A quick stay to see a rugby match then drive back to AZ. Nothing fancy but comfortable!

needed an ADA accessible room and this did not meet the needs. sink too high, no railings near the toilet and bed too high for wheel chair user. Room was clean, but weathered looking.

I recently stayed at Rodeway Inn Lemon Grove San Diego East and had an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I checked in, the service was horrible. The staff seemed indifferent to guests' needs and were unresponsive to my requests for assistance. The problems didn't stop there. When I turned on the AC in my room, there was a terrible smell that made it unbearable to stay in the room for long periods. To make matters worse, the room wasn't serviced during my stay, leaving me with the same towels and unmade bed throughout my visit. Additionally, the fridge in my room was broken, which was a significant inconvenience as I couldn't store any perishable items. Overall, the condition of the room and the lack of basic amenities made my stay very uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying at Rodeway Inn Lemon Grove San Diego East based on this experience. They seriously need to improve their service and maintenance standards.

Rodeway inn lemon grove , the check in receptionist was very rude mention it was my first time at the hotel , secondly asked for papers for my service animal which you can't ask for my animals papers by law , thirdly you have stuff falling apart in the room , housekeeping knocking at my window on rushing me to get my food , i felt like rodeway inn east lemon grove was very discriminating made me feel very uncomfortable , on top of that day shift receptionist took 20 dollar deposit out of my 50 because of the sheets , that has nothing to do with damage property and felt scammed out of my money , for a hotel with expensive prices i wouldn't recommend this hotel

It was great just a very small hiccup with the printer other than that everything great

First we were given a room that stink to much cigarettes, the lady was nice and promt to switch room., but the blanket stinked like pee call reception but never answered, had to go out and ask for one,this new receptionist was kind of rude. The property loction had plenty of to eat and we felt safe to walk oround, there is a food4 lees right next. There was no hot water,supposedly due to a city problem. I told receptionist why wasn't I advised before I finished checking in.I ask for a credict and she play the part of it was not up to her.

Terrible area Building was rundown Very small room, no cups in the room. The office is locked and registration done thru the night window, couldnt hear the check in person and she was not personalble at all. I will not stay at this property ever again.

This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at. First of all it’s NOT a hotel, it’s a run down motel that looks like it “could” be used for prostitution. My travel plans changed and I had to get an emergency room for one night. In hindsight, I would have been better sleeping in my rental car. There were holes in the sheets, brown stains on the towels and walls. Dirty floors, mini fridge and telephone had a layer of dirt, toilet wouldn’t flush and check-in was extremely RUDE!

I was surprised at how awful this hotel was considering it's price. I could tell that management was trying to make improvements but for $200 it wasn't even1 star. Tv broken. No hot water. AC rattled and leaked all night. My feet were filty after waking on the floor. I tripped on the uneven top stair going to my room. Its between a Home Depot, Food 4 Less, and a homeless tent camp. It looked like a charming, hidden gem from the listing but it definitely wasn't. Car alarms went off in the middle of the night and someone banged on my door. We left in a hurry the next morning. Glad i wasn't alone!

Peaceful convenient staff nice an professional there's nothing l didn't or don't like about the place thumbs up 👍 only thing my kids wanted to swim but they don't have a pool but thats ok

You get what you pay for so just keep that in mind. However the room exceeded my expectations from previous reviews I have seen. Checkin was smooth and when we got in the room, I was surprised to see it was modernized from the photos. It was clean inside and was a nice place to stay. The only thing I will say is the pillow quality is of that you get at the store and wash it where the cotton gets stuck together. Not the bests and the bed mattress itself was good a bit firm but I enjoy that but it did squeak quite a bit. But for a motel, I was more than happy with the stay. Also near a bunch of fast food, restaurants and stores so convenient location

The location was great for my traveling purposes. Neighborhood is sort of on the rough side of seedy. The photos on Expedia need updated- there are no lamps, coffee makers, alarm clock, etc. but those items are in the photos. Staff pleasant, new management. May I suggest somewhere on the property to offer a shady picnic table?

The floors were so dirty no water pressure homeless people were hanging out there

Unsafe

Room had a musky, humid smell and feel, AC was filthy, did not attempt to turn on, the smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag, and a $50 cash deposit was required. Luckily I had cash on hand or who know what may have happened.

Smoke free room, smelled like it had been smoked in before. $160 is kind of high for the room. Surrounding area is ok. Parking is narrow, difficult for bigger trucks to park. Bed wasn't bad, mini fridge worked well. The TV had some damaged pixels. Ac worked well. Shower was nice, toilet didn't disappoint.

It is a bit different from the pictures but it was a nice convenient quiet place.
