bathroom was more of a wet room, however, once we mastered keeping the shower head angle right as was well.We would go back but maybe only ask for this room in the summer.

Very pleased with the location of this hotel, close to the train station, and within walking distance of all of the town facilities and some very good restaurants. The room was very clean, but basic, no kettle or hairdryer, but this did not prove to be an issue. We could have practiced our French a bit more before leaving UK and things would have been easier for us but no major issues. The only problem that may cause issue to people with walking issues is that the lift was out of action during the hotel's cleaning times and it does have 6 floors.

Pleasantly received and found the hotel itself to be well located. Do not be put off by the uninspiring entrance.

Easy walk from train station, bus routes (and port is downhill 15 min) Room is huge, wifi works, elevator is useful, staff is accommodating. No need to pay for breakfast; there is a grocery within 6 minutes walking across liberty square and past the movie theatre. A wonderful stay in Toulon.

I needed a value hotel close to the station for an early morning get away. The Celenya, was great. The staff kind and helpful ( they even come and knock on your door for a morning call0, the breakfast good and the room neat and tidy. A little very French town centre hotel which I would be happy to go to again.

Beds were comfortable - washroom seriously neeeded updating shower spray was terrible.Hotel staff excellent and freindly.

Nice hotel in a good location. We did have a hard time finding it as there are no signage. Employees were friendly and even let us put our bags in a locked closet after we check out to continue visiting the city.

We were in Toulon for a conference, so we didn't have many hotel options. The staff were friendly, but the lift was not functioning, so we had to use the winding stairs, which is difficult with large luggage. The wireless internet connection did work; however, it was an intermittent connection. The room had its own air conditioner, which ran very cold, although it gave off a very musty smell. The room and bathroom were tiny, but that's to be expected in Europe. Once the street construction by the hotel is completed, we think that the location will be much improved.
